The view and the Master Floor were perfect. More than perfect. The telescope in the master was high end and I enjoyed it very much, The water fall faucet and fireplace in the master was relaxing. The lap pool in the basement was set at 102 and was used as a hot tub by my son and friends. I have to say the kitchen is a bit dated (counters, floors, microwave) but everything else was very enjoyable. I would stay here again. I use SeatoSky for my Seattle visits and would highly recommend their service.

We spent 5 enjoyable days in the house over the Christmas holiday. We specifically picked this house to sleep 3 couples (and a dog)and a public area large enough to cook and entertain 10. It worked great. Dining area comfortably seats 8, 2 more seats at the kitchen bar. House is well equipped, didn't need to buy any utensils. Washer/Dryer was great. Speaker system was surprisingly useful.
The house dates to mid-20's. A significant amount of money has been spent in the past decade to update. Kitchen is very functional, a little dated. 2nd floor has been converted to fully equipped, high-end master suite with spectacular view of the city. The toilet location is unique(see other reviews)but not a dealbreaker. Bedroom 2 is roomy and convenient. Bedroom 3 is tight but functional.
Street parking was not an issue.

In general we were very satisfied with this property. The only reservation I would have is that it would be an improvement if the upstairs bathroom had a door for the toilet. I am not overly modest but it does make for somewhat of a hassle to have to make reservations before going to the bathroom in order not to be caught sitting on the toilet when another person comes up the stairs. Also, the ice machine leaks and should be repaired. Otherwise, this is a beautiful property and the management company did an excellent job!

Everything was perfect, Had a small problem with the garbage, City never picked up the garbage from the prior week so it was overflowing and we had no where to put our garbage but we found a space inside that was perfect so in the end it all worked out.

This is a lovely rental property in a great location with decent amenities, but it was not cleaned well at all. The floor was filthy: on our 1st day there, I used a wet paper towel to clean an obvious spot and the paper towel became completely black. It made us feel that the rest of the house was only superficially cleaned and "sanitized." The management company did refund 50% of the housekeeping fee, but I had to contact them twice to get a response. The owner has a nice property, but the housekeeping is poor.

The home was very comfortable. The master suite was beautiful. The location was close to the water and both Fremont and Wallingford night spots were easily within walking distance.

This was a great property. While the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous and spacious, it does lack any and all privacy. We also rented his property for the pool. While I understood it was a resistance pool, we have a 7 year old who loves to swim. The pool was not heated and it appeared the pump was not working as water was dirty and almost "black". While the realty company did try and respond to this and another issue, the pool was not ale to be used. Finally, parking is a problem.

The spacious layout of the upstairs bedroom does not allow the same privacy as some of the other rooms. Your perspective is appreciated and will be taken into consideration as we talk to future guests about the property. Thank you for bringing the issue of the pool to our attention and allowing us to address it during your stay. I apologize that despite the prompt attention, you were not able to enjoy the benefits of a resistance pool during your stay. Since Wallingford is an urban neighborhood, parking can be a bit tricky at times. While it's not always a "parking friendly" neighborhood, Wallingford offers convenient bus routes and walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, a movie theater and of course coffee shops! Please keep in mind that we have 35 beautiful properties throughout Seattle. All guests receive a 5% discount and we would love to have you stay with us again!

We stayed at "Cityscape" for 7 nights in June for our daughters graduation for University of Washington. Property was absolutely perfect! Great location, views of lake and downtown Seattle were breathtaking! The home was well furnished. The pull out sofa they talk about is in the master bedroom.. not so convenient. We did not use the pool in basement level, the water was too cold (we couldn't find how to raise the temp) We had a total of 6 people and we were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!!

The house was exceptional except for maybe the no doors on the upstairs bathroom. However, the view over Lake Union and downtown makes up for this. The management was very accomodating to our families needs. The kitchen was great for cooking and we prepared many meals here. Great week-end and so much better than a hotel!

The master suite was beautiful with fantastic views, but there are no doors on the bathroom or bedroom, so there is no privacy. The house does not work for a group because of lack of privacy and small 2nd bedroom and tiny 3rd bedroom. Lots of things were broken - kitchen faucet and 2 different blinds. We had to call twice about the faucet. Front door keypad lock was kind of difficult to use - we had to call to get in when we arrived. However, the on-call person was very helpful and arrived quickly whenever we called her.

Great house, great location, gorgeous view of the Seattle skyline and the fireworks on New Year's Eve! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bathroom part of the upstairs master suite. The bathroom lacked privacy from the rest of the upstairs suite. At the very least we suggest a door or perhaps a curtain be installed in the toilet area to shield it from the rest of the upstairs.

Seven of us, from three different families, stayed in this lovely home for a total of four days. We were comfortable and relaxed. I would suggest this property to everyone. The location was excellent and safe. The view is beautiful. I would not hesitate to stay in this home again if our party would be this large.

A lot of steep stairs. Icemaker didn't work properly. AC unit also kept shutting down. Sorting of garbage was unexpected and some of the instructions were not very clear. We had plastic cups and plates and were not sure if those were recyclable (they are not at our house). We ended up taking most of the garbage home with us to avoid the possiblity of mistakes. These were really fairly minor things, and some of the problem was our stress level. We were there for the wedding of our son and hosted a rehearsal dinner at the house. Overall it was a great property.

We really enjoyed CityScape and Seattle! The house is beautiful and well maintained. This was a great location for Seattle sightseeing with easy access to downtown area (across 99/Aurora Aves)and to areas north and south of Seattle on I-5. The openess of the upstairs was slightly awkward, but, nothing we couldn't get past. Our group consisted of 2 parents and 2-3 young adult sons, who don't enjoy sharing beds and don't always "knock" before coming up the open stairs to the master suite. The resistance pool was nice, but, I personally, would've enjoyed an outdoor hot tub on the (enlarged) 2nd floor deck! Just dreaming.... We would definitely stay here again, as long as the sleeping arrangements worked out (2-3 couples).

Great neighborhood with interesting restaurants, book store, yoga, chocolate--what else to you need? The house was perfect for 5 adults. Artful, comfortable and the view of downtown cannot be beat. A quiet street but quick access to other fun Seattle neighborhoods.
