Our extended family including two grown sons, one daughter-in-law and one granddaughter recently stayed at Thunderbird House in Scottsdale. It was a great location to enjoy the diverse activities of a multi-generational group. We rented one van and split up on occasion. Some hiked, while others walked to nearby shopping and restaurants. We all visted the zoo, a hockey game and a spring training ball game. Our 1 1/2 yr old granddaugher especially enjoyed the backyard, spotting small planes and helicopters which flew overhead during the day, and watching her Uncle and Grandpa play pool in the house. It was a fantastic family getaway.

The owners were there when we arrived and took the time to fully explain how everything worked. They also had prepared a very helpful notebook that aquainted us with the area restaurants and other attractions.
The house was obviosly recently decorated and they had done a lovely job.The house was on a relatively busy street, but it was easy to get in and out and it was quiet in the house and back yard. We loved the central location!
What we liked best was the comfotable, homey atmosphere. -
