The owners of this property were absolutely exceptional! Why pay a crazy amount of $ to stay in a small hotel room when you can save some $ for the city and stretch your legs. Pay for the rear parking & rent a compact car. Your in a big city and a compact car helps a lot. Neighborhood is beautiful with close access to Safeway grocery, banks, resturants, antique stores & many other local immenities. Only 10 min. from Pike Market Place and waterfront. The owners take great pride in providing you such a nicely decorated property that will put a smile on your face and wallet. Thanks, Madison and we will see you again for next time!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cottage in June of this year and it was perfect. The location was great with several restaurants and bars nearby as well as the public stop.
The Cottage is absolutely adorable and so comfortable...Madison and Mark have it perfectly equipped for guests. We moved right in for the week and loved the full size kitchen. If you get a chance - have a drink at Tavern Law and grab happy hour oysters at anchovies and Olives - you won't regret it! We hope to visit again in the future. -

The Capitol Cottage was fantastic. It was really clean and very well set up with a super comfortable bed and couch and a full size washer and dryer but what we appreciated most was the privacy. Being in our own little home made it easy to truly relax...silence for an afternoon nap and no worries if you want to turn the movie up late at night...a luxury we don't even enjoy in our apt at home :) The area is fantastic with great restaurants and shops just a few blocks away. We especially enjoyed the beautiful conservatory (which is free to get into) at Volunteer Park just up the street. The back yard was really cute and even though it was cold outside we did utilize the grill. The owners aren't kidding about the driveway being narrow, but after driving around the skinny streets of Seattle it seems to be par for the course. They were very accommodating with our late check out request and didn't charge us extra for staying into the afternoon. We will definitely return.

This was a great find...located right in the heart of Capitol Hill (between the broadway and 15th neighborhoods), quiet, comfortable, and super well kept/clean. We really enjoyed grabbing a coffee and walking through volunteer park and the variety of amazing restaurants nearby.
If you are driving the alley can be a bit narrow, but not a problem.
