Aleady hope to book again in the future.
Only downside was the arctic weather outside but we were warm and cosy inside and the open log fire made the cottage very homely. Deceptively large too, especially as were two couples with what seemed an excessive amount of stuff for a week stay. Plenty of space. Parking for twwo cars as well. The swimming pool and hot tub were fantstic and we all enjoyed daily swims.
A lovely, relaxing stay and the owners were very personable and welcoming, as were other members of the family.
Would highly recommend Westfield Barn. Good location for North Yorkshire and the East Coast.
relaxing, restful and really homely

We had a wonderful time at Westfield Barn, it was January, it was snowy but we were warm and cosy and very comfortable. The entire holiday was relaxing, it was great to be able to swim every morning followed by a dip in the hot sub. There is a great bus service from the village and although we had the car we made full use of the buses to York and Scarborough. The cottage is well equipped, quiet and peaceful but has easy access to the beautiful Yorkshire coastline and the moors. We will certainly go again
