Just north of Puerto Vallarta’s bustle, shopping, and amenities, the village of Sayulita sits on a small bay. Around the curve of the bay a ten acre estate is bounded by radiant beach, dramatic rocks, and lush tropical forest. As you approach along the private drive, glimpses of azure water, sparkling white sand, and the life-giving sun of paradise flash between the trees.

The cobblestone courtyard allows entry to the lovely houses of the estate, perched above the sea, keeping watch as the sun floats over the Pacific ocean. You step onto the patio and see water lapping the beach, calling you to set your cares aside and sink your feet... in the sand.

Like the gem in a bracelet along the northern arm of Sayulita Bay, the Casa Kestos estate provides a perfect mix of privacy and accessibility to Sayulita. After a hard day relaxing, the most difficult decision you may face is whether to sample one of Sayulita’s many restaurants or buy fresh fish for the casa’s grill, filleted by the same hands that caught them in the deep waters beyond the punta.

An easy 20 minute walk along the shore will bring you to the center of town and its famous central beach, where locals and visitors daily mix in a tableau of sunshine, relaxation, and a pace of life far removed from , the hustle of nearby Puerto Vallarta. But if your need to get to town is because you’ve discovered there are no more limes for margaritas, the highway will get you there in five minutes.

Three separate dwelling sit on an outcropping of rocks that emerges from the beach like the mirage of a ship. In front, paths lead to the sand and surf.

A landmark of beach-living style, the main casa was first built in the late 1960?s. Additions and updates have kept the original architect’s intent of blurring the boundaries between indoor living and outdoor living.

The latest addition to the estate, the bungalow is a self-contained house with its own kitchen and bath and superb attention to detail. Seductive with a king-size bed, yet practical with a queen pullout sofa, the bungalow is the perfect setting to create lasting memories for everyone from honeymooners to families with small children. All rates are good for up to number of guests listed above. Each additional guest is $30 to $50 per person per night depending on season. Email for exact rate quote.
18% tax will be added to all rentals
At some times of year, special rates may be given for 1 or 2 guests
Weekly rates are the nightly rate x 7.
Minimum 4 night rental in most cases. Shorter stay possible if it works with existing calendar. Extra short stay charges may apply. Holiday minimum is 7 nights for Christmas week and 7 nights for New Years week.

Cleaning fee may be added in certain situations and certain times of year. Number of days of maid service changes with the season.
Pets are allowed in some situations with an additional fee and security deposit

  We have traveled most of the world and been in some places that were way to rustic as well as places that were way to modern, we believe that Casa Kestos is unique as the area is remote but you can see civilization and even walk to it. If you want to explore or do nothing and enjoy the beauty, you can do both or nothing. The views are exceptional (actually the best we have ever had). The little town of Sayulita is within walking distance and offers a taste of old Mexico mixed in with the 60's surfing mentality. The accommodations have this great rustic look however kitchen and bathroom appointments are state of the art . We felt that the price for up to 8 people was one of the best values we have ever found. What a great find this was and we will be going back again and again.

  My 3 day stay here was the perfect get away. Sitting on the patio and just watching the amazing ocean view, with the occasional dip into the pool, was the ideal way to spend the day. It's a nice walk along the beach into Sayulita to watch the surfers and pick up some groceries. Having a late dinner on the patio was the perfect end to the day with the sound of the waves providing the background music and getting to do it all again in the morning.

  After a week at Casa Kestos in Sayulita I know how the 'one percent' live, or should. From the surf crashing on the beach and rocks below to the pool perched over the beach, it's perfect, just perfect. The open house and the appointments are first class and in a matter of minutes I forgot all the cares of home. I know I'm in the right place when I start thinking of moving when I awake the second morning. I'll be back for sure.

  Casa Kestos is absolutely beautiful; I home I could live in forever! The privacy it offers, yet located steps from the beach, is truly amazing. It is the perfect combination of wonderful Mexican flavor and all the modern amenities one could possibly want. I felt I had stepped in to a home out of architectural Digest with the amazing decor and comfort it offered. A peaceful stroll down the beach into the town of Sayulita was perfect for a bit of shopping and lunch on the beach. Enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening from the pool, living room, or bedroom.
