Sherwood, ORLast minute getaway, rainy, great time in the pool.

First time in this room, lost count of number of stays at Sand & Sea. We usually grab one of the rooms on the side, but splurged a little this time. Love the view out the front! This room has 3 beds and 2 sleeper sofas, great for a larger family like mine.

Seattle, WADisappointing condition of the condo
Left on 08/08/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The view of the ocean was fantastic. However, if you choose to stay at the Sand & Sea, ask questions. Make sure the unit you are booking has been recently updated. This particular unit is in very poor condition and needs serious updating. Housekeeping did not do their job either. There was no daily hotel service while we stayed there. The floors were dirty. The unit smelled, and the carpet was badly stained in many places. The beds were uncomfortable too.

Our housekeeping was clearly not up to our normal standards,
and I have shared this information with our housekeeping staff.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I appreciated your
feedback.

PuyallupNot was expecting what we got!!
Left on 06/14/2012 for a stay in June 2012
At first we were supposed to stay in condo 200 that looked very nice and updated but construction was going on so we had to be transfered to 406. We have a 19 month old and 3 yr old and when we got into the very outdated condo with tv cables and wire nest showing everywhere we figured we were in for a long week. It was more stressful in the condo then out because we had to make sure the little ones didn't get into any of the cables or wire chords. The fire place also had the pilot light lit and there was only a screen that was between it and our kids, it only took my three year old an hour before he figured out that the light shitch turns the fire place on (had it disconnected while there). Couches were very uncomfortable. With the construction going on our view was obstructed and the noise was loud during the day so our youngest had a hard time with his naps (had to drive around so he could fall asleep in the car. I would stay here again but not in that condo and I'd make sure there was not any construction going on.

Left on 10/06/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This was our 5th year of staying for one week at Sand & Sea and we love the condos, the Prom, shopping absolutely everything.
Our unit was not the best one we have stayed in (washer was really noisy, items missing from the kitchen, couches need reconditioning). Still who can complain about great weather and watching the ocean day and night from the living and dining room.
The entire staff is excellent and address any issues (that they can take care of) immediately.
Laurie, our housekeeper checked in with us every day. We do miss Pauline at the front desk.
See you next September!Response from Sand & Sea - 10/14/2011

We always stay at Sand and Sea because we love the location. We liked the location of the room and the service was great. However the washer was off balance and was very noisy, and the TV in the master bedroom was missing 2 basic network stations.

Left on 08/07/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our stay was very enjoyable! Awesome view and location. The beds in each room were very comfy. The great staff at check-in were able to let us into our room earlier than expected, so that was really nice. Just a couple of "nit-picky" things to mention: the pull-out sofa beds are probably best just for children, and the clothes washer sounded as if it was going to take off in flight each time we used it. That being said, we were very thankful to be able to do laundry right in our room, which is partially why we booked this particular condo.

The good part first, we all really liked the ocen front living room. But apart from that - the bedrooms, the bathroom, dryer washer etc needs a serious remodelling...

Left on 07/29/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We have stayed in many vacation rentals throughout Washington and Oregon, by far this was one of the best. Very clean, great location and the view and closeness to the ocean beach was more than we could have hoped for. The only thing that could have made this better would have been having a barbeque grill accessible. Other than that we will stay again and reccommend to others that they do the same. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful.

The rooms were great, the view was spectacular and the service was great. The check in personal were very friendly and helpful. (except for the 1 lady at about 9 pm one night who had absolutely no personality, bordering on rude.
The only thing we were disappointed about was that there was no designated time for adult only swimming.
Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning. -

We loved the room. The kitchen stove needs to be updated, but it worked. When people put in new funiture might want to remember that if the cushions are too soft it is very hard for some to get out of. We really enjoyed our stay and will return, but again the only place I could sit was at the table. If Dan wasn't around to pull me up I could not get up. Everyone was so helpful and ready to do whatever they could for us. I was happy to see that they had Christmas Day off. That was a big plus in my book.

Bonney Lake, WAThe view, the town, the beach...what more could you want?
Left on 07/01/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We have stayed at the Sand&Sea at least once every summer for the last 4 yrs. The close proximity to the beach and the beautiful view from the ocean-front condos is why we keep coming back.
The office staff and cleaning staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. We have two small children, so to have a condo vs. a reg. hotel room really suits us much better. We can make our own meals in the fully stocked kitchen, which not only saves $$$, but is also much more convenient.
The condos have two bedrooms, as well as a living room, so when the kids go to bed, hubby & I can enjoy the the rest of the evening in front of the fireplace or on the balcony, listening the to sound of the ocean and enjoying the view.
The Prom, which is a paved walkway that runs along the beach, is right out the door and we usually spend part of the evening walking it and enjoying the sunset, which is often so stunning that as the sun seems to dip into the ocean, everyone along the Prom stops what they are doing and relishes the moment.
This year, we shared our fav vacation place with extended family(14 of us), and rented 3 ocean-front condos. Everyone loved the town and the Sand&Sea.
We love the downtown area. From the beautiful hanging flower baskets to the carousel and arcade, we have spent many hours wandering through the shops and playing there. Our favorites: The toy shop, the Hat shop, and Zingers ice cream.
Also convenient are the outlet stores, movie theatre, and Safeway.
The only negative thing I have found about the S&S is that sometimes the TV remotes don't work...who watches TV when there are so many fun things to do? Maintenance was quick to resolve the issue.
We plan to continue to stay at our home away from home (the S&S) every year when we vacation at Seaside. -

Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in July 2008
The staff at Sand & Sea is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed
in many different units over the years. The ones that have been
updated are always a favorite. The size of the units are great for the
entire family. The best thing about Sand & Sea is the location. We try
to get an ocean view unit and enjoy the deck and view all day. We
spend most of our time outside, on the beach, walking in the town,
golfing and just hanging out. The Sand & Sea is close to everything.
Thanks for all the great memories.
