Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in May 2013

KatyNice but left me disappointed
Left on 08/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My husband and our two duaghters stayed here in July. The apartment is spacious, clean and the decor is really nice and for that I would give them a 5 but to receive a 5 overall, everything would have to be excellent and this place simply isn't. They haven't considered the needs of a traveler.
My biggest peeve is they didn't have any shampoo!! Even the cheapest hotel/motels supply shampoo for their guests! Why would you have a famous decorator style the apartment and not have shampoo! Even a large bottle that multiple guests could use would be very affordable!
Coffee was offered but no sugar or creamer...only artificial sweetner. Once again, a place that is rated 5 would have this covered.
The kitchen is well stocked and you could wash dishes, if there was some dishwashing liquid! Of course, you could put everything into the dishwasher, they did have detergent for that but you can't clean your hands or hand wash anything.
So, if they don't plan on having this stuff available, they should let the renters know before they show up...especially the shampoo and the coffee. Who wants to arrive late and discover on the first morning they don't have shampoo or sugar for their coffee. Ugh.
The place is very bright as mentioned by other renters and that is a problem in the mornings because the sun rises early and if you want to sleep in a little late, too bad. The window coverings should be such to allow the guest the ability to control the light. The shade in the bedroom is woven and doesn't do anything to darken the room and the living room is incredibly bright at 6am in the summer.
That brings me to the inflatable mattress in the sofa...my daughters sleep on sleeper sofas everywhere from our relatives to hotels and this one was no different than the others. I laid on it briefly and didn't think it was anything special. I read the reviews about it being inflatable and I looked for the mechanism that makes it inflate but I didn't see anything on the mattress. Maybe some instructions would help guests get the most out of the upgraded mattress.
One of the most valuable items when traveling is an information binder...this place doesn't have one so I had no idea where the laundry room was or how to get into it. The bus line comes close but I didn't know which one to use...that could be so easy for them to compile for the guests. We did figure it out but we ended using one that was farther away. The instructions for the mattress could be in the binder! Also, there is a big box with a hose going to the window, I'm assuming it's an airconditioner of some sort. Not all guests are going to know what it is and how to use it! Like me, I live in an area that requires central air & heat. So, how about some information on that thing too.
I asked about the information book when I called to ask inquire where the laundry room is located and her reply was that the place is so new they haven't gotten an info book together. This apartment has been rented for 4 months...they should have it done by now, they should have had it on Day 1...that's what you would expect at a 5 star rated place.
I think this place has the potential to be a 5 overall but I can only give it a 3 based on my experience. -

I enjoyed my stay at this apartment. I lived in Seattle for 10 years, and I was back in town for a 2 week visit. The location couldn't have been more perfect. The view is pretty decent. The place was clean, modern, and every single thing I needed was in the kitchen. I was surprised at just how stocked it was. The only problem I had was the parking. I had to stay in a makeshift space, in which I had to move the car once a week for a few hours. This turned out not to be a big deal, as I was out on those days anyway. Renting this apartment was easy breezy, and I will reach out to the owner again when I'm in Seattle later in the year.

Olathe, KSOur new "home" in Seattle!
Left on 04/26/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We spent 4 nights in this apartment, and we felt right at home, right away. The rental agent met us at the property and gave a short orientation along with the keys. Everything is new and of very good quality ... finishes, furniture, fixtures, kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. I prepared two elaborate seafood dinners in the apartment and I found everything I needed in the well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. There are lots of windows and light, and a decent-sized balcony with a partial view of the Space Needle. The neighborhood was relatively quiet, and we slept well.
We found a huge grocery store just a couple of blocks away, and just beyond that were many restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and specialty stores. Busses went right by, but we never used them. But be aware that if you want to go downtown, to the market or Space Needle, you'll probably want to take a bus or a cab.
This apartment is a great place to stay if you want to really experience and enjoy the Seattle lifestyle. I'm sure we'll be back! -

My husband and I stayed at this apartment while on business in Seattle. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in because the unit was even nicer than the online photos depicted. The living room furniture was very comfortable and the unit was more spacious than expected. The kitchen and bathroom are gorgeous and the entire place was spotless clean! The best thing about this property however is its location. We were within walking distance to many of the fun cafes and shops in Capitol Hill. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and we would stay at this property again!

We stayed here for a girls weekend in Seattle. Each year we choose a different city to visit and this year it was Seattle's turn. This apartment is stunning! Of course, since everything is new, it is clean and perfect (I think we were like the 2nd people to stay there). The owner thought of everything we would need for a great stay. The bed was just right with great quality sheets. We flipped a coin for who had to stay on the sofa bed, but it was very comfortable, too with an inflatable mattress. We appreciated that they provided coffee and a bottle of wine.
We didn't have a car and didn't need one. Capitol Hill is a great neighborhood for walking, shopping and eating. This apartment is also close to downtown, only about a 15 minute walk to the Pacific Place.
I think this apartment sets a new standard for accommodation for our girls' weekends.

This is a brand new apartment in Capitol Hill. It is clean, very well furnished and centrally located. There is plenty of natural light and we could see the Space Needle from the balcony. We prefer furnished apartments to hotels and must have stayed in over a dozen. This would have to rank at the top of our list for comfort, cleanliness, furnishings and location. The only potential downside is you have to walk up two floors--this wasn't an issue for us as we're big walkers but may be for others. It faces the street, but it's in a residential neighborhood and we didn't notice any street noise.
We've visited Seattle before but never stayed in Capitol Hill. It's a vibrant neighborhood with a mix of young hipsters, old hippies and professionals. We enjoyed walking up Broadway and to Volunteer Park. We ate at the Kingfish Cafe, which has delicious southern food. There's a great coffee shop a few blocks away and plenty of choices besides Starbucks. Just wish we had more time to explore!
Lori went out of her way to be helpful and we appreciate her letting us check in early. We will be back! -

Victoria, BC, CanadaWhat a perfect place - brand new modern comfortable
Left on 03/11/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This is a brand new apartment and we were lucky to be the first ones to stay here. As you would expect, everything was spotless because it had never been used before.
The decor is gorgeous, very modern but comfortable. We stayed with our daughter who slept in the hide-a-bed, which she said was very comfortable with a mattress that inflates so it is more like a bed. The king bed (a real bonus!) was also very comfortable with crisp white sheets. We loved the view of the Space Needle from the balcony. The only downside is the shower door was not yet installed so they set up a temporary shower curtain. This was fine except it was hard to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet. The shower door is supposed to be installed soon.
The location is great. We decided not to rent a car because the ad said it wasn't necessary. This is true with the apartment so close to Broadway Street and many bus stops close by. We highly recommend Volunteer Park, which is ten minute walk. Emp is worth seeing and of course, the Pike Place Market is a must see. We caught the bus to the Pike Place Market and walked back to the apartment. The bus ride was only about 10 minutes and we caught it about a block from the condo (bus route #14). The walk back was uphill and took about 30 minutes, helping us to work off the dungenous crab and clam chowder we had for lunch. I would recommend walking there and catching a bus back! I think Seattle has the best Seafood in the world! We've had a great time in the "Emerald City" and this is a beautiful apartment.
We would stay here again and can recommend it to others.
