Located in Columbia City on the LINK light rail line there is quick and easy access to Downtown and Sea-Tac Airport. We were very happy with the accommodation and amenable host. We were also allocated a parking space. 6 or so steps up to main door and another flight of steps up to some of the flats.

Our family just returned from a stay at the Shirley Marvin. We were confident before we arrived that it would be a nice place. We were not at all disappointed. The apartment was very nicely decorated and had everything that we would want while on vacation. The neighbourhood was very nice with good restaurants and two good coffee shops within a stones throw. The location was close enough to the airport that getting there didn't take long but also was far enough from it that we didn't hear any of the traffic from SeaTac. There was rail transit a short distance away. If driving, it was a fairly short drive to downtown Seattle. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. I am sure we will be going back.

We had a great time at Shirley Marvin as it was very close to our son and his american wife and their new baby (our first grandchild). The premises were easy to find and Rob was very helpful in dealing with us from abroad. The premises were well appointed with cooking facilities in the flat and laundry facilities in the basement. Very clean with a particularly comfortable bed with good quality linen. Plenty of towels and free wifi. Very convenient to some superb eateries nearby.

We spent a terrific week at The Shirley Marvin. It was comfortable, clean and convenient. It combines the best of vintage and modern living. Columbia City is a wonderful Seattle neighborhood - great restaurants and shopping plus the best little espresso bar right next door! The Shirley Marvin met our needs perfectly and helped us celebrate our daughter's graduation!

We travel from the UK to Seattle twice a year to visit our son and family and the Shirley Marvin apartments provide luxurious, comfortable and impeccably clean accommodation. The apartments have been stylishly refurbished and whilst retaining a 30's character have all necessary mod cons. There is great emphasis on detail and it is so nice on arrival from another country, to find basic provisions and soap and shampoo etc. The apartments are very close to public transport into the city centre. Complementary Wi Fi is available and Columbia City has real character with coffee shops and restaurants.We love visiting there and it really is like home from home.
