Welcome to our adorable Craftsman guest cottage! It's located in the lovely, quiet, close-in neighborhood of Phinney Ridge. This seperate cottage was built in the early 1900's and has been remodeled extensively. The kitchen is well stocked with a built in dishwasher, range, refer, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, Calphalon pots and pans, herbs and spices, oils and vinegars. For those who like to cook, Trader Joes is a short distance away along with great local grocery stores less than 5 minutes. We loved this place! Located in a quiet walkable neighborhood, the cottage overlooks the owner's beautiful garden. This beautifully maintained and decorated unit has a well stocked kitchen, high quality 100% cotton linens and towels, a comfortable bed, and cofortable funiture and everything is eat off the floor sparkingly clean!! We were welcomed with fresh flowers, juice, coffee and breakfast cookies to get us started in the morning. The cottage is located in the owner's backyard but is situated so that both the cottage and it's outdoor spaces (a covered porch and a sunny patio) are quite private. There are lots of great restaurants just a few blocks away, we enjoyed a breakfast at the Phinney Market on Kate and Cathy's reccommendation and also stopped at the pie shop, which is way too close for comfort if you know what I mean! Many other choices for us to try on future trips. Convenient to public transportation, minutes to downtown or the U of W, 2 blocks to the zoo...this cottage is an excellent value.
