My time at Casa DeLaMar was the best ever. My family and myself enjoyed every aspect of this wonderful villa we can now call home! Loved every minute of it..enjoyed the pool, beach, Mary and the gang. It was pretty cool to come back and see that the family was growing. Looking forward to our next visit...wish it was tomorrow that's all i keep talking about I want to go back to Tobago!!

      great family vacation

Left on 04/17/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Casa Delamar is a beautiful villa with great hosts. My family and I, including my 6 month old, stayed at the villa just a few days ago and enjoyed every minute. We felt right at home and enjoyed the pool, the animals and the adventurous 1 minute walk to the beach. We even went crab hunting at night. Not forgetting the gorgeous view of the sea from the veranda and the sea breeze and the most delicious tasting limes i have ever eaten. We will definitely be back soon.

Casa Delamar is a perfekt place for a family with kids. A lovely house, with plenty of space, beautiful decorated and the most fantastic view to the atlantic sea. Every morning you have the sunrice directly into the bedroom. There is a big pool, very nice for kids. Though our kids fell in love with the donkies in the back yard a the two dogs Pink and Bongo. The beach i very beutiful and very privat. From the moment we came into the house, we all felt at home, parents and children. Natasha and Malcom are such great host. They are willing to help you with everything from where to go, what to expirence on Tobago and where to find the best restaurants.
I can deffently recommend to go to casa delamar, i am sure it not the last time we went there...

At great place, to stay-live-lime and enjoy Tobago. It is a safe house and great for families, there is a beach "in the garden" and a lot of nice animals. The hostΒ΄s are kind and you feel welcome and just like home and a part of the family, if you want. It is placed central of TobagoΒ΄s eastside.
I can recommend the house as a part of a Tpbago Visist and Spceialy combined with a Wisit in the area of Castara

Thanks for great time and see you in Castara to the Jazzfestival

      Amazing!

Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We had a fantastic time staying at Casa, when we visited the magical Island of Tobago. Malcolm and Natasha are wonderful hosts and warmly welcomed us into their home. They were on hand whenever we needed their insider knowledge but were always very respectful of our privacy.

The villa was an ideal size for the 7 adults in our group. The veranda was the perfect spot to sit back, relax, take in the scenery and listen to the soothing ocean waves (with a cold Carib in one hand!). The pool and beach were warm and inviting and the villa is close to the local attractions, so there was always something fun to do!

I would highly recommend this wonderful villa, and hope to visit Malcolm and Natasha again in the not so distant future.
Thank you for helping make our trip to Tobago the holiday of a life time.

We had a wonderful time at the Casa! The location is quiet, but close to many attractions on the island. Having a pool and beach was wonderful with our 3 little ones because there was always something fun to do right outside our door. The house is beautiful and spacious, with an amazing view!!

Malcolm and Natasha were only there for a short time, but made us feel very welcome! I would recommend this for any family looking to relax and have fun!

      Magical Holiday

Left on 03/19/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We planned this to be the trip of a lifetime as it would probably be the last time the whole family would holiday together and I am pleased to say Casa Delamar was the perfect place for this. We were 7 adults so hired 2 cars at the airport at Malcolm's recommendation. There was plenty of room for the vehicles behind the gates at the villa.
From the moment Malcolm met us at the airport and led us back, via the supermarket, he and Natasha were the perfect hosts. The were both knowledgeable and informative about the island together with recommendations about trips and restaurants. However at no time did we find them obtrusive although they were present at the property most of the time and accessable if needed.
The villa was well equipped in a beautiful location. The memories of an early morning coffee sitting on the verandah, watching the sun come up over the bay to the sound of the waves will live with me for a long time.
The pool was a very good size with varying depths and was well maintained daily be Malcolm.
I have no hestitation of recommending Casa Delamar to anyone looking for the idyllic Carribean holiday at a reasonable price.

This was my first visit to Tobago and I truly enjoyed the accommodations that were available to us. Our family of 4 and extended family enjoyed the spacious and privacy of the property, We were able to enjoy the beach (had the opportunity to see some surfers), look for crabs and attempt fishing by one of my nephews. The private pool was by far the added bonus to the trip as we would venture out on the island by day and relax in the pool by night. The dogs and the donkeys were beautiful and again the house equipped with all necessities was a bonus. Malcolm and Natasha were friendly and helpful with any thing we needed. This is a definite place to stay for families/large groups alike as you will not be disappointed.
To hear the waves when you get up and feel the cool breeze while reading on the patio will not disappoint you. We will stay here again!

      Best Stay on the Tobago

Left on 01/31/2013 for a stay in January 2013

This is our second year staying at this villa and we spent 10 days enjoying this beautiful home. The location with a pool, private mile long beach, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, well equipped large kitchen make this a perfect place to spend a holiday. We love the hosts Malcolm and Natasha and all the animals. They are now friends as well as hosts and share their knowledge of the island and the property which adds to our experience. We enjoy both hosting parties and eating out both made possible because of how easy it is to get around from this location on the island. . Malcolm arranged a car rental (Jeep) at the airport and there is a well stocked grocery store on the way to the villa. The villa is gated, well lit and feels very secure located in a residential area outside of Scarborough (the largest city on the island). The hosts are helpful but never intrusive, they are reachable at all times and respond to all requests.
We love this beautiful villa and you could not get a better view than from the balcony overlooking the ocean with warm breezes making each day another to remember. We can not wait to return next year.

The way life's meant to be...

Left on 01/25/2013 for a stay in January 2013

My husband and I recently stayed at Casa Delamar with my entire family, including two little ones. It was more than I had imagined. Absolute paradise! Most mornings I would wake up with the sun, enjoy a coffee and a fresh fruit smoothie (they provide the blender!) and read on the balcony. Then I'd go down to the private beach (sand, not rocks!) and run a little, swim a little, float a little. Oh, and on your way down to the beach and back up again, you pass three donkeys that enjoy nose scratches, two of the friendliest dogs ever, and their new little puppy (born while we were there! The freshest puppy I've ever seen.) And after being at the beach, I'd come back up and hang out in the pool. It really did feel like home for the 10 days we were there. Natasha and Malcolm made us feel so welcome, having great chats and helping out with anything we needed, while still making us feel like we had the place to ourselves. I don't even really get how they do that!

I've been telling people about Tobago and Casa Delamar ever since I've been back. I'm sitting here and dreamily remembering it as I type! Thanks so much, Natasha and Malcolm. My parents have been planning for this vacation for years, and we all had a marvelous time.

If you are looking for a beautiful 4-bed villa with a pool and private beach access in Tobago for your next family vacation, then Casa Delamar will surely be the place for you! The owners of the villa, Malcolm and Natasha, are gracious hosts who will go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and supplied with everything that you may need to make the most of your vacation. There is fresh fruit available on your doorstep in the form of banana, lime and coconut trees, and the sound of tropical birds fill the air while you sit on the veranda sipping your coffee in the morning (or Carib beer in the evening). We had a wonderful vacation at the villa and couldn't have wished for a better place to come home to after a long day on the beach!

Left on 01/14/2013 for a stay in December 2012

I spent my last 6 days of vacation at Casa Delamar and it was an absolutely perfect ending! Natasha and Malcolm are the ultimate hosts, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Being an early riser, I cannot describe the morning view of the ocean as the sun rose and I listened to the waves crashing on the shore. It was a huge slice of heaven.
Casa itself is a warm, comfortable home that invites you to slow down, relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. We ended a few of our days with Wander's beyond delicious meals, and even got to enjoy Natasha's delectable cupcakes or "fairy cakes", as she calls them. Everything made it so hard to say goodbye!
My favorite thing about Casa - the thought of going back again soon!

Wonderful memories at Casa and I'm already plotting my return

Left on 01/14/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Casa was one of the best vacations I've had in a long time and I'm already plotting my return :)

Our stay at Casa allowed us to take a break from the hustle and bustle and just relax, breathe and soak in the sun and the sand. This was one family vacation that I would not soon forget.

So many wonderful memories and not enough characters!

Casa was truly our home away from home. Casa balanced contemporary decor with modern amenities and you still felt as though you were connected to nature. After taking a short walk past the citrus trees and through a mangrove, you're on a very private beach perfect for walking, sunning, or for playing in the surf. It's worth getting up early to watch the sun rise over Minister's Bay and you must sit on the balcony with a Carib during a full moon to watch the ocean just light up. As Malcolm would say it's "Just Exquisite!"

I can't write a review without mentioning our wonderful and gracious hosts, Malcolm and Natasha. They truly want to make sure that you have a lovely and memorable vacation. If you need anything at all, they are more than happy to help you find it. We loved Malcolm's island tour since it showcased parts of Tobago that we would not have otherwise seen. Natasha's cupcakes rival that of any cupcakery - the cake and especially the icing is to die for! Also, for a small fee, you can have their amazing chef Wonder prepare a meal for you. Wonder is worth every penny and we loved every bite. My brother loved Wonder's cooking so much that he asked her to fit in his suitcase so he could take her home!

I could not have asked for anything more out of a vacation. Casa was a little piece of paradise that I didn't want to leave and I hope to return very soon.

The breathtaking view and the soothing ocean breeze provided the perfect setting for the most relaxing experience I've ever had. At Casa, I was able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the real world and simply enjoy the beauty of Tobago with a few of my favorite people. Malcolm and Natasha were absolutely "awesome" hosts! They made sure that we had everything that we needed and even gave us a memorable tour of the island's rain-forest. Do not leave Casa without having a scrumptious meal from their amazing chef, Wander.

      Extraordinary and Memorable Family vacation

Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013

Casa is centrally located in Bacolet Bay...a short driving distance to Scarborough, Store Bay, Pigeon Point and Mt Irvine...destinations of great interest to our family.. Our stay from December 30 to January 5, 2013 was one of our most memorable which we shared with our adult children and their significant others for a recent family reunion in Trinidad with Tobago identified as "the real vacation gear down time". We hand picked this property and were not at all disappointed in our choice. The villa's contemporary decor, open concept and great use of space is as advertise...no kidding. Malcolm and Natasha were delightful hosts. A well kept secret was "Wonder" an international acclaimed chef who prepare our sumptuous dinners. These dinners coupled with Natasha's delectable cupcakes and Malcolm's island (day) tour added to the overall "excellent " factor of our week stay in Tobago! We will be back Malcolm and Natasha...where else could we enjoy fruit bearing citrus trees, moonlight nights overlooking the ocean from our balcony and a warm welcoming atmosphere but at Casa. Thanks again for trusting us with your property. Without question we had a delightful time with great memories and extraordinary hosts!!!

Left on 11/15/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We have just returned from a week stay at Casa Delamar and are wanting to return already. The location map on Flipkey is a little misleading as the property is a little way out of Scarborough. This is for the better because the garden backs directly onto its own 1 mile long beach. This beach apparently has access to about 4 other properties, but we never saw anyone on it except for the odd pelican! Malcolm and Natasha are wonderful yet discrete hosts, they live most of the time on the ground floor of the property and one day Malcolm invited me sailing on his Hobie cat which I had a fab day out, thanks Malcolm! We hired a car for 1 day to tour the island and Malcolm and Natasha suggested sites to see and places to eat. We followed their recommendations and had a very good day out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, it is very spacious, has great sea and jungle views, large air conditioned bedrooms, gorgeous pool and welcoming hosts. What more can you ask for? The property was really way too big for the two of us, but still very good value.

Casa feels like a home away from home from the moment you arrive. Malcolm and Natasha are the perfect hosts and could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them! Casa itself is absolutely beautiful, we picked limes and oranges fresh from the trees in the garden and Malcolm kindly cut down some bananas for us. The layout of the place is perfect, especially for our group holiday, as it is all open plan and blends wonderfully. The pool and barbecue area are great and provided hours of fun! The animals that they have there are a real novelty- the donkeys are adorable and the two dogs Bongo and Pink are very friendly and provide reassurance as they are sure to let you know if they hear anything! Lastly, the beach- having visited Tobago previously, I am sure it is the longest I have seen by far! About a mile and mostly deserted, lined with coconut trees, warm waters and beautiful sunrises and sets! When, hopefully, we manage our third visit, casa will definitely be our choice again.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome at 'Casa'. Natasha and Malcolm were perfect hosts and made our two week holiday a special experience. They were available as much or as little as we needed - perfect!

The villa was perfect for our party (eight adults)and we couldn't have wished for a better location. The pool was wonderful for a 'cool down' during the hot days and even late at night! To get to the gorgeous beach you have to walk past Mary, George and Daisy - three of the most beautiful donkeys which you can't resist stopping and petting on your way.

Pink and Bongo are the most loving dogs and we enjoyed their company every evening. . . as did my walking boot one night (I think bongo had cuddled up with it as he had the guilty face) :-)

Most of all Natasha and Malcolm made our wedding day the most wonderful day of the holiday. From organising the day to helping us to keep the wedding a secret from our party until the evening before we couldn't have asked for anything more. Their kind words on the day were a lovely gesture.

We wish we could have spent more time at Casa with Malcolm and Natasha, especially with the planned tree house build! We would love to return one day!

The two weeks I spent at Casa were great. The Villa is on a high end estate with a private beach and is a short drive from town so you have the best of all worlds. It's very private and is on a large plot of land so you are left un-disturbed and feel like you're in your own little world. Even with a party of eight the place felt big and we had more than enough space.

Even though we were un-disturbed Malcolm and Natasha were on hand whenever we needed anything. They seem to know everybody on the island and bent over backwards to help up us in any way they could. We started as guests and left as friends.

They have a paddock with 3 adorable donkeys who are really friendly and 2 great dogs who I really miss.

If I return to Tobago which I hope to, I would stay at Casa again without a doubt. It was the most relaxing 2 weeks I have ever had.

...I didnt want to leave. I refused to pack my suitcase the day we had our boat ride back to Trinidad because I wanted to stay. The house itself is really nice, spacious, clean...lol. I came with a couple of friends this year and it really was a vacation. Both Natasha and Malcolm were very friendly... & the pool was awesome! :D. The beach is like right behind the house and the location is perfect for a getaway vaca because its quiet and private...and the grocery and stuff are like not too far so that was good for us, because we ate alot. The only regret I have is that we didnt stay longer... :(
All does who scroll down to look at the reviews about this house to see what people...10/10! :D

we were planning on getting an ideal location and accomodation for our family after a number of years. Gradparents, parents and grandchildren were fortunate to locate Casa Delamar on the internet. The pleastries began even before we landed in Scarborough from Trinidad. The warmth but professionalism of Natasha and Malcolm as we negotiated our stay, being escorted from the Docks, the ambience of the building and surroundings and the almost homely atmosphere intrigued all of us. It was wonderful with the beach, pool and facilities of the Villa suited the entire party.

I stayed at Casa with a group of my friends for couple days over the summer as a trip marking the end of our high school journey. We can without a doubt say that it was an amazing experience. The house is very beautiful and spacious and definitely a place you would love if you're looking to relax in luxury for an affordable price. Natasha and Malcolm were refreshingly accommodating and friendly and made my entire group felt at ease and at home. The location is perfect for getting away from the busy life and settling in to a peaceful environment where you wake up the the sound of the ocean every morning and can relax on the patio or by the pool all day long. The beach is quite literally Casa's backyard so that was a plus for us as well! Overall we would most definitely recommend Casa as a rental destination for any type of vacation, and to Natasha and Malcolm, hope you and the animals are doing well! Hope to see you soon!

When visiting Tobago I did not have any sort of expectations of the villa we were going to because I didn't book the villa but once I arrived at the Casa Delamar, I was blown away. The villa is beautiful, refreshing and relaxing. The backyard is full of lush greenery and endless fruit trees. For our week stay, the beach was literally in our back yard, there were 3 exquisite donkey's (Daisy, Mary and George) and 2 beautiful dogs (Bongo and Pink)! I remember on the first day there, my boyfriend and I were visiting the donkey's and I turned to him and said that these people must have big hearts and truly trust humanity to allow strangers into their home and near their animals.

Natasha and Malcolm are the most-kind hearted and amazing people I have ever met. From the second Malcolm picked us up from the airport I knew our trip would be fantastic. They knew everything and anything about Tobago and were full of suggestions of places to go visit or dine. Natasha and Malcolm opened their home and hearts to us. I've left Tobago with new family and a heart full of memories. I will definitely be returning to Tobago and will stay at Casa Delamar. Sending you guys lots of love? P.S. Tell Mr. Davis we said hello;)

Before we left for our visit in Tobago I had mentioned that we planned to hire a taxi and run some errands before checking into the villa. However, Malcolm very kindly called and offered to not only pick us up from the airport but took us to the local grocery store (located just about 15 minutes from the villa) where we were able to get everything we needed for our stay. The villa itself is an outstanding piece of architecture with the most breathtaking view of the ocean and natural wetlands. If you are an animal lover, as we all were, this is the place for you! With 2 of the most beautiful dogs, as well as 3 of the sweetest donkeys I have ever met! My fiancΓ©, my brother, his gf and myself were fortunate enough to interact and even feed the animals! The private beach was truly that and made each day so peaceful. My absolute favorite bit was the company of Malcolm and Natasha. Although they stressed that the entire estate was entitled to us in full privacy, we quickly learnt that our stay would not be complete w/out them. They are the most generous, kind, and fascinating people I have ever met. By our second night I felt as though we were staying with family. Their knowledge of the island and their insight to life was so compelling that we literally were hanging on every word. Malcolm gave us some outstanding advice regarding what to see and do-which swiftly taught us-when in doubt--ask Malcolm! I cannot fully express my thanks for what they shared with us, through meals, conversation and experience. There is no doubt in my mind that I have made lifelong friends and as they taught me "treat your friends like family and your family like friends". I very much look forward to seeing you both again Malcolm and Natasha. I will be forever in your debt for the love, kindness, and wisdom you shared with me. Thank you for allowing me into your little piece of paradise!

--Natasha next time I'm personally taking you sailing to no-man's land for a little planning ;)

Aside from the beauty, charm and elegance within the villa itself all of these are only enhanced by the warm, welcoming and hospitable nature of Malcolm and Natasha! Without them I know that we would not have been able to experience half of what we did. From the moment Malcolm picked us up from the airport there was an immediate connection. He was pleasant, informative and accommodating. As we walked into the Villa we were all amazed by the beauty, tasteful decorations and of course the views. Malcolm and Natasha are bursting with knowledge about Tobago and are always willing to offer suggestions on places to dine, explore and simply experience. They're network throughout the Island ensure that no matter what excursions you desire, they can recommend someone who will take care of you as well as they do. This honestly never once felt like a rental; it was as if we were with family the entire time. My girlfriend and I were supposed to leave a couple days earlier than the other couple in our group and ended up extending our trip because we couldn't tear ourselves away from Malcolm and Natasha. Worst Villa To Ever Stay In

Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012

This has definitely been the worst villa I have ever stayed in! There were cockroaches in the house, dirty clothing on the bathroom floor from previous guests, dogs swimming in the pool. The dogs were also defecating and urinating in and around the pool and bbq pits. The dog tore up all the garbage an made a huge mess! It was disgusting!!! To make it worst Malcolm and Natasha were the worst hosts. They gave us no privacy. Always around the pool and constantly watching us as though we were criminals. If you want a great vacation, never stay here!!!

      Dear Guest

We anticipated that we would get an obviously fabricated and malicious review from yourself after we had no alternative to evict you and your 24 companions from our villa. You breached our villa policy on three separate occasions by exceeding the number of people permissible in our villa which was originally booked for eight guests by yourselves. We asked you on these occasions how many people were residing in the villa but time and time again you lied to us- you even admitted on the last occasion that you had lied and that β€œit will not happen again”.

We will continue to do what we do best which is providing a clean, comfortable villa with wonderful hospitality but we will not tolerate deceitfulness and dishonesty. Those guests who have enjoyed the Casa experience with us are good , honest, respectful and life enhancing people who will always be welcome at Casa. Unfortunately you and your entourage will never be welcome again.

We have informed our many villa owner friends on Tobago of our awful experience with you and they have noted this. We sincerely hope that this management response, which is for all to see on the internet with your details reaches every respectable villa owner on Tobago as no one deserves to go through this hellish experience you have put us through. We have recently been informed that an increasing number of villa owners are implementing a range of measures to prevent this type of thing happening and unfortunately with deceitful people like you there will only be further evictions if these are breached.

We are good, honest hardworking villa owners who only ask for respect and honesty from our guests. We hope when you next book a villa you will remember this note and put respect, integrity and honesty before everything else.

      Worst vacation rental ...horrible

Left on 07/06/2012 for a stay in June 2012

      Part 3
Here comes the best part on the last night of our stay we went down to use the pool with our kids around 8 pm ( dogs are out at this time) and as my husband walks down with my children the dogs are charging at them, my husbands reacts to defend our kids and Malcolm comes storming out of his home ( right next to pool) and confronts my husband about " attacking" the dogs ( I guess the kids are less important). We continue to enjoy the pool while being whatched by Malcolm and Natasha, very uncomfortable. About 20 minutes later we are are being called out of the pool and told that the police has been called and that we need to leave the premises. At this time in our vacation there is 3 adults and 4 kids left and it is 9 o'clock at night and they are throwing us out because they don't feel safe because we protected our children from their dogs. Yes you read correct they threw out 4 children out at nine o'clock pm with police present. We were also accused of bringing 20 people ( not true). We are outraged.
Thanks to some nice police officers keeping a very loud Malcolm and Natasha at a distance we managed to pack up our stuff and very scared and tired children and one of the officers helped us find a place for us to spend the night.
We did not get our deposit back but was reimbursed for one nights stay ( we were robbed).
We would never rent in Tobago again, just wouldn't take the chance with kids.
      Horrible, horrible, horrible.

      Natasha and Malcolm Welcome You

      Owner

      Dear Guest

We are obviously disappointed with your review which we believe was full of untruths, fabrication and totally insincere. Your husband’s drunken, abusive and threatening behavior was frightening for both of us and our dogs which is why we called the police and had you evicted; not just for our safety but the safety of your family as well as he was directing his abuse to all and sundry. We will never tolerate abusive, threatening behavior towards us or our animals from any guest and that is our policy. Your husband was very abusive and disrespectful to you also madam and that is shameful conduct of a husband to a wife especially in front of his own children and hosts- totally unacceptable. Your husband’s behavior was truly disgraceful and he has brought shame to Indian/ Trinidadian expats living in Canada.

Your husband in his drunken state lashed out and abused our two dogs Bongo and Pink(Rhodesian Ridgebacks) who have the most gentle temperament and would never hurt a fly. These two wonderful dogs, for your entire stay, patrolled the villa every night and guaranteed your safety as guard dogs and there was never any issues with them. Your husband then proceeded to vent his drunken anger at us both and were it not for your adult relative staying with you who managed to restrain your husband, there would have, undoubtedly, been some physical abuse directed at us. We were fearful for our lives when your husband started his threats and we simply had no alternative but to call the police. The Tobago Police have confirmed with us that they will keep this serious incident involving your husband on record and will not hesitate to take the appropriate action if he repeats this behavior on Tobago. Lovely, safe Tobago does not need visitors like him.

We do not ever want to go through this terrifying experience again and we would rather give up running this villa than having to endure the hell that your husband put us through on that night. We have never, in all the time running this villa, experienced this disgraceful and abhorrent behavior from a guest and to reiterate we will never tolerate this deplorable behavior from any future guest.

We are animal lovers and no animal deserves physical abuse simply because they are not liked. We take considerable care to introduce Pink and Bongo to our guests and ensure that they, our guests, are , indeed, comfortable with them before we let them anywhere near them. Everyone apart from your husband loves Bongo and Pink as they are gentle and totally loyal to all who stay at Casa.

We will never accept a future reservation from you or your abusive husband and we have alerted our many Tobago villa owner friends of our experience with your family. Until your husband changes his controlling and abusive ways and controls his drunkenness you are always destined to have problems wherever you rent in the world of villa rentals. Our sincere hope is that he does change for the sake of you and your children.

Yes, it was horibble - all brought on by your awful abusive husband. Have a look at our reviews when you get a chance- we will do any and everything to ensure that our guests have the best time ever and it shows. We look forward to welcoming back our first guest tomorrow who will always have the best experience at Casa.

All we ask now is that you leave us alone, stop harrassing us with your emails and carry on with your evidently unhappy lives.

Our group was 8 adults and Casa Delamar fit the bill to a tee! As good as the house was inside, its real charm is the layout - the terrace, the pool, the garden with all its flowers and fruit trees... the petting barn, and of course, can't forget your own, very private beach! And if all this, at a very affordable price mind you, isn't enough, hosts Natasha and Malcolm steal the show - warm and friendly, worldly yet down-to-earth - just good people! Malcom and Natasha were some of the most welcoming hosts I've ever experienced at a Vrbo. From the moment they picked us up at the airport (twice for both contingents of our party!) everything was a pleasure. Their property is exceptionally well maintained, and contains all the 'bonus' features you would only dream of expecting. The place is convenient, yet secluded enough to be teeming with wildlife such as their gorgeous Ridgebacks, donkeys, as well as a secluded beach with sea turtle nesting grounds. Spending time with them made our vacation all the more pleasant, and they were able to recommend many activities, as well as facilitate them. I will certainly be returning to Casa del Mar on any future visits to Tobago! Kudos on a gorgeous place, and Happy anniversary!

My stay at Casa Delamar with my family for the easter weekend was fantastic. It was the perfect setting for privacy and relaxation. The view was absolutely gorgeous waking up to the rising sun peeping through the lush coconut backyard and the constant crashing of the waves from the beach. It was like waking up in paradise and partying at nights in the beautiful backyard by the pool. We had so much fun there and hope to return sometime in the near future. Thanks for making our weekend one to remember.

      Outstanding

Loved our stay at Casa Delamar. Was a little skeptical at first that the beach would not be as close as it looked. All of that dispelled in our first minute of arrival. The view of the ocean from the verandah was spectacular. Only a short walk (30 ft.) and we were on a lovely private beach that stretched for at least 2 kilometres. During our stay, we only saw perhaps 8 other people on the beach. Lovely beach, warm water, nice hour walk to the end of the beach and back.
The suite is lovely, large and open with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable white leather seating in the great room, large dining table, large verandah overlooking the pool with additional seating for al fresco dining, sweet little cafe table in the front, right next to a lime tree with the most delicious limes I have ever tasted. Very comfortable beds, light and airy bedrooms.
Can't forget the stars of our vacation, our hosts, Natasha and Malcolm.
They had endless ideas for great day trips, and ensured that we all had a great time.
One last thing, a short walk away is a lovely little hotel with a fine restaurant, the Bacolet Beach Club. Nice for lunch or for dinner.
All in all, a lovely vacation spot. We will be back.

      Great Holiday at Casa Delamar

Left on 03/26/2012 for a stay in March 2012

My wife and I along with other friends had a wonderful holiday at Casa Delamar in March 2012. The 4 bedroom villa is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean with comfortable breezes. Each morning we walked along a secluded beach with overhanging coconut trees. We were told that the Swiss Family Robinson movie from the 60's was filmed on this beach and once we knew that we could recognize the idyllic location for that movie. A truly tropical experience. We toured the island by car and visited some very unique spots with uncrowded beaches and spectacular views.
The villa has lots of room with a very large pool and a short walk to the beach.
Our hosts were Natasha and Malcolm who welcomed us with warm & friendly Tobagonian hospitality.

we did much sightseeing throughout tobago, but with casa, you really never have to leave the property. it really has it all! the natural beauty, the beach, the pool, the villa interior all allow you to remain on holiday without having to work at it.
Malcolm and Natasha are a real treat. They are attentive and allow privacy. They offer great local suggestions; trust in them...they know. The villa is very safe, and close to Scarborough, with a great beach on property.
Tobago is great, and i am very pleased with my decision to go to casa. this is my first villa, my first internet reservation, my first flipkey. We came out way ahead and will recommend Casa Delamar to all my friends (in the USa), and family (in T&T;) who need a getaway.

Your own 'Home Sweet Home' on the island of Tobago

Left on 02/20/2012 for a stay in November 2011

Your hosts Natasha & Malcolm - both known affectionately to one another as "Bubs" - take great pride to ensure you have a great stay at their newly refurbished villa in Bacolet, in the heart of Tobago. You will be encouraged to enjoy your 'home' on the island, in fact it is their mission to make you feel at home.

The villa is refreshingly bright and modern, with stunning views across the palm trees through to the atlantic ocean waves. It was a treat to visit during full moon, great waves for the keen surfer!

The villa is fitted with all your required amenities. The feature I appreciated most (besides air con) was the WiFi internet connectivity, allowing Skype calls on my laptop and email access - even from the poolside, winner!

The garden is absolutely blooming with fruits and herbs to enjoy, many seemed unfamiliar to my naive urban life experience, but with a little guidance and much enthusiasm from Malcolm I felt confident enjoying the fruits of nature, as nature intended.

Be warned: Natasha is a wonderful cook, using local produce and home grown treats found in the garden. The simplest foods came alive with her confident seasoning, amazing.

At the back of the garden there is a magical walk through the private mangrove to reveal your own private access to the remote beach, Minsters Bay. A shipwrecked experience - without Wilson the football.

The island of Tobago is beautiful, but nothing beats having your own private beach to enjoy, a homely experience with the most hospitable hosts Natasha and Malcolm. Thank you for inviting me into your home, and experiencing a little bit of Casa dela Mar. Tanya

My view from the poolside Chef Malcolm at our beachside BBQ, what a treat! With the lovely hostess Natasha

This was our third trip to Tobago and we were seeking more than a hotel room. From the welcome at the airport, the car rental arrangements and the stop at the Penny Saver for groceries our hosts gave us a hint of what was to come. Natasha and Malcolm are wonderful hosts and CasaDelamar is not your typical rental villa.
The house provided a wide open living, kitchen area with plenty of room to cook, and entertain. We stayed in the master suite and had a view of the morning sunrise over the palm trees.Clean, fresh colors and open spaces make this feel like a upscale home. Ac is all the rooms with additional. The pool was perfect for an afternoon float and air cushions were provided. A walk through the coconut trees, over the bridge to the beach is the most spectacular part of this villa. The atlantic crashing on Minister Bay is an unbelievable sight. The surf was up, the water crystal clear and warm, the beach-- palm lined with shallow water out as far as you could walk. The sandy bottom and the 85 degree weather made for a perfect morning, afternoon and evening walk as we examined shells and sea glass on the beach. We had the beach completely to ourselves.
Our villa had all the security mentioned plus two friendly guard dogs, a locked front gate, parking near the front door, fenced in yard/pool area, and outside lighting both back and front. We felt completely free to roam the property and take advantage of the beautiful beach only a short walk down the path. The owners live downstairs and are available to assist your every need.
We loved the whole stay, the sun, sand, surf, Daisy the donkey, Pink and Bongo the dogs, the good cheer, kindness and hospitality shown by Natasha and Malcolm make this a vacation to remember.
We returned to Tobago because we have adopted two schools and were spending time teaching and sharing materials with the students and staff at L'Anse Fourmi and Ebenezer primary schools.

Having stayed at Casa dela Mar under its previous owners, we were delighted to meet new owners Malcolm and Natasha, a wonderful couple who we now count as our good friends. Though the house was as we had expected from our previous visit (thus our choice to stay here again!), new a/C units and improved beds added that little extra comfort to our vacation.
Malcolm and Natasha were welcoming, accommodating and helpful in every respect; when we experienced a minor issue with the refrigerator, they allowed us to store our frozen goods in their own freezer! Needless to say, a giving, generous gesture.
Malcolm has it set in his heart to create a perfect tropical oasis at Casa dela Mar, and the new additions of Daisy the Donkey and Natasha's sweethearts Bongo and Pink (beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies who aren't really "puppies") made our stay here an incredible one.

Some very minor issues such as the aforementioned refrigerator and the disappearance of several pairs of sandals (Pink, will you please stand up...) were dealt with by Malcolm and Natasha with diplomatic ease, and in reality became non-factors as the vacation progressed.

We highly recommend this wonderful property to anyone interested in exploring the richness and ruggedness of Tobago's natural environment, and coupled with a genuine sense of compassion and interest in your well-being on behalf of the owners, you can't go wrong with this villa as your destination.

Malcolm and Natasha: We'll be back soon!!

As a vacation should be, every moment spent was unforgettable

Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in November 2011

My stay at Casa Dela Mar(CDM) was nothing less than spectacular. It remains one of my most memorable vacation experiences. The Villa by itself was immaculate, spacious and beautiful. The pool was crystal clear and the beach was only 150 meters away. Surprisingly, everything was as the internet suggested. The free super fast internet provided was a huge bonus. What really made my vacation was Malcolm and Natasha’s dedication to making us feel at home. Malcolm’s graduate level knowledge of Tobago’s botanical and ecological system rivals any tour given on Tobago. Natasha’s warm and friendly nature bears resemblance to a mother, favorite aunt or close friend. Both are at your disposal if you so desire. The only negative aspect of my vacation was the availability of local stores. The local stores were a little out of walking distance. The closest store/town was about 1 mile so you will need transportation but you will find same issue everywhere. This was easily rectified by two solutions. The first Solution was CDM will drive you to any location you want. Second, if you came without a car CDM will pick you up from either port (air or sea). They will also order your rental car of your choosing (no charge) and organize the delivery and pick up at the villa. I had the opportunity to experience both (Β½ CDM drove me, Β½ I drove myself) and both worked out great. The best part of the Villa is the security. Casa Dela Mar is very conscious about Security which added extra value to my experience. It was great knowing that during my vacation, safety was their top priority. Overall, I will cherish my time spent at Casa Dela Mar and look to revisit in the future. My only regret was not taking full advantage of the backyard beach.

Best location, best people - this place is a must!

Left on 11/08/2011 for a stay in October 2011

This villa has two most important factors over the others:its location and its owners: most warm-hearted and caring people one could wish:Malcolm and Natasha. We first wanted our location to be on the Caribbean coast. Wow, this would have been a huge mistake! That coast has nice views, but with its narrow hilly roads and an inconvenient access to the beaches, shops and other poi's could ruin your vacation. Casa DelaMar is perfectly situated in a peaceful neighbourhood near Scarborough not far from the island's only highway. Did I mentioned it has its own private beach - almost copy-paste coastline of the most glorified beach on the island - The Englisman's Beach, but even longer? Well, now I did. The sandy beach has a clean sandy bottom and is suitable for children as it deepens slowly. Can you imagine that your beach is just a stone's throw away from the seaview porch of the Casa DelaMar!

The booking process was correct and smooth like a dream. Malcolm welcomed us at the airport and transported to the villa. Both of the owners helped us every way they could,so that you really feel yourself at home and being taken care of.We had our rental van first morning by the front door as agreed.Every single day you felt that our hosts really cared about us. Yes, Malcolm and Natasha are the very best hosts I had. Ever. And believe me I had travelled and stayed in villas a lot. No,A lot!
The rooms are clean and the sheets and towels are being changed regularly. Both owners are constantly improving their already refurbished property. The villa has good wi-fi internet access which is a must for many people. Usually the pictures provided in property description are far better than the reality. To my surprise, vice versa this time.

Bottom line:perfect place in perfect location with perfect people. You pay for the villa and you'll get five star treatment for free. And last but not least:we got two fantastic friends.
Thank you Natasha and Malcolm for the most fantastic time!

My wife and I live in the sister isle of Trinidad, and since we discovered Casa Delamar in 2008 we have been back every year with friends and family. I would recommend this fun, relaxed, warm feeling house to anyone who is looking for some good rest and relaxation.

What actually sold me was the deck with the view overlooking the pool into the coconut trees and hearing the waves crashing into the shoreline, it is the best sound ever. The sunrise and sunset aren't bad either

My friends and I actually found this house by accident, but boy was it the best accident ever. The owners were extremely nice welcoming people, and i do hope that Natasha & Malcolm can fill the huge shoes that was left for them, of which i am sure.

I can't wait to meet you guys!

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. I was made to feel very welcome there. The location is second to none. The warm trade winds are relaxing and lovely and the sound of the nearby ocean is soothing day and night. A short walk through tropical forest and you are at the beach which is a quiet paradise. I think my favourite attraction was the private pool- well-kept and warm with the heat of the strong tropical sun. The balcony overlooking the pool and grounds is wonderful and we ate many meals there. This was my 4th time there so that tells you something of my positive opinion of Casa dela Mar. I tell all my friends about this place. The accommodations, i.e. the house is 5 star plus, the pool is just an added luxury. The weather is great all the time. The location of the house is first rate as well, close to Scarborough, the beaches, snorkeling, etc... and yet far enough to enjoy the peaceful sunsets on the beach... I think it's one of the last places on earth where one can still enjoy life unspoiled by commercial developments, so if you get a chance, go for it, I am sure there will be no regrets :)

Wow! Would best describe this property. This place was very nice and comfortable. I and my family stayed while attending a wedding in a nearby Hotel. The wedding was awesome! Our stay at this property was awesome also. I am a music lover and love to hear it on a very crisp and clean stereo and I can tell you that the surround sound system that they have is wonderful and you take a swim in the pool or sit on the deck you can hear the music very clear. My being from the city, I loved waking up in the morning and seeing Gecko's and Lizards bypass the front door. If you want to get away weather it is a honeymoon, family gathering, or just somewhere to relax, I would highly recommend renting this property. The rooms are very cozy and spacious, plenty of closet space and mirrors in every room. The deck is huge the pool was awesome. Being able to go to the Beach anytime was awesome. We were able to pick a coconuts get a lime off a lime tree, you can't get all of that living in the city. I love to cook and to have all the utensils and everything that is needed and some that you would have in your own kitchen was a plus. I am looking forward to my next visit real soon. And the price was right!
