My husband and I stayed here with our 19 month old daughter. Before baby we would stay at the Best Western but with a toddler we wanted a bedroom and a living area - since we don't go to bed at 7:30pm - this was perfect.
312 was a very nice condo with a great view of the ocean (even though it's a side condo). You are right on the beach and are on the beach with very few steps. You are 2-3 blocks from the main street with restaurants, stores and games. My toddler walked it no problem. The pool at the condo is small but it is indoors so that's nice.
The only negative I really would say is the elevators kind of moved a little after the door was open. With a toddler it made it hard to wrangle her to wait for the little "adjustment" the elevator seemed to need to make. Nothing that would make me not stay again. -

We enjoyed our condo very much. The rooms were nice and we loved coming in out of the cold and being able to turn on the gas fireplace to quickly warm the room.
We did not like waiting in the cold for the elevators, especially after swimming in the pool. Also, our condo did not have working fans in the bathrooms. That was not good. The good positively won over the problems and we will look forward to staying there another time. -

This was not the first time we have stayed at the Sand & Sea and it won't be the last. The rooms are always very clean and just the right amount of space. We also really like the pet option as love to be able to bring the family dog with us. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed this condo over Labor Day weekend. It is in a great location, right on the beach and promenade, and very short walk to Seaside town activities. The condo was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. The view from the porch is nice, with beach and mountain views. Overall it was clean and comfortable, and we would love to stay here again.

Was very pleased with Sea & Sand. There was a mix-up with our unit, and they resolved it very quickly and satisfactorily. People were very pleasant, and the unit was very nice. Ours was a short stay, but would be especially valuable for longer stays where you planned to prepare several meals in your unit, as the kitchen was well-stocked with basic cooking and dining items.

Seattle, WAA light and comfortable setting
Left on 04/15/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Our partial view of the ocean was lovely and we enjoyed being up high enough to see the waves rolling in. The unit was clean and very light-filled and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked, though a teapot would have been nice.
Our biggest complaint is that the lanai door does not lock. I rather suspect that we are not the first people to notice or comment on this fact. Because the unit is up off the street three floors, it is not as disconcerting as it would be if it were on the first floor, but never-the-less it needs to be fixed.

Left on 12/04/2009 for a stay in November 2009
We've stayed at Sand and Sea at least 3 or 4 times before this stay and have always had nice, clean, well decorated rooms and a good stay. This stay was only marred by the alarm clock in the master bedroom going off loudly at 4:30am and having to stumble around in the dark trying to find the noise and turn it off (we were sleeping in the other bedroom). Needless to say, we couldn't get back to sleep. Irregardless, it was a nice stay in a lovely condo. Thanks

I am sorry about the alarm clock going off so early
in the morning. I will remind the housekeepers to
check the alarm clocks so this will not happen again.

It was an excellent experience. The place is clean and quiet with lots of room. We enjoyed our stay there. It was close to the beach and downtown so we could walk everywhere. Will definitely stay again.
