Description from the owner
Casa Brava Extra-Private Modern Architecture in Jungle Setting with big Pacific Ocean Views!
See our mention in the May 18, 2011 "Mex it Up" article in the New York Style Magazine
Very Private! Stunning modern very large studio loft apartment located in one of the premier locations, close to fantastic restaurants, shopping, surfing or just sitting at cafes for people watching. Yet the property is just far enough away and totally private to still offer sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, unspoiled jungle, and the quaint village of Sayulita. There is amazing bird watching from the house: the little green parrots, the Black-throate...Read more

Additional Location Information
The village of Sayulita begins at the bottom of our road, right where the palm lined avenue was just completed. From our front door it is an easy 10 minute stroll to the very center of the village plaza or the beach (unless you stop along the way to window shop, buy a smoothie or eat a taco). Returning you'll have a steep hill for the last block before our house so you'll need to give yourself more time for that.
***Please Note...Car rental companies are having a price war and cars are now less than taxi fare to and from the airport. Take advantage of this while it lasts!!

Additional notes from owner
Ask about our Last Minute discounts of up to 25% off. Also, lower rates for our Guest House and Main House. Rate includes all taxes, housekeeping, laundry service, WIFI. However, this does not included the customary gratuity for the house staff and for this we suggest $5 - $8 dollars USD, per day.
The Apartment does not have access to the swimming pool or the VOiP phone.

ColoradoCasa Brava is the place to stay in Sayulita
Left on 12/02/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We have nothing but fabulous things to say about Dale and Casa Brava! Even before we arrived at this stunning property, we felt at home. Dale was warm and helpful and answered any questions we had from afar and made everything easy. The house is situated on a very steep hill (which at first is alarming). The hike up is worth it, as Casa Brava has a stunning view of Sayulita. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Dale and Felipe, whom were always friendly and accommodating, and a nice bottle of Tequila. We spent just over a week in Sayulita and the word that immediately comes to mind is peace. Everything about Casa Brava is peaceful, relaxing and calming. If you're looking for a place to stay in this hip little town, Casa Brava is the way to go. We had such a great experience that we have already booked another stay in March!

bend oregonamazing space...
Left on 06/22/2012 for a stay in June 2012
we had a wonderful time staying in the loft at casa brava. the space was large, the sliding windows were barely topped by the amazing views of the ocean and the point. we are really looking forward to staying in the guest house or main house next time as they were not available when we booked, the soaking pools would only make the experience even that much better and relaxing. we felt that everything in the house was well thought out and easy to use, not to mention visually awesome. the custom casa brava local city information binder of things to do, eat at, and check out was as good as any of the high end "to do's" that you would expect at a boutique hotel in london, sf, tokyo, or nyc. the staff was kind and courteous. we never got around to watching any of the 300+ Dvd's but the library was impressive to say the least, and even cataloged by title, genre, actor, and director. casa brava is about the details and they can be found wherever you look. we could have and wanted to stay there for weeks, the house just felt "right". so a big bravo to brava, we honestly don't know how there could possibly be a better place to stay in sayulita.

Vancouver, BCStunning views and design at Casa Brava
Left on 11/18/2011 for a stay in November 2011
The attention to detail, design and curation of Casa Brava is incredible. Each view is better than the next. Perched high on the hill, it offers an escape from the energetic town center. We stayed in both the Studio and the Guest House suites. Each is designed to let the warm breezes flow through the space and maximize the stunning views.
Dale and Chris are outstanding hosts offering loads of recommendations for dining, activities and outdoor pursuits. They are super friendly and went above and beyond. We could not ask for a better more relaxing and inviting place to spend our time.
Casa Brava was absolutely the highlight of our week long trip to Sayulita. We will be back again soon!

Portland, ORGood stay

Well-kept house. Stayed for 3 nights in the studio unit attached to the house. Good ocean views. No access to the main house's pool or hammock or other ammenities. The housekeepers are friendly, but didn't bring bath towels when we asked. Luckily the laundry room is right outside the door, so we grabbed our own. They provide beach towels which is nice. Walk to town is short, only 10 or so minutes, but it's a dusty, not very pretty walk. Getting back up the hill is seriously a feat. If you are not in shape, do not attempt. No door to the bathroom, fyi, in case you like privacy on the toilet. Kitchen small but adequate for simple meals. We made fish tacos with the fresh fish bought in town, and veggies are very cheap.
