Nestled comfortably along the banks of the lower one-and-a-half-acre pond, the Knotty Cabin is aptly named for the distinctive knotty appearance of the beautiful wood from which it was crafted. From the upper loft to the bedroom and living area below, the cabin is richly adorned with finely-crafted white cedar log furniture, built by Amish hands from the shores of West-Michigan. The cabin will sleep ten comfortably, with two queen-size beds upstairs and two queen-size futons in the living area. A separate bedroom downstairs contains a set of bunk-beds.

The host is an average blue collared guy like me , he boasts of his accomplishments and shares his love of the outdoors and tranquility with everyone he encounters . Although we have only been there once we already have planned on going there again and again. Top notch 10 times better than a hotel . I really enjoyed the peace and quiet , although its an hour from home it feels like I traveled to some top notch resort out of state . I can't wait to see this place in the summer . I recommend everyone takes time out of their busy lives to enjoy this place .

Me & girlfriends recently stayed in the Knotty cabin & truly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin has everything we needed. Love the decor, has a half wine barrel as the vanity for the bathroom sink & curtains made from burlap sacks which is a great touch for a cabin.The porch wraps completely around the cabin with comfortable seating & a very nice hot tub on it.You have all the comfort of home tucked in the woods. The scenery was beautiful. This is a great nature getaway !

My fiance and I stayed here the first weekend in august! We absolutely fell in love with the property the minute we pulled in. Dave, the owner, accomodates his guests to the highest standards ever availabile, especially with his awesome hospitality. There isn't a thing he didn't forget as far as ammenities a guest would need for the cabin. The price includes linens, paper products, cleaning supplies, and firewood. Believe me I could go on and on! We will be returning here in the fall. The cleanliness of the cabin was impecable. The only thing I was missing was my dog.Lol No pets allowed but he plans on building a cabin that will be pet friendly! Oh, please GPS the property when arriving! You will need it!

Our group of 12 people visited Diamond Lake for a weekend of fishing, campfires, relaxing, and grilling. The property, cabins, and lakes were perfect for everything. Many in our group fished for some of those huge largemouth bass and we caught 10 or more bass over 5lbs! One guy caught around 40 total bass in our Sat and Sun visit. Also, if you like catching blue gill we caught tons of 2 pounders. The owner was nice, repectful, and accomodated us with everything that we needed. Whether you are fishing or just want a weekend away this property is perfect!

very good for fishing in diamond lake.
you will enjoy in the cabins nice funiture.
excellent location for weeding.
very speed wifi.
the owner very good we came early 10 am and check out after two days 12.00 after noon.
note. not easy to find this lake you must have garmin or you live in ohio you will read in

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin and plan to make a return trip soon. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We would like to go back when it is warmer to do more hiking and fishing. The porch and hot tub were a definite hit. A+

I had the privilege of being the first to stay in this beautiful cabin, and it was spectacular. The view over the pond was terrific, to say nothing of the deer we saw from window every morning. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the place to be.
The rustic furnishings throughout are top-notch and the cabin is appointed with all the modern conveniences needed to enjoy a weekend stay.
The staff was friendly and accomodating and made sure everything we required was provided in a timely manner. I would highly recommend making the trip out to Diamond Lake...you won't regret it! -

We stay here atleast twice a year. If we could afford it more than that trust me we would. Dave is the most wonderful person in the world. He has given us the royal treatment everytime we stay here. The cabin is very clean and well kept up. The peacefullness at this particular cabin is so amazing. Privacy is the one thing why we like this cabin. I tell all my friends about this cabin. The fishing is amazing. Words can not describe our stays there. We are planning on coming in Sept of 2012 reservations are made for a very long weekend over the holiday. We are counting down the days already and this is only January. If we get the money saved up we plan on coming before then just to relax once again. We have brought a few of our friends there and they absolutely loved it. One friend is handicap and he never stops talking about this place and Dave. This place rocks

This was a great experience! We loved the loft and the fireplace inside and enjoyed the hotube with the view of the lake from our front porch! We'll definitely be back! What a great value!!
