We stay at the sand and sea every year for the last 5 years. We think it is a great place to stay all the staff are friendly . We like it because it is like being at home instead of a hotel room. We will be back next year.

The unit was very comfortable. Wonderful new carpets!
Comfortable beds.
Only negative: bathrooms need updating. The shower & tub shower let water out on floor creating a mopping up issue.Response from Sand & Sea - 08/30/2012
Manager
I really like the new carpet as well. We fixed the water from flowing out onto the floors in the bathrooms. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

great view. better values at other locations. management has to rent units no matter their condition
Response from Sand & Sea - 07/22/2012
Manager
I am sorry that you were unhappy with you stay. The owner is in
the process of updating their unit. They had just installed
new carpet and vinyl throughout the unit. I would think the couch
and loveseat will be next.

University Place WABest View On The Prom
Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We regret were only able to spend 2 nights here this year. It doesn't matter what the weather there is always a magnificent view from this unit. There is all you need in this condo to eat in or there is a great new resturant just down the prom. The only complaint we has was that while looking for the TV remote I lifted the sofa cushions and found it had not been vaccumed in a long time.

Seattle, WashingtonIt was relaxing, enjoyable, time spent at Sand and Sea.
Left on 05/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Our four day stay at Sand and Sea was enjoyable with good accommodations, pleasant and helpful staff, fantastic ocean view, well supplied kitchen and comfortable beds.
Our requests were met without delay and our grandson, age 5, spent as much time as possible in the pool.
We are looking forward to our next stay! -

everything was awesome! The unit was clean and decorated very cute. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you'd need to cook. It was very quiet and relaxing which is why we were there, to relax. The new flat screen TV in the living room was very nice. I could go on and on about the positives of our weekend. The weather was actually beautiful too. We'll be back for sure!

Left on 10/15/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We enjoy this unit because there is enough furniture for four people to stretch out and read or watch TV.
We feel the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the bathrooms need fans. But over all we were very satisfied, and would stay there again. -

we loved everything about the condo lots of room for our family there was 4 adult and 2 childern. really like the idea that there was washer and dryer.i foregot to have my husban tell you when he checked us out. we used the washer and it would not spin out very well. also it would catch the cloths up undre the adjataor, and ruined a pair of my pants. other than that a wonderfull vacation.
Response from Sand & Sea - 07/17/2010

Thank you for letting me know about the washer. I have
talked to the owner and they are replacing it.

Newport Traveler
Newport OregonSeaside - first experience - great view, well-stocked - maintena
Left on 05/08/2010 for a stay in April 2010
This was our first experience of Seaside. The Sand and Sea is very conveniently located to the nearby stores, restaurants, so we parked at the hotel and walked the rest of the time. The Promenade is a great addition to the view of the ocean (which is expansive from the condo). The condo itself is well-stocked and spacious with comfortable amenities.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Some areas of opportunity would be to make sure the advertised gas fireplace is working...we got it going a few times, but only a few minutes, which was disappointing. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable, but the shower did not work. The extra bedroom was nicely attired but the bed was not comfortable and had a plastic covering that made you sweat while you slept. -
Basketball Player's Granddad!
Portland ORGreat family vacation!
Left on 03/11/2010 for a stay in March 2010
Our extended family of six (my mother, son, daughter and her son and daughter!) were in town for the basketball tournament to support my grandson, who was on the Westview 6th Grade team. The accommodations were excellent, everything in the suite worked as expected, and the view was spectacular! The location was excellent, right next to the beach and easy walking from the attractions on Broadway (that's important to me, since I'm a disabled veteran with walking challenges).
The only down side to me was the lack of elevators. I don't do stairs well, and with only two, waiting was often a challenge! Of course, the grandkids flew down the stair and waited for Grandpa!
Please thank the property owners for allowing us into their home! -

Great location, nicely equipped condo, good access to downtown, restaurants etc. Unfortunately this visit coincided with visit of numerous youth groups which were noisy, not the fault of Sea & Sand.

Left on 08/03/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Once again we were pleased with our stay at Sand and Sea. We have been staying there for about three years now. This time bringing family from Missouri. We rented two condo's next to each other. With family it is so nice to have a more 'homey' feel as opposed to a cookie cutter hotel room. Cooking is simple with the well stocked kitchen. The view out the wall of windows is amazing.....WOW. The outside of the building is a bit worn but you will not be disappointed with the condo's. We have stayed in 4 different ones and have loved each one!!
Stop looking and stay here!

Seattle, WAGreat Condo - Awesome View
Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in April 2009
We love the Sand and Sea. The location is perfect, close to the water and the stores so you can walk almost everywhere. It?s nice to slow down, park the car and get to anywhere you need to go. The management is very helpful and will try to get you things you may be missing, like this trip the room was missing tinfoil and I needed just a little for making dinner.
This particular condo was nice. The size was a little larger then some of the others and we liked that having a young child. The decor was cute, and we loved the bench and table on the lanai. The only thing I wish it would have had would be a large baking dish. Other than that it was good. We will see if this unit is available next year when we go again.

We love Sand and Sea and have stayed there many times. We like this
particular unit, as we are 4 adults and love all the seating in the living
area for reading, watching the ocean and TV watching. Hint: The wall
where the TV is cries out for a large flat screen TV) Ha-Ha We
especially appreciate the discounted rates during the week. We will
always be back!! -

Left on 04/28/2009 for a stay in April 2009
We loved our unit, and wished we could have stayed a few more days! The rooms were cozy, quiet and clean. We really liked all the extras the unit had that really made us feel at home. We also really appreciated that the owners allowed the use of the washer and dryer in the unit. We seriously enjoyed our time at the Sand and Sea, and are already planning our next visit.
