The condo is located in the extreme northeast corner of the city of Scottsdale very close to Carefree and Cave Creek. This is a relatively undeveloped and unspoiled area, which means it is also nice and quiet. The natural desert surroundings and adjacent mountains are lovely. It is at a higher elevation than most of Scottsdale, which means the temperatures generally run 5-10 degrees cooler compared to central Phoenix. Bartlett and Horseshoe lakes are just a short scenic drive from the condo as well.

This condo was in excellent shape and totally clean from all aspects. The amenities center was a two minute walk from the front steps and included everything including workout rooms, pool, hotub, and tennis courts. The golf course clubhouse was a two minute drive away and the course was in fantastic condition.
More than the basics necessary to live in the unit were provided in the condo by the owner.
The owner also went out of his way to accommodate our late arrival. -

We rent vacation homes at least 3x a year and have been doing so for 16+ years all over the United States. We found this rental to be outstanding. From the initial contact thru checkout owners are very accommodating. Loved the condo-layout, view, appliances, furnishings, kitchen (we are foodies), electronics, location-it was all great. Here are the things that we think make this unit really stand out:
-love having the pantry-so often rentals never have a place for our food
-sharp kitchen knives, we love to cook so its nice to be able to slice a tomato :)
-updated electronics TV, hd cable, speedy wifi
-golf locations. Several wonderful courses nearby, including Legend Trails - we played 5x in 6 days.
- Shopping - conveniently located and you aren't too far from Scottsdale restaurants and activities, but far enough for peace and quiet.
The big bonus was the great horned owl nesting in front of condo with daddy owl hanging off the lanai every day-we really got a kick out of them. Truly we loved everything!

We booked Larry's condo over the internet from New Zealand. The response was speedy and paperwork completed easily. The property was exactly as advertised on Larry's website. For a golfing couple or two couples, it is ideal. We wanted for nothing - the kitchen was stocked beyond our expectations. We only had to buy our major food items (that makes a big difference when you are on vacation). The furniture and chattels were of a high standard and the wi-fi a necessity for us. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent! The golfcourse location was great, but it would have been even better if the Legend Trail restaurant was open in the evenings also. However Cave Creek is only 10 minutes away and we found some great eating places.

The owner greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the condo. Gave us great tips on where to eat. Condo is beautifully decorated. It had all the necessary amenities and more. We loved the balcony overlooking the 17th fairway. At night it was beautiful and quiet to sit out and look at the stars in the sky. We're from Wisconsin so we enjoyed the "Packer Bar" located in Cave Creek. It was packed for the game and we had lots of fun, plus the Packers won! We used the pool area almost everyday and it was nicely laid out. It was not crowded at all this time of the year. Would highly recommend this property. Worth the drive and the time to go a little farther north from Scottsdale proper.

The condo was quiet and relaxing. It is very well maintained. We had everything we needed. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the views, the wildlife and the golfers. We enjoyed being able to use the pool, exercise facilities and there were lots of areas to walk. It was great to be away from all of the traffic and congestion in Scottsdale but we were still close to everything we needed. Everything was very well organized and handled very professionally. We are so happy we stayed here and not at a resort.We would definitely stay here again. Everything exceeded our expectations.

This was our first experience renting a condo and we loved it. The condo was more than what we envisioned. Great location - quiet- friendly staff - balcony overlooking the golf course - scenic hiking trail next to condos - 2 pools and a whirlpool - etc. The listing description was very accurate - place was immaculate. 2 bedrooms, both with full baths. One walk-in closet with lots of room to store suitcases and hang clothes. Washer/dryer, 3 Tv's, garage - everything you would expect if it were your home.
The owners met us and explained everything we needed to know - and left a list so we could refer to it in case we were in doubt about something. They were wonderful!
This is a five star accommodation!! -

We stayed in this condo for just under a week and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The condo was beautiful, clean and very up to date. The condo was outside of phoenix, but not too far. It took us roughly 20-30 minutes to get into the city for the malls and restaurants. Otherwise its only a 10 minute drive to a grocery store, gas station and smaller shops. The owner of this condo was extremely helpful before renting the condo and for the duration of our stay, offering suggestions when needed. The condo had everything we needed (cooking, linens, etc.) including peace and quiet! We did not have to deal with noise from the city, neighbours or anything which really made our vacation a nice retreat! I would highly recommend this condo for any getaway!

We loved the location, the beautiful golf course, close to Carefree and close to Scottsdale, in fact, we covered the entire area around Phoenix and Sedona area and always liked coming back to our clean, lovely condo. The swimming pool is fantastic, especially for that sunny morning swim. The owner couldn't have been nicer. We would stay there again without any hesitation. Great find!

This condo is terrific! It is very comfortable, well appointed, and in a terrific location. It is located out of the congestion, but in a location that provides easy access to stores, restaurants, attractions, etc. We have been staying here for the past four years, and we eagerly await our next visit in 2012. We really do feel like we're "home" when we're staying here.

This condo is a perfect location, and real wonderful place to get a way, Condo was extremely clean, wonderful view. It had a lot of space.
I highly recommend it. The owner was very helpful for anything or any questions you might have.
Really enjoyed the pool and the 3 fitness rooms also.
