Style Den is a nice place inside but location and outdoor space have several drawbacks. The patio leaves a lot to be desired. It is very small with the pavers only covering a 2 ft by 5 ft area. It advertises patio furniture but none was there. It is also not maintained with weeds covering most of it. The unit faces rancho vista drive and deliveries come on a regular basis. Parking for the deliveries is right in from of the unit so bedroom blinds needs to be closed most of the day. The unit is also set back so the neighboring unit has lots of windows looking into the main bedroom. Realize this is loft living but the location was disappointing compared with other places in Optima.

The property is great and very well located in Old Scottsdale. The Westbrook staff was always very cheerful and positive .The complex is new with the latest modern architecture.
The unit is nice and cool as it is on the north side of the building. The furnishings are all Ikea grade and as such the Master Bed was in need of repair...with several slats loose and missing when we arrived...so we found ourselves repairing the bed first thing. We suggested they try harder to check-list the small but important maintenance items...like replacing closet lights...tightening TV brackets...barstools...etc. -

The service was really good. We did have problems during the stay though. No parking pass (it had been lost by a previous tenant), and due to a mixup a car was towed away (belonging to my sister-in-law...$200 tow fee & $60 taxi fee which was a bummer). No cell ph reception in the building. The keys were not the correct ones on one of the key rings. When we returned our keys in the lock box provided, they couldn't find them - until they realized they were looking in the wrong box. It just wasn't very smooth going. Everything was promptly taken care of by nice people. But it was a bit of a hassle to go through this. Maybe I've been spoiled by previous experiences that went much better. The unit itself is nice.
