This unit is a generously proportioned one bedroom that sleeps two adults. The floor plan boasts a soaring palapa roof, with a wall of french doors that open to the ocean, pool and village view. This unit is often described as "very sexy"
The palapa penthouse includes a king sized bed with heated mattress pad to wisk away and dampness from your sheets (typical in a tropical climate) Should the mattress pad stop working you will have a clean non heated pad until we bring one down from the U.S. as we have not been able to find these in the states. Casa Sonrisa is nestled in a charming neighborhood in the North Central part of Sayulita. Buffered from the noise of the night clubs yet a short a 5-7 minute walk from the village square, or the main access beach. Shops and eateries begin just around the corner from the base of our road. For those that wish to take the bus from the airport, we are just a few blocks from the one and only stop in the village. If you prefer private transportation from the airport we can help you arrange a luxury SUV to be waiting for you upon the arrival of your flight. The driver will stop at the store and wait with your luggage so you can pick up staples and then take you on to Casa Sonrisa. On the day of your departure the driver will arrive at Casa Sonrisa, and help load your luggage with plenty of time to get you to the airport to catch your flight. The additional cost for this service is $130.00usd round trip including the stop at the store.

Everything about our experience at Casa Sonrisa was above par! The house was immaculate and tasteful without feeling you were in "someone else's house". The landscaping was gorgeous with the perfect pool and lounge area exploding with flowers, not to mention the ocean view...
With the house sitting on a hill, we all felt safe, especially being in a foreign place, and the view of the village and ocean was superb. The only drawback was climbing the hill every time we came in from town! It was just more motivation to have an extra shot before heading home..
I cannot wait to visit again and take my kids next time! Or not. -

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Sonrisa. It is beautifully appointed, wonderful views, romantic and far enough away from the center of town to avoid the noise, but close enough to comfortably walk to anywhere in Sayulita.
We love the Palapa and will be back!
