Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This was a perfect affordable place for my family of four. We had friends in a condo down the hall and it was nice that we had enough room to invite them down to visit. Much better than a hotel room! I loved the big glass windows overlooking the city & beach. My son did leave his Ipod touch in the queen bed that I was hoping would turn up at some point:)

I really like the view up there too and all the space makes it great
for entertaining family and friends. The staff looked for your sons
ipod but did not find anything.

Person at the front desk was very helpfull and I was able to check in early.
The condominium was nice and clean
Location was great just steps away from the beach and town
The first night the room was cold, something wrong with the heater, but next day they came and fix it!!
I will be back next year because I love the place -

My family has stayed at the Sand and Sea over Labor Day weekend for 4 years in a row and every visit has been wonderful. We love the "just like home" amenities and how each unit has its own unique feel. Even the side partial view units have spectacular views.

Left on 07/05/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We rented this unit for a family vacation because it was listed as smoke free and no pets. The unit was clean and no smell of smoke or pets, which is not always the case when booking rentals online.
Location was great; close to the beach and shops, nice clean and heated pool. The unit was very quiet! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans which enabled us to prepare meals. Nice ocean view from side windows and balcony.
The building is older and some things are dated in appearance but overall it was a really nice rental.
Good customer service from Mary from online booking through check in! We would book this unit again. -

I liked the views and the accessibly to all the local entertainment. Great location if you have children. We had 5 teenagers and they all loved the privacy and spaciousness of the rooms. The huge kitchens and large gathering areas.

Seattl, WAA pleasant stay.
Left on 11/20/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The unit was clean comfortable and enjoyable.
The door was not in good shape as far as locking it or closing it flush with the door trim. It made us think that is wasn't closed tight enough.
The unit did not have large dinner plate, they should of had at least 4, better if 6. A couple of the glasses were chipped and in the cupboard.
Add a small TV in the little bedroom it would be nice to have it if children were to stay there.Response from Sand & Sea - 11/23/2011

Thanks for letting me know about the door. I will have
maintenance take care of it. The unit should have a
service for 6 and there should not be any glasses with
chips. -

We enjoyed the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry area, and "great room". (The bedroom tv did leave something to be desired. ) All in all it was a great stay. Already looking forward to next time.

We told the owner about the TV in the bedroom and they are
planning to replace it.

Left on 03/30/2011 for a stay in March 2011
I felt the condo was very nice. It was roomy, clean, and had a fireplace for a warm touch. My daughter loved the pool, it was warm and very fun for her to play in. The beach was very close, just a few feet away. The views were very nice, our condo had a view of the city lights, as well as a corner view of the ocean. The days we were there the weather was very nice. We would recommend this facility to others and we will be back to enjoy it again sometime down the road.

The place overall was great and the view off the balcony was very spectacular. The furniture in the place was very old and out dated, could use some new furnishings. Also the building is very old and run down, needs lots of work but still a great place to stay. The value could also be better!
Response from Sand & Sea - 03/26/2011

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We have just started a construction project to install new windows in the living room and dining room area. Then a new paint job and new landscaping. During this time some of the owners will be updating their condos.

Camas, WASpacious, convenient location
Left on 09/26/2010 for a stay in September 2010
This was our first stay at Sand and Sea and it was recommended by friends who have stayed there for years. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay again. Pros: Very spacious bedrooms and living/kitchen area. Kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace was so cozy. Large balcony with a super view of the mountain range and the beach. We loved the convenient location on the promenade and walking to the shops and restaurants was so great!
Cons: We found the building to be old, the elevators slow, the pool small, and the check-in slow, the office is in a strange location and was hard to find arriving our first night after dark (it's in the underground parking breezeway!). Found chip & pretzel crumbs under the coffee table when we moved it to make room for the kid's inflatable mattress. -

Federal Way, WAHood to Coast Weekend
Left on 09/02/2010 for a stay in August 2010
Hi, check in was easy, and Mary was very friendly. The dishes were dirty, either the dishwasher is broken or the dishes were put away dirty. The view was amazing, considering we weren't in an "ocean view" unit. Location was perfect, not far from town or the beach.
The complex is dated, however the units seem to be in good condition. Our visit was very pleasant. It might have been because of the event going on for the weekend (we weren't aware of the event until arrival), but I thought the prices were high. We would consider staying again.

Left on 08/13/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Loved the Location - right on the Prom and beach.
The appartment that we rent was on one side of the building, on top floor, with views to the South. A little expensive like all lodgging at Seaside this time of year. Clean and has all the necessities. Nice bathrooms.
Loved the way appartment owner used mirrors to enhance the views seen from the living room and the view from balcony.
The only thing I am recommending is updating the furniture mainly in the living room. The couches are a little worn out and TV is really old. Also the TV remote did not work properly, since it was from another TV brand. -

Left on 04/02/2010 for a stay in March 2010
This condo was nice and had a great view. The only problem that we had was the door was hard to open from the inside. The kids couldn't get out and would not have been able to without an adults help. We had to push our door in with all our weight and then force it to unlock. It needs work!

Seattle, WASurprisingly nice
Left on 05/07/2009 for a stay in February 2009
We stayed here for my son's basketball tourney. (Why else go to Seaside in Feb?) The building is not as new as some in Seaside, which was a bit of a turnoff. Butwhen we got inside the unit, the condo had a really nice view for a 'partial' view. Large mirrors in the condo helped the experience. The furnishings are a bit tired, as was the bedding. The heat was a little hard to adjust in the unit. But the location is very convenient to all shops and restaurants and the promenade. So overall it was a good experience, I just think some updates are needed.
