The Dunes is in a fairly quiet location, close to the beach and many restaurants and shopping centres. The units are well appointed and spacious for small families with nice outdoor areas to relax in.

We stayed at The Dunes for 10 days over Christmas and New Years 2012/2013. The apartment was fantastic as was the service from Karl and Evelyn. They even helped us find traditional Danish Christmas food. We recommennd The Dunes to everybody looking for a nice and quit apartment with all the amenities, yet close to the beach and shops. Look no further if that ticks your boxes..

I stayed at The Dunes with my young baby and friend for 10 days. The owners are really helpful and provide excellent customer service. They provided all the regular things for the baby- portacot (including all linen so you don't need to take up extra space in your suitcase), high chair. They also provided beach towels, boogie boards and sand bucket and shovels at the beach which was a definite bonus.
The apartment itself is in a great location, just a short stroll from shops, cafes and the beach but is still very peaceful and quiet. It comes fully equipped with everything you would need to holiday with your family and is neat and tidy. The beds are really comfy as well which is important for me. There is a lovely BBQ area out back with a little fish pond which was an added bonus.
The owners also hire cars at competitive prices so you can book everything in one phone call. I did compare prices with avis, Hertz, Budget, ect and they were cheaper. You can pick up and drop off at the airport at no extra charge even though they are based in Scarborough which was excellent.
Overall, we had a great time here and would highly recommend staying here for sure. The Dunes is great value for money and Scarborough is a beautiful place. We would stay here again if we return to the area!! -

Having never been to Perth before my husband and I was unsure of locations, apartments etc. So we began our search for an apartment, and having read some of the positive reviews on trip advisor about The Dunes, we opted to book.
We were really pleased with the service that we received from the owner Karl prior to arriving, we emailed him with a few queries whilst back In the UK and he got back to us straight away which was really reassuring. Excellent customer care.
The appartments were well equiped and really close to the fabulous beach! We were a party of three adults and the size of the accomodation was adequate. There was also a nice area to BBQ. Carl and Evelynn were really helpful and we would recommend these apartments if you are looking to stay in Scarborough. -

We had a very comfortable stay in the very spacious and clean unit we had at The Dunes. The unit had everything we needed and indeed more than we expected.Very handy location, was perfect for access to the beach, shops, good walks and swimming, transport to the city, we even made it to Hillary one day 1.15min easy walk. Will definitely stay again. Hosts were definitely accessible but pretty well left you to get on an enjoy your stay. Booking and access was done with ease. Thank you

Stayed with my family who had flown in from oversea's, had months of notice to personally visit and shop around for the perfect accomodation in Scarborough and we got it spot on with the Dunes, smallest of walks (3mins) from the beach, shops and transport but far enough away for peace and quiet to relax and enjoy the best seaside location in Perth. The owners could not have been better for advice and tips for my family who wanted to enjoy everything Perth has to offer. I have and will again recommend The Dunes to any Friends and Family travelling to Perth.

I enjoyed my stay at this self contained apartment with my family. Karl and Evelyn were a delightful couple. They were always there to help us when we needed extra towels or any amenities we required. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, the place was also spotless when we moved in. We were able to sleep comfortably in their bedrooms and also cook our meals in their equipped kitchen. The apartment is also very convenient to assess by car from the city (about 20mins away), down the street was Scarborough beach where we enjoyed watching the sunrise and my nephew enjoyed the playground nearby. Behind our backyard was a little pond and a BBQ pit for use. One could sit by the pond to enjoy a glass of wine and have a BBQ session with friends and family. The apartment was also safe and we had no problem parking the rental car at the provided car lot allocated. I would highly recommend anyone to stay with them and their rental price is also reasonable for the facilities provided.

We searched for The Dunes under accommodation in Scarborough. We communicated with Karl and Evelyn who were most helpful. On our arrival from Brisbane, Queensland our apartment was ready. It was a 2 bedroom apartment and was clean and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area was very pleasant with seating for 6 people. There was a BBQ in another area at the end of our outdoor area which was closed off by a door which could be shared by others. The Dunes is just a 5 minute walk from Scarborough Beach. There is a Coles Supermarket and other shopes close by and lots of coffee shops and takeaways on the beach front.

We stayed at The Dunes for two weeks from the end of Jan 2012. We found the location to be great with the fantastic beach and local shops including a supermarket all within a short (5-10 Mins) walk away. The apartment is a very well equipped air conditioned two bedroom unit with great outside space for a large table and chairs as well as comunal use of a barbeque. We found everything modern and spotless as well as having a service clean after the first week. The owners Karl & Evelyn could not have been nicer or more helpful with advise etc. We had a small blip with the air con whoich they had sorted out the same day. In adition they lent us boogie boards and a sun umbrella free of charge. I would have no hesitatiom in recommending The Dunes in Scarbough as a brilliant holiday location.

We spent 5 nights here in april with our 2 teenage daughters. What a fabulous place to stay - the previous reviews are spot on. Lovely well appointed 2 bedroom apartment with bathroom with spa bath and washing machine. Even washing powder is provided! Easy 5 minute walk to stunning Scarborough beach - you must watch the sunset on a clear day - stunning colours! Coles supermarket easy 10 minute walk away. Good cooking facilities and microwave, iron, hair dryer etc. Peaceful courtyard with fish pond - lovely in the sun. Nice outdoor seating area - very private. Only problem we had was the free wi-fi had very poor connection, but Karl was kind enough to let us use our laptop in their office area. Would fully recommend this property. Easy 15 minute drive to Perth city.

Dear Susmita
Thank you so much for the great review on Trip Advisor.
I have asked our computer guy about the reception on the Wi-Fi and he is getting me a link to plug in so hopefully if you stay again you will get better reception.

Lovely clean and spacious accomodation, everything you need - great little courtyard to chill in, as well as your own private terrace. Friendly and welcoming hosts, very ready to help if you needed anything or any information. Not far to walk to the beach or shops. Thoroughly recommended and would be more than happy to stay again if we are back in the area. Thanks Evelyn and Karl. Sorry for not doing this before!! :)

This is one of the top places I've stayed in over the years and I'm a veteran of beach properties. The property itself is clean, spacious, well equipped, and decorated nicely. The bedrooms have plenty of room and closet space if you need it. There's everything you could want in a kitchen (including a corkscrew, which is often left out of rentals). The bathroom is bigger than most locations and features a very relaxing spa tub. There's a washing machine with private space to hang up your clothes as well. The kitchen opens onto a private courtyard with table and chairs, a great place to have a spot of wine and cheese after a day at the beach. It's also a quiet location, which is often rare in beach locations.
It's very well located as well. The beach is a three minute walk and it's a lovely beach. You can walk to a supermarket and several restaurants and stores. The trip to the airport took about 20 minutes and you're well situated to get on the road to the Pinnacles or Freemantle.
The best feature is the owners, Karl and Evelyn. They made sure to introduce themselves and since I was a first-time visitor to Perth Evelyn made it a point to give me lots of helpful information about the area. It's so nice to arrive in a new location and feel like you're among friends and that's how they make you feel. They made early check out a breeze, even though I didn't want to leave! -

The apartment is ideally located for Scarborough's fabulous beach (plus all beaches and local amenities on the Sunset Coast) and is only 15 mins drive from Perth CBD. It is also extremely well presented, spacious and clean. The owners were very hospitable - a welcome relief after a long flight from the UK - and made our stay comfortable and easy with 2 small children. We took advantage of their family-run car rental business and again, found the service to be very good. We will not hesitate in recommending The Dunes to friends and family and hope that we will be able to return one day!

We first stayed here in 2009 and returned for a second week in 2111. That says it all!! This place is excellent - spacious, comfortable, convenient with free wifi. Add to that the fact that the very helpful owners live on site - what more do you want? Not cheap, but you get what you pay for which, in our experience, is not always the case.

We loved the Dunes, the appartment has a great sence of space the open plan living room and kitchen leading to the well appointed bedrooms and bathroom.
I must admit the bed was one of the comfiest beds I have slept on.
Position wise the dunes are very close to all the amenities of Scarborough a five minute walk or a 10 minute stagger back to the appartment.
Karl and Evelyn were very quick to answer all our emails and we found the price very very reasonable.
The BBQ area is a great toutch and we made full use of the facillities.
Would re-book if ever in Wa again. -

The apartments have a great energy as soon as you enter. Especially loved that they were very private in every room plus quiet. The children loved that they had space outside to play in the courtyard. It was a short stroll to the beach, supermarket & playground.
Thanks for making our holiday a very relaxed & enjoyable one! -

This is a great place to stay in Perth, the owners are such warm and generous people, The Dunes is cosy and well equipped, just a few minutes walk to the beach yet quiet, which suited us. You can access lots of places from this marvellous base including Perth's wonderful City. Would have no hesitation in highly reccommending The Dunes to anyone visiting Perth.
