A group of us ladies take a trip every year and for the past several years have been staying at the Sand and Sea. It started with one room for some and the others were staying elsewhere now we all stay at the Sand and Sea. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown and beachfront. We park our cars and don't have to drive all weekend... Unless we go shopping or sightseeing at another nearby area. Mary is wonderful to work with, very accommodating, if we need anything all we have to do is a call and it is handled right away. The units are clean, we'll stocked, and comfortable. And the view... We love to sit on the balcony and have our morning coffee or evening cocktails.
We love the Sand and Sea!!

Vancouver, WABeautiful ocean view!
Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We have stayed here for years and always enjoy the hospitality of the staff and the fabulous view of the ocean. Furniture needs a little upgrading in this unit, as it is getting pretty shabby, and it is hard to move the big bulky coffee table if you want to sleep in the livingroom and enjoy the ocean all night. Definitly recommend Sand and Sea to all our friends and relatives . .

We have stayed at Sand and Sea 2 other times before this stay. We love the condos here but by far this Unit was the best!!! Three big screen tvs with surround sound hooked up to each one was great!! I took my teenage son and his friend with us and they loved the unit! The kitchen was more than stocked with everything we could possibly need! The Decor was very nice and having a washer and dryer is the only way to go when staying at the beach!!! We went home with all clean clothes! (no sand!!!)Yeah! I would definately reccomend this room and we for sure will be back!!! Thanks again Sand and Sea family for sharing your beautiful condo with us!!!

The room and overall facility was great. The only things I could think of to ensure a more enjoyable stay would be: Add a hot tub, extend the pool hours and fix the elevators (they're way too slow...I mean really).
I would have no problem staying at the Sand and Sea the next time I'm in Seaside.
Thank you.Response from Sand & Sea - 08/11/2012

I wish we had a hot tub too, but we don't have room for one.
The elevators are schedule to be repair in October.

Living and sleeping accommodations were very comfortable and classy. Tv in living area took awhile to learn in order to get surround sound. Very pleasant say overall. We would stay at that unit again.
Service from Peter, the maintenance man, was excellent as were the friendly people in the office. -

Our service was great. We liked our home. The TVs were impressive. I felt a little sorry for my roommate who got stuck in the 2nd bdrm as our bdrm looked so much nicer :) Perhaps a new bed covering or two in that room would spiff it up?

My family and I have been staying at Sand & Sea for years. The condos are great. We favor 402-3 because we love to cook and have everything we need right at our hands. Ocean view is fabulous, Tv's are big and HD. The owner will call and check to see if your needs are being met. Staff is wonderful. I have know Mary, the manager, for years. She is very accommodating and pleasant to work with. There is no hesitation when I have called the office for something. My needs are meant quite quickly. The staff do a wonderful job in keeping things very clean, which drew me to the Condos to begin with. I would recommend to everyone but have a fear that when it comes time for us to go down there will be no availability...so I only recommend to family and friends :)

Portland ORWe Didn't Want To Leave!
Left on 10/21/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This is the fourth (or fifth) time we've stayed in this unit. The view is spectacular! The huge mirrors allow an ocean view no matter which direction you're looking. We were able to relax, and even stay in PJs all day if we wanted to. We were close to restaurants and shops and the promenade is right at our doorstep. We enjoyed being able to cook some meals, or go out to eat. We walked, or sat on the lanai and people watched. The only complaint was the furniture wasn't as comfortable as it might have been, but on the whole it was a wonderful trip. Our biggest problem is we were just settling into the lifestyle, then it was time to come home.

We had 4 adults and 2 children and enough space to be together or split up for "alone time". As always the view is incredible - God was in charge of that. The unit was extra nice - 3 flat screen Tv's and all the comforts of home. We loved the bed in the master - very comfortable and the 2 beds in the guest BR very helpful.

Portland, ORWe think of the Sand & Sea as our home at the coast.
Left on 10/28/2010 for a stay in October 2010
Everyone is so accomodating at the Sand & Sea. Prompt and complete answers to our questions and quick responce time for any request, such as extra coffee, or towels made our stay very comfortable. The view is the biggest selling point! A couple of us aren't able to walk very far, so sitting on the balcony, watching the ocean, breathing the salt air, listening to the surf and the gulls, and of course people watching on the promanade made up for not actually walking on the beach. We didn't make use of the sauna on this trip, but enjoyed the circular pool. It was fun to cook our own meals, or to eat out at one of the many excellent local restaurants. My only complaints have to do with prefering a harder bed, and being confused by all the remotes. Did I mention flat screen tvs in both bedrooms and the living room? The complaint that we all shared was that the time passed too quickly and next time we want to stay longer!

We had a great time even though the weather did not cooperate. Being right on the Prom you can people watch and have a floor to ceiling view of the ocean even while staying in the room. The housekeeping was exceptional, they even did the dishes that I had left in the sink for a later time. The grandkids spent hours in the swimming pool The only criticism that I would have that the cabinets are beginning to show their age, but we will definitely be there next year.

Left on 04/14/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Stayed in this unit in the middle of April and had wonderful weather for the entire weekend. The unit is roomy, 4 adults were very comfortable. Well equipped, we did a dinner for 8 adults and found everything we needed to prepare the dinner. The electronics, TV and sound, were awesome. Very comfortable beds, great showers and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. The unit is older and shows some wear, but nothing that detracted from the stay.Would definitely stay here again...close to the action at the turnaround, but no evening noise.

My family and I had an awesome time. The view from our condo was spectacular. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was just a short walk to Main Street where our kids spent most of their time playing games. The Condo was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our youngest who is in a powerchair to get around on his own without having to carry him from room to room. We will definately make this trip again.

What a great surprise when we walked in the door for the first time and saw a wall to wall view of the ocean!!! The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. One thing to improve though, would be to remove the old rusty chairs on the balcony (or paint them). We can't wait to go back.

Vancouver, WA.Family Birthday Celebration
Left on 05/09/2009 for a stay in September 2008
We stayed for the weekend in September, just after the summer season was over. We were celebrating two family birthdays, and needed accomodations for my son's family and myself. We appreciated the way the rooms were set up as it allowed my granddaughter to have her own bed in her mom and dad's room, and allowed me to have my own room as well. The condo was spacious and clean, and it was wonderful to have a place to stay where we could fix meals when we chose to. The view and proximity to the beach were the main reasons we chose to stay here and we weren't disappointed! We plan to try to go back again this year as the weather was really nice that time of year.

The view and location can't be beat! Right on the beach where we
always have beach fire at least once while staying here. There is
plenty of room in the unit. We often entertain as many as 12 people
for cocktails and dinner. Although it would be nice to have a barbeque. We have visited several other places in Seaside over the
years but none can beat Sand and Sea #402. -

Our two children ages 13 and 16 and my husband and I visited in Novemeber. The property was fabulous, the staff was very friendly and our family is looking forward to the Coast again.
As a family we had chosen to stay through Thanksgiving and were very dissapointed to find out that after we had reserved our suite that the price would almost tripple during the holiday. We did cancel as we were not prepared for the full price! However, we will stay here again. As our children put it "It was the best vacation ever!"
P.S. We did leave a package in our suite and when we called 1 week later they had our package and mailed it to us. VERY HONEST EMPLOYEES!

The Sand & Sea is the only place we stay in Seaside because of the accommodations, the ocean view and the short walk to downtown. Our entire family, including the grandkids never lack for things to do when we make our bi-yearly visits.
The whole atmosphere is so relaxing and serene.
You will definately enjoy your stay. Extra Info: Our favorite place to eat is Norma's Ocean Diner on N. Columbia. Great Chowder and Seafood. -

We have been staying at the Sand and Sea for over 25 years. There are many places to stay in Seaside, but this is always our first choice---it has a prime location, the condos are always clean, well-equipped and well-kept, the staff is friendly and efficient, and you can't beat the view. I always recommend it to my friends, especially if they are with a large family or group---it is great to be able to fit everyone into one space for dinner, games, etc. I can't recommend it highly enough.
