We had a very relaxing time. From the hammock on the front porch, enjoying the beach, or riding our bikes on the trails. It was a perfect get away. The small town atmosphere created a much needed simpler, stress free feeling.

My teenage daugher says it's a happier place than Disney Land! Just a nice slow place in a beautiful setting, with first class service. Loved the home delivery from Modica Market, it was great to have the kitchen stocked when we arrived. Our teenager had so much fun, she did not take time to unpack, can you see it? yep clothes everywhere for 9 days, did mom care? heck no, I am too relaxed and at peace to even mind! Maid service great, food wonderful, sunsets out of this world, very decent spa services, enough shopping to keep the gals happy, bicycles, loved the christian church and beach service by "The Cabana Man".Ocean breeze and nice evening showers reminded me of Hawaii. In fact, I have no desire to take that looong flight to Maui again. Now that says alot.

We drove out from California to stay in Seaside for a week. This cottage was perfect. It is 1/2 a block to the beach, which is so crystal clear, blue, and warm. We loved the location of the house, so close to walk to everything. We also loved riding bikes through the town and Old Seagrove. The porch is perfect with the hammock. My only surprise was that this is not really a 2 bedroom with a loft, but rather a 1 bedroom with two lofts. This only mattered to us because we had a four year old, so once we put him to bed, in the upstairs loft, he could still hear us and see the lights on. We had to either go out on the porch or into our bedroom which for us defeats the purpose of renting a house. The house was in perfect condition, beautifully decorated and clean. We'd love to return some day!

The cottage was just as described. We stayed with our 3&5 yr old. It was perfect. Master on main & 2nd bedroom is a loft where they slept. They were also able to maneuver the ladder & use the play area overlooking living room. Kitchen is small but we didn't cook so we were fine & were able to store our stuff. Nice laundry. Small shower stall only - no bath but we had no problems. Plenty of hot water. Everything was comfortable. The screen porch w/ hammock was very nice since we had a lot of rain, boo hoo! Very close walk to beach (1-2 min.) & same for main town area! Perfect location. We biked to both pools also & it was very close. I would defiantly stay here again!

The location is awesome!! Everything was nice about the home. The living area was roomy but the bathroom is tiny. The house was clean with the exception of the sheets not being changed on one of the beds(Yuk!). No towels were given until the day after we arrived. There was an issue with the free bicycles that came with our package. This did not stop us from having a great time.

Some upgrading and repairs were needed in the bathroom but overall it was wonderful. Convenient to everything and plenty of room. Great price too. I will definately keep this place in mind next time I'm in Seaside.

It is interesting that we get this request today. If you will check your records you will see that we were not able to stay in this home. We arrived on 10/20 to find Savannah Street 100% torn up. This includes the sidewalks on both sides of the street. In fact, there was a road grader right smack in front of Bit of Heaven. The only other house that were occupied on that street were the 1st houses on both sides of the street (ocean side.) Each end of the street was blocked by trucks and other machinery as they worked to replace the bricks in the street. We immediately called and were able to get a full refund but what really amazed us is that nobody at Southern Resorts knew about this road work. The workers told us it had been going on for 4 weeks. The nice lady who answered the phone advised us that somebody had just checked out of this house 2 days previously and had mentioned no problem. Really? That is very odd since you could not get to the house... We were offered another house in Seagrove. That was a nice offer but we booked a house in Seaside- as we have for the past 5 years. In fact, we stayed in this very house in July of 2008. Southern Resorts told us they had no other property in Seaside. So we ended up booking a nice house on E. Ruskin with another realty company. We do appreciate the full refund, but your company 'not knowing' that the entire street was gone was poor business. Thank you- Tim and Cindy Massey

The house was very sweet and somewhat clean. The shower curtain was not clean though. And it was a shock to not have an icemaker. I think the kitchen was very difficult. We have stayed in studios with better functioning kitchens. Size is not the issue, it is just poorly planned. All that said it was really a cute place. We had a little misunderstanding when checking in but thanks to Danica (sp) it was all taken care of. She did a lovely job of calming me down when I was upset. We do love Seaside and always vacation on 30a.
