Imperial, Missouribeautiful area and beaches, nice play for a couple
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012
My husband and stayed here for a couple days without our kids. The size is perfect for 2 people. Since it is only one bathroom I would not recommend for families with older children. Seaside is a beautiful town with a lot of great shops and restaurants. It is kind of expensive but I am sure it is to keep up with the nice atmosphere. I thought that this cottage could use a little updating and extra cleaning. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the base that the bed sat on looked like it needed to be vacuumed because there was some loose hair around it. I wiped up the hair and everything else was fine. It the furniture was updated it would be great. Overall a wonderful stay and I would stay again and recommend it.

Morrisville, North CarolinaGreat Honeymooner's Cottage
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012
A very cozy cottage, perfect for a vacationing couple. No more than 2 people can be here comfortably though. We spent our honeymoon here and had a lovely time. Literally across the street beach access was perfect. We ate out for meals the whole time, which you might need to do since the kitchen can't cook more than one or two things at a time. Nothing fancy, but perfect for the beach, since you are outside most of the time.

St. Louis, MOVery cute and relaxing
Left on 04/21/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Margarita Days was very cute and in a great Seaside location. It was great to be so close to the shops and walking distance to the beach. The house was very clean, quiet and relaxing. Having dishes and towels available was great but I was surprised that no paper towels or toilet paper was provided. Also no soap or any cleansers were there to help clean up after cooking. I'd definitely stay here again!

We(two of us) especially liked the Seaside community. There were not a lot of other rentals in the area for such a reasonable price. We liked sitting upstairs and enjoying the view. It was a bit jarring, though, to open the front door and walk smack into the bed. The bathroom was right off the bedroom. That was fine for just the two of us, but if more people had stayed there, it would have meant that the others would have had to walk through the bedroom to get to the one bathroom. The small kitchen area was well stocked- no need to bring your own supplies. The telephone went out during our stay, but was quickly repaired and management checked back to make sure of it. Quick walk to the beach, where, despite the unseasonable cold, we spent a good deal of time. We will look for a roomier place next year, but were pleased with our time at Margarita Days.

Atlanta, GaA very nice cottage, but a few issues
Left on 09/29/2009 for a stay in September 2009
Location was fabulous. A few things....tall folks will hit their head on the extremely low shower ceiling-just something that would have been nice to know beforehand. The housekeeping crew left dish washing machine soap and there is no dishwasher - regular dish soap would have been nice since you require dishes be washed at checkout. Bathroom mirror is awkwardly located on the wall to the left of the sink which makes its difficult to use unless you stand between the toilet and the sink top. Bathroom exhaust fan is needed in summer months because its too hot to open windows.

Left on 08/07/2009 for a stay in July 2009
It was so wonderful to check in a clean place with everything we needed close to the beach. Although check-in was busy, the girls at Garrett Realty checking people in were quick, knowledgable and helpful. I loved having the washer and dryer! We stayed for a week and had a very relaxing vacation...wish it could have been a month! The ONLY complaint that I would have is the lack of a TV in the bedroom. Thank you for providing such a nice place to stay during our visit in Seaside.

Truly enjoyed our stay. We had a lot of rain. A TV in the bedroom would have been nice. Very short walk to the beach and a lot of great placed for the kids to ride bikes. We would definetly stay there again, reasonably priced for Seaside.

The Villages, FLNo complaints!!!
Left on 05/15/2009 for a stay in May 2009
No complaints...unit was fine.
Suggestions...
(1) install a small flat screen TV on wall in bed room.
(2) you would never find this unit on Tupelo St. It is located on "Rosewalk". -
Disappointed
Canton, GeorgiaOnly big enough for 2
Left on 04/19/2009 for a stay in April 2009
This property is not fit for 4 people. The convertable sofa was dirty and in disrepair. There are no window coverings in the upstairs room so anyone sleeping on the convertable sofa will be up at the crack of dawn. The stove burners are not level so you cannot cook on all 4 burners. In general the cottage was dirty and run-down.

We are very surprised by these comments as it's our first house complaint. Most reviews are very positive and the small, cozy cottage is obviously not large enough for all families of 4 people. The furnishings, while not new, are comfortable and have been guest approved by most who have stayed there. Carole- Rental Manager, Garrett Realty Services

Memphis, TNCute place!
Left on 04/09/2009 for a stay in March 2009
Overall, this is a charming place. Just enough room for two! Our experience was wonderful, with one exception. There were hundreds of bees nests in the ground in the yard right outside the door. We could hardly get in and out of the place without being swarmed. We called and put in a request for maintenance and all we received back was a flyer telling us that there was nothing they could do about them. Other properties that we walked past didn't have this issue. It appeared to be a lack of lawn maintenance. We spend about $30 on our own products to try to eliminate some of them, but it didn't work very well.

The bees mentioned by the guest are "miner bees" and the pest control company said they have no stingers. However they are crutial in pollinating the earth and need to be protected. We are so sorry that they were actively visiting the flowering bushes outside the house. We hope you'll return for a future visit at another time of the year. Left on 04/02/2009 for a stay in March 2009
My husband and I stayed at the cottage during a very cold spell so we spent good deal of time indoors. The cottage is perfect for two people or two adults and a small child. We tried the sofa bed only because there was no TV down in the Bedroom area and we like to lounge and watch TV when on vacation. The sofa bed is past its wear date and we gave up trying to get comfortable on it. The unit is a great location to both the Beach and to the Seaside Common area and having access to the Exercise Room was a plus. Despite the weather, we had a lovely time and I would stay there again.

Nashville, TNA great place to stay in Seaside!
Left on 03/30/2009 for a stay in March 2009
This was my third time to stay at Margarita Days, and as always, it was a great experience. It is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the town center of Seaside, and just a simple walk across the street to the beach. It's a cozy and comfortable place to stay, and such an incredible deal for renting within Seaside. I will hope to come back to stay at Margarita Days many times in the future!
