This large meadow home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac just a short walk to Pebble Beach. Home has 2.5 baths as well as two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom suite. The dining room is surrounded by windows overlooking beautiful white and blue water views. Home also features a spacious kitchen with all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Seaside Serenity. Great views and a comfortable home. Loved the dog packages! Disappointed the gas BBQ was gone but a charcoal one was available so all was not lost. Hot tub was great and the walk to Pebble Beach and the bluffs a short one. The dishwasher did not work well but the management was right on it. Overall a great respite for our family and everyone was happy. We have becoming to Sea Ranch for a long time now and this was a very nice home and we will keep it on our "A" list.

The home has a wonderful layout and nice in size.Even though not on the bluff,the views are wonderful.We had a perfect view from the top deck to watch the sunset and enjoy the spa listening to the waves at night.The home has a very comfortable feel the second you walk in.The kitchen is lacking a few supplies that would've been nice to have,but a nice kithchen with view of only suggestions are replacing the dishwasher,(trouble fitting dinner plates allowing no spinning and the refridgerator,(the door does not close properly...and if you have children using it,the odds are high the door will be left open after use.Other than is a wonderful home with beautiful views that I highly recommend!!

We have had the great pleasure of staying at this wonderful house twice. The views from all rooms are breathtaking. It is very comfortably furnished. All the pots, pans and tools are provided for those who love to cook. We enjoyed the hot tub throughout the day, but sunset is the best time to soak and take in the view and relish a true Northern Californian experience: fog/ocean sunset/bubbles. The Sea Ranch is a magnificent place, and Seaside Serenity is a great place from which to take it all in.

We were pleased with the location of the house - close to the Edgewater house where some of our family were staying.
Comments: We suggest moving the king bed into the master suite - and the hot tub wasn't very warm - otherwise everything was fine. -

Sea Ranch was beautiful and the house was nicely located.
However, the back deck on the house was VERY dangerous with hundreds of raised and exposed nail heads. Literally every nail head was raised to some degree. My vacation partner BADLY cut his foot open on a nail. There was blood everywhere and NO FIRST AID KIT. It happened late at 10pm and there was no way to get a band aid or gauze. We had to wrap it in toilet paper and elevate it and wait until morning to get help. This typically would have required tetanus shot. Thankfully he had gotten one a year ago. The management company seemed more concerned about calling us to hammer the nail heads during our stay. After they nailed some of the nails down, our daschund cut his paw on another nail head. Additionally there was no way of playing our music in the house. There was only an old CD player with a few Yanni CDs. There was no way of connecting an Ipod or MP3 player.
We will definitely return to Sea Ranch often, but not to "Sea Side Serenity". -

Our weekend at seaside serenity was like a dream! We stayed for the weekend before my wedding with our family and wedding party and it was like escaping from reality! The house was delightful, the views were unreal and the experience was heavenly!

We enjoyed staying in sea ranch. The home we rented had an ant problem. The day we arrived we had to purchase pest removal products to make the bathroom livable for us. Some of the info in the sea ranch info binder was incorrect ( for example we drove 30 mins to point arena to go to dinner at a restautrant listed as open but was not when we arrived: pizzas and cream). Beyond those two issues our stay was lovely. The ranch was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

We've rented many houses over the years and this was probably the nicest. Two big selling points: 1) It has a wonderful great room. The living, cooking and eating areas are all one big room that has a beautiful view. 2) The master bedroom is very big and has a superb view of the stars at night and the ocean and sunrise in the morning. And, you can make a fire the night before and throw a match in in the morning and wake up to a roaring fire.

We LOVED the house. Great spot. Very comfortable and well decorated. One suggestion is that the downstairs bedrooms have drapes or darker blinds. So much light comes in these rooms that it is difficult for kids to go to bed early and for grown-ups to sleep
late. The blinds in the upstairs bedroom work great! -

This house was great to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday with our family. Everything about it from the up to date furniture and kitchen appliances to the bedrooms, beautiful view from the main deck. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

While the home was very lovely and had a lot of nice amenities and the view was gorgeous I don't know that I will rent a home through Beach Rentals again since being taken over by a new owner. The prices have gone up dramatically compared to other rental companies in Gualala that have homes that are just as nice, if not nicer, they charge an obscene amount of money for cleaning services when it was apparent the home had not been completely cleaned prior to our arrival, they require you to pay half of the rental amount up front instead of just a deposit like the other companies charge, which means they hold your money and earn interest on it throughout the year, and there were no check out instructions left in the home or provided to us so that we knew what we were expected to do in order to avoid having the costly cleaning charge applied to our account. It will be interesting to see if they charge us the full amount after we thoroughly cleaned the house before leaving. As for the home itself, the only criticism I have is the location of the t.v. in the family room. Granted, we stayed to enjoy the view of the ocean and scenery, however, if a t.v. is provided, it should be in a convenient location for viewing, which it was not. It was off to the side away from the sofa, closest to the kitchen. Otherwise, the house was nicely decorated and comfortable.

We had a great time, A wonderfully appointed house with more kitchen gizmos than any we've seen before. The house was clean and well cared for. Just a couple of gripes, though.
We thought the master bath shower could have been cleener as we noticed quite a bit of mold where base meets wall. And we would have liked to see nicer linens brought to the house for as expensive a property as it were. Towels were fine but bedding could use a big upgrade. Thank you for your comments. The location in the bathroom that looks like mold is really a dark caulking material used to seal a leak. There is no mold in this shower. Beach Rentals has now purchased new linens and towels. Thank you.

We found the Seaside Serenity a simply wonderful house- comfortable with beautiful views. Enjoyed the little touches- comfortable outdoor chairs, three decks, and a terrific hottub. We had a peaceful and restful get-away in what almost felt like a castle. One small suggestion is to periodically spray for ants, which we noticed some inside when we arrived. Otherwise, fantastic all-round.

Floors did not appear to be recently moped as our socks had visible signs of dirt. The inside of windows whose blinds were not raised when we first arrived had significant spider webs. The inside of the other windows had been cleaned.

Just a few suggestions: We couldn't find a tea kettle, the water filter (although it was requested that we use it), or the key for the gas fireplace. Also, there was only 1 DVD player for the 3 TV sets, so we had to rent another one (with children of varying ages, it's difficult to watch the same movie). But over all, so well equipped and well-considered!
