TorontoPerfect family vacation.
Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My husband and I were looking for a family friendly vacation without going to a resort. Something that would give us and the kids (ages 6 & 8) a feel for a different culture while still being relaxed and safe. That's what we found at Casa Rincon in Sayulita. This sweet little casa was right in town, just a 5 minute walk from everything - terrific beach, great restaurants and plenty of shopping - so we didn't have to get into another car until we left 10 days later. Loved the beautiful, walled in garden and patios with views. Even ate some bananas fresh from our banana tree. We're planning on coming back next year with my brother and his family. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!

Leslie,
We had an awesome time. Our families loved your house and wanted to stay longer. The decor and ambiance was off the charts making us feel at home and comfortable. We all regretted moving on to our next location. Sayulita is a special place and we enjoyed the energy of the holiday. People everywhere were friendly and helpful.
We hope to return soon.
Thank you,
Noel -

New YorkExperience the heart of Sayulita
Left on 12/11/2012 for a stay in November 2011
Rarely have I stayed in a house where the sense of home is so present and comfortable. It is an upscale accommodation, while at the same time being true to that hovering spirit of Sayulita. The house embraces you, and begs you to relax either in the garden, the patios, the roof, or your own room.
The space offers perfect privacy, without ever sacrificing the opportunity to live in a town that must resemble what Puerto Vallarta seemed like 40 years ago. The house is located in the real and very safe part of Sayulia - not one of the enclaves of expat properties resembling southern California. When you do venture out into the street you are greeted warmly by the locals.
Over the years the restaurants have become extraordinary. The local produce plentiful, and accessible. I suppose I will never truly know why the food tastes more vibrant and authentic prepared by the masterful local chefs.
The house seems to create a grace of simplicity in daily decision-making. After what book to read - what beach to walk to? To eat in, or go out? (Ron's Shrimp Pizza - nowhere else, anywhere, as good - even at home in NYC.)
And finally, for me, it is about the sound of a place that makes it unique. The ever present music, which is always so joyful, the sounds of the trucks selling fish, shrimp, vegetables, the spanish language - so rich and beautiful. The chakalakas in the morning and the stray dogs at night as they take up their watchdog positions echoing through the valley. Even the sound of people on horseback - proving that as much as things have changed, there are things that are not meant to.
This house, designed with so much love and caring provides both an oasis and an anchor for an exceptional visit in an exceptional part of Mexico.
