The Silers
PuyallupOur family getaway was much needed and well worth it
Left on 06/08/2013 for a stay in June 2013
Everything that I brought from home to accommodate the family was not needed. Seeing that I have a family of six, I automatically plan ahead and take more than what we need. It seems like I brought everything but the kitchen sink from home to make us comfortable on our getaway. I could not believe how much linen was available, and how many kitchen items was readily available. The condo was so cozy and relaxing, I actually woke up my first night thinking that I was at home in my own bed. (Trust me, this was a first). The beds are so comfortable, and the condo was nice and clean. I was glad that it came with a washer and dryer because when you have a big family, laundry time is a must, no matter where you are. The location was perfect, the kids could walk a couple of blocks over to the arcade or to the beach within a couple of minutes.

Mary and Jeff are awesome!
We go to Seaside a few times every year, usually with friends. They always help us find rooms close together and with enough sleeping arrangements for our large families.
Some rooms are more updated than others, have different ameneties. -

Portland, ORGreat Short Vacation
Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed in the 2 bedroom version of 516 because there was 5 in our party. We have been going to the Sand & Sea for at least 20 years and this updated unit was the best one ever. My wife and I have already decided to go back later this fall/winter by ourselves and we will be staying in 516. We have also known Mary for the better part of those years and as always she was a pleasure to deal with, extremely knowledgeable about every unit, Thank You Mary! You can tell the owners of this unit really care, it has been professionally updated in many areas, well maintained, well stocked and very clean, good job! I would change a few things, get a Blu-Ray player that can access Netflix accounts for those that do subscribe to Netflix, change the two chairs in living room to chairs with armrests and install ceiling fans.

PortlandLovely Room, Dreamy Beds!
Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We just stayed in room 516 and really liked it. The decor was very pleasing and the condo was newly remodeled. The beds were inviting and very comfortable. I slept like a baby and normally it takes me a night to settle in. Not so here. The condo felt roomy and my husband loved the large flat screen in the living room. The only down side is it only has a partial ocean view but there is a lovely mountain view from the living room and you can see the sunrise in the morning. I saw a few oceanfront condos and ours was superior overall. In fact, my sister-in-law is reserving this unit for her next trip as it was so much more pleasing than her oceanfront condo!

Portland, ORAmazing place with a view
Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This place was everything it promised to be. We had an amazing view out the floor to ceiling windows. The living room was so huge it offered comfort for all seven of us to relax and interact with each other. The kitchen had gorgeous granite countertops and plenty of room for storing and preparing food. It also had everything you needed from cookware, utensils, papertowels, dishsoaps, washcloths and hand towels. The dinning room table was spacious and amazing. We were all able to spread out and eat meals together as well as play games at night. The games were also provided. With the huge flat screen Tv's and cable, it offered extra entertainment at night when we weren't quite ready for bed. The bathrooms were emmaculate and fancy. Having two of them helped to keep the showers moving when we came back from the pool or beach. The washer and dryer were a handy and very helpful feature. The master bedroom is extremely nice and the overall layout and decorating of the place made it very cozy. I have told all my friends and this will be the only place I stay from now on!!!

Left on 08/15/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We loved our stay at the Sand and Sea in celebration of our parents 50th anniversary. We had a group of 12 and two rooms. It was a great time had by all. The only real downside felt by most was the need for a fan in the bathrooms and perhaps some freestanding fans for the condos since they don't have aC. We realize that 80-90 degree weather is unusual on the Oregon Coast, however it does happen and it can get quite uncomfortable.

Left on 06/21/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Weekend (Friday to Sunday) stay at Sand and Sea. The 2 bedroom with kitchen was fantastic - space, cleanliness, set up, etc - well balanced with the price. Room was great - ammenities (pool) okay, but our stay - the pool was not important or may have changed our selection.

We had a very good experience staying in room number 516. The person at the desk was very helpful and was eggar to meet our needs. We enjoyed the pool. The room was neat and clean and had every thing we needed for or family to cook and was very comfortable. The location was great and had a small view of the beach which was great. What we liked best is that it was just a short walk to the main part of town. Thank you

The room was redecorated beautifully. Except there were no curtains, which was the only drawback. Other than that everything was perfect. We will be back again next year.

Left on 06/10/2011 for a stay in May 2011
After 17 years of staying first at the Ebb Tide and later the Best Western on the prom at Seaside, we returned for a second stay at The Sand & Sea in May 2011. It's now our first choice for accomodations when staying in Seaside.
Our unit was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The place has a casual, family vibe and the staff is friendly. -

The codo is very nicely remodeled. We were staying there for a basketball tournament and our condo was the nicest one that anyone on our team stayed in. Because of this, both evenings everyone gathered in our room and everyone commented on how nice it was!

Had a great time. Second time we have stayed at Sand & Sea with our children and grandchildren. Great condos for a family. We were in 516-17 this time and the TVs and Blue Ray were new. Remotes were not programmed correctly and we were unable to use the Blue Ray...needs to be corrected. Master Bedroom remote did not work. Only hitch to our stay. We will stay again.

Left on 07/28/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We had an excellent stay at the Sand and Sea resorts in Seaside and were very pleased with the cleanliness, comforts, location and service.
The rooms were spacious and clean and were fully furnished. The kitchen was amply stocked with utensils and the beds were very comfrotable.
The views from the balcony were good as well and we could see the ocean and the mountains. The location of the resort was very convenient and close to the beach and the promenade.
Overall we were highly satisfied with our stay other than a minor convenience of the washing machine not working. However we would still highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again in the future.
