The house was in a terrific location. The neighborhood was great. Easy access to downtown Seattle and to the other neighborhoods. The house was perfect for the two of us. We felt like we were at home.

We stayed at this house for a week in early February. Although it was chilly in the season in Seattle, staying in this cozy house gave us a lot of pleasure. Magnolia is a very beautiful area and quite close to downtown and other attractions in Seattle.

Left on 12/06/2012 for a stay in November 2012
The Sea by the Pine Cottage was absolutely beautiful in the fine collection of details of the custom work built into the home. The marble in the kitchen and bathroom brings this home into a 5 star experience. The ample windows allows for viewing the park like setting on the exterior of the cottage. What a lovely and perfect experience for relaxation.

Left on 11/17/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My first stay at the Pine "n" Sea was in May of 2010. I spent a month at this special residence it was my haven while working long hours away from home. The space is very efficient and beautifuly decorated,I love to cook and the kitchen made me feel at home,I must admit I have coppied many of the owners design ideas and brought them to life in my home the beautiful master bath for one. The Magnolia Village has everything one could need,I have returned to the Pine "N" Sea twice since my first stay and the home is beautifully maintained. Brian at Sea to Sky has always handled everything perfectly and professionally.

Kerrville, TX, United StatesA great week at the Magnolia Pin "N" Sea Cottage
Left on 11/08/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We had a great week at this home in Magnolia. The house is conveniently located to the village of Magnolia. The back yard is a lovely place to sit and relax with coffee in the morning. This is our second visit to this home and we look forward to returning again. The only drawback is the gas stove in the kitchen. The stove has a gas smell that permeates the house. A window opened a bit and a scented candle helped with this issue.
Response from Sea to Sky Rentals - 11/08/2012
Manager
Hello Stephen! Thank you so much for taking time to review your stay at Pine N Sea. I am so glad you enjoyed your time there and plan to return! I appreciate you bringing the gas smell to our attention. This is the first we've heard of it and will definitely send someone out to take a look. It's highly possible that a pilot light is out and needs to be re-lit. Please keep in mind that we are always just a phone call away, and available 24 hours, if you encounter anything at all that impacts your stay at one of our properties. We look forward to having you stay with us again!

We LOVED the Magnolia Pine 'N' Sea Cottage. This was an excellent property. Located in a very nice neighborhood with many small businesses within walking distance. Very close to downtown Seattle and other prominent areas that we wanted to visit. The house was beautifully decorated, many amenities. We are modeling our retirement home after it!

The stay was a breeze. The property was equipped with all the amenities. The kitchen is smooth and the garage to home access is clutch for rainy Seattle. The home is a short 10min drive to Downtown Seattle. The master bathroom is fantastic. Honestly, this has more value than staying at a downtown hotel. You have to check it out.

Left on 10/08/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The cottage was so charming, we loved sitting by both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and enjoying the sweet little neighborhood! Our only complaint is that buses were not as frequent as we would have liked, so we ended up[ renting a car. If you want to get away from the city, this is a perfect spot!
Response from Sea to Sky Rentals - 10/08/2012

Hello Audrey! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review of your stay. I am so glad you were able to enjoy the property as well as the neighborhood! I had the good fortune to find this vacation rental for a week of work doing recording of spoken word and music in Seattle. The home provided a quiet and thoughtful space for writing and reviewing compositions. The location was safe as well as breathtaking. I began each day with a run along Magnolia Boulevard looking out at the water and then on to Discovery Park. The property included everything you could need or want. I will return to this place again and again.

We had a delightful stay on Magnolia. The cottage was beautiful - we especially loved the outdoor fireplace and garden. It was just lovely. There was everything you could possibly need to cook a lovely dinner. The bedroom and bathroom was luxurious. Why would you ever want to stay in a hotel when you could spend your vacation days in a home away from home that is perfect in every way?

Although this rental period was in the winter and the weather was cold/rainy, this cottage in Magnolia made our stay in the Seattle area unforgettable. This is a great neighborhood and a well-cared for cozy and romantic home. It is a modern upgraded place which is kept very clean throughout. Like others, the only downside of this place is the small bathtub but definitely a place i would return to in the future if possible.

Lovely, lovely cottage. Photos are true to what the house is like. We had a great time here. Close to everything but in a quiet Magnolia neighborhood. We could walk for dinner, coffee, bakery, clothes and grocery shopping. 15 minutes max to downtown and surrounding activities. Cottage is stocked well, comfy bed, wonderfully decorated. Was too cold to enjoy the yard when we were there but they have it beautifully set up to do so. We were in Seattle for medical reasons and it was such a gift to come home to this warm, wonderful, cozy home. We will stay here again and again. Highly recommend this property!!

What a great home. Not only was it spotless, updated with high quality appointments and very comfortable for my husband and I to sleep there and to host Christmas dinner for our children that live in Magnolia, but the location is superb being right in Magnolia village. My wife and I chose this place because of the great price and great location in Magnolia Seattle. It was a very cozy house, the kitchen was kind of small but we didn't necessarily use it to cook much other than brunch . The garage for the car that we rented
was a lifesaver. If in Seattle again, would definitely try to book this place again. -

This Pine and Sea Cottage was immaculate, with top-notch furnishings and appliances, and a beauty of a place. We loved walking to Starbucks every morning which was close to us, and in the village of Magnolia, and really enjoyed their local farmers' market
on Saturday. And having a large park with playing fields and a community swimming pool within walking distance was an extra plus. We could also walk to Magnolia Blvd. which goes along Puget Sound and has a gorgeous view of Seattle Needle and the ocean. We
had a fabulous time here and hope to rent it again next summer! I would highly recommend it to anyone. -

This is a wonderful place to stay for a while. It is in the Magnolia neighborhood so it is away from the center of Seattle but not too bad. It is walking distance to the Magnolia Village with shops and restaurants. A wonderful grocery store is within 5 minutes drive. The garage was difficult for me to get the rental car into because of the narrowness of the alley. But I was able to park on the street with little problem. The city bus stops across the street if you want to use that.

Having also stayed at this property two months earlier, I was somewhat disappointed this visit to find that the outside landscaping was not in the same excellent condition that it was during my last visit. The rose bushes needed serious deadheading, the lawn needed cutting and there were several dead bushes in the backyard. On our last day in the house the gardener came to mow the lawn during our stay on the property. Perhaps lawn and yard care should be accomplished after check-out before the next guest checks in at 4:00 pm? We were not comfortable being outside for our morning coffee while the outside garden clean-up was in progress. I would definitely stay at this property again, and hopefully management will address these small issues.

Portland, ORCharming Little Cottage
Left on 07/13/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This small house was cute and charming for 2 people, but definitely small. It's decorated in a friendly but not always comfortable way (the bed is nice but the couch isn't). It's off the beaten path, in a cute neighborhood. The garage was short and narrow, off the back alley, and a parking challenge. The most significant issue we had was an allergy flareup on arrival; likely some prior resident had cats in the house. Quiet neighborhood - except for the bus stop 30 feet outside the bedroom's walls. Oh, and the tub in the pictures is half-sized (i.e. about 3 & 1/2 feet long); a long soak wouldn't be possible for an adult.
