Just blocks from Seattle's stunning Puget Sound, this impressive 2 bedroom, 1 bath condominium is the perfect vacation or business rental for up to 6 discriminating travelers.
This property is managed by Seattle Oasis Vacation Rentals. We are a family owned business, and work everyday to redefine your vacation rental experience. Your satisfaction, as our guest, is our goal.
Blocks from Seattle's stunning Puget Sound, this impressive 2 bedroom, 1 bath condominium is the perfect vacation rental or business rental for up to 6 discriminating travelers. Few vacation rental condos can match the amenities you'll enjoy at this convenientl...y and luxuriously outfitted apartment in the heart of Downtown Seattle's happening Belltown district, and proudly presented by Seattle Oasis Vacations.
Convenient to CenturyLink Field, the Safe (Safeco Field), Museums, shopping, nightlife and the convention center, the MODA building is just blocks from Puget Sound and the Waterfront Shops, not to mention all the shops and restaurants in Belltown. Seattle's famous Space Needle is just blocks away, as is The Pike Place Market!
Tastefully furnished and decorated, guests enjoy wireless internet throughout, 2 flat screen televisions and some of the most breathtaking views of the city, mountains, from the rooftop BBQ Deck. A complete kitchen makes entertaining easy and convenient. Included are hotel mattresses and luxurious bedding. This is among the most comfortable private vacation rental properties on offer in the entire Seattle market. Included with this condo are private secure parking and a fully outfitted fitness center and lobby lounge with Pool Table.
To be clear, this building does NOT have air conditioning (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy.
Additional amenities include: game room, iron/board, suitable for children, washer/dryer, shopping, parking for 2nd car $20/ a day, walk to beaches., free parking for 1 car, nice furniture, walk to lift, elevator, golf nearby, complex, monthly resv ok, walk to beach, bedding 1: queen bed, walk to meeting, hairdryer, extended stay, coffeemaker.
I'd recommend this place over a hotel, it's got character, freedom, and location. It's plenty of room for 5+, with a decently sized kitchen and refrigerator. I knew there was an rooftop grill area, but it was much bigger than I expected (even had a small dog park). It's located near almost everything, a 10 min walk to the needle and in the other direction a 10 min walk to pike's place. Also: No nickel and diming!
The "doors" inside the place are just sliding glossy frames (most noticeably the bathroom door).
The balcony is right above a bus station, where "interesting" people may or may not yell at each other.

The condo is very clean, comfortable and up to date. We parked our car in the garage and walked to Pikes Market, the Space Needle, Chihulay museum, the Olympic sculpture garden and the underground tour. Walked to Top Pot donuts and there is a nice Mexican restaurant nearby. Full kitchen and a few close grocery stores if you want to cook. The condo has extra blankets, fans and a washer/dryer.
I had 2 items that may be considered negative....
1)the condo is directly over a busy bus stop, but f you close the windows, you hardly hear the buses and the people conversing below.
2)the bathroom has a sliding door with a panel that offers little privacy. Not a problem for us, but I guess it could be if it were 2 couples.
Had a problem getting answers through email, but had great service when phoning the property.

This place was great and the location was exactly what we needed for our short stay in Seattle. It was a little cramped for six people but it was manageable, the bathroom would be the only issue because there was no lock on the door and the door was a little see-through. Although the overall experience was tremendous.
Great Location, just need a bathroom door that fits, its an inch

Right by a busy street, but windows closed its fine. great 2 bedrooms and kitchen but the family rule was "if someones in the bathroom Dont go in the kitchen. So that was odd. I would give it a 3 because we could walk everywhere we wanted to go and if you needed the bus it is literally right outside this unit.

Too small for our family
Left on 01/08/2014 for a stay in January 2014 | Cassandra
Unfortunately for our size family (2a 3c under 12) the 2 bedroom apt we booked was just not big enough for our 5 night stay. I knew that we needed to use the sofa bed in the lounge room for our 3rd child but it was a hassle having to rearrange the furniture each time the bed needed to be pulled out because it is a little apartment.
I would not recommend 6 adults stay here as there is only 1 small bathroom off the kitchen area. It has a sliding door which does not offer much privacy to whoever is using the restroom or shower.
The linens are old and need replacing. When we arrived the towels were still drying in the clothes dryer. Many of the linens have holes in them and the towels are threadbare and discoloured.
There are exactly 6 pillows in the apt which considering how flat the most of them are it would have been nice to have a couple of extras.
The beds are made with lightweight covers - considering it was the middle of winter I would have thought some spare blankets inteh wardrobe would have been a given.
On a more positive note - the location of the apartment is good. If you are a light sleeper - please stay elsewhere as the traffic noise will keep you awake. There is a busy bus stop outside where from 6am there is a lot of commuter noice during the week days.
The kitchen was well stocked with spices and foil, plastic wraps etc which is a nice touch.
Check in and out was very efficient - a small suggestion would be to include the parking instructions with the welcome basket as I did not have a chance to look at the welcome manual until after we were parked, unpacked and settled. I needed to ask how to find the carpark and what to do.
Our kitchen was missing a couple of essentials which I called the Seatle Oasis Vacations about and they very promptly had new ones to the apartment which was great.
Overall we did enjoy our stay. Read more

Thanks for staying with us, and sorry you found this space too small for you. We have 25+ properties, and we advertise square footage on all of them. However with any of our urban vacation rentals, making the sleeper sofa in the morning while not required, would be beneficial as due to maximize living room space.
Some of our condos do have two bathrooms as well for those that find that a concern.
I have brought this review to the attention to our cleaning staff that we rely on to replace linens as needed. We buy high quality linens and it sounds to me as though the ones you had may not even have been ours vs those of one of our cleaners other clients. None of the towels we buy are thin, as we know the importance of this comfort.
We offer a 5% discount for repeat guests, and invite you to stay with us again and possibly in one of our larger two bed two bath properties. While more expensive, it sounds like they may have been a better fit for your family, which we understand.
Thanks again for staying with us and sharing your thoughts, its the only way we improve our service.

We had a great family vacation. We stayed for 1 week with 2 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 12). Because of the great location we didn't need to rent a car. We just flew into Seattle airport and used public transportation the entire time. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle. It is very clean and comfortable. The owner is very helpful, organized and reliable.

The condo is very small but more than adequate for our 4-day stay. We called about the TV Remote Control needing new batteries, and they were delivered right away. The beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning. I mean... really comfortable! Great location--walking distance to Pike Place and Space Needle. Several great restaurants. I highly recommend Spur Gastropub. My only complaint is that there was only one very small frying pan. Otherwise the kitchen was very well equipped. The rooftop was wonderful! I will return.
Great Seattle location, but...

In general we got a very good value. Excellent location, easy check-in check-out, pretty well equipped kitchen, good Wifi. Why don't I give it 5 stars?
We were 5: 2 couples and my sister in law. For 2 couples it would have been a pretty good accommodation. For couples+1 it became pretty crowded. For 3 couple it would be really crowded. We will be more careful in the future when checking the photos and floor plans.
And I must raise one peeve. The bathroom door. I had never seen a bathroom whose door instead of providing privacy is instead a translucent slider (you can see the silhouette of the occupant when the bathroom light is on). How to use the bathroom maintaining a bit of privacy and dignity became a real problem for our stay. I strongly suggest the owners to consider replacing it with a more conventional opaque swing door.
Exactly what we expected.

We were pretty sure what we should expect so we weren't disappointed. The downtown location was exactly what we were looking for. It had ample room for 4 women, close to restaurants, and very centrally located so we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Typical of downtown, the evenings were noisy from the people and traffic on the street below and we did need to leave the windows open due to summer heat. The unit was clean and modern. We never heard any noise from other building tenants. The rooftop deck was splendid - large with a great view and ample seating. The bathroom had a sliding frosted glass door that was easy to see through at night and wasn't quite wide enough so you could see the occupant on the toilet from the kitchen, living, and dining areas. Fine for a married couple but iffy for anyone else. It's unusual for a two bedroom unit to have so little bathroom privacy when changing the door would completely fix that issue. Again, since we knew what to expect, we enjoyed our visit and felt it was worth the great price. Read more

Thanks for letting us know about your experience, and thank you for the positive comments.
The door to the bathroom is a shojii style screen, and is different than a traditional door, to be sure. Future guests, please let us know if you have any questions about it, as we can send a picture of the door or describe it in detail, so you can gauge if it will work for your group.
Thank you again,

Darik, the owner, was very helpful in answering all my questions. Everything was as he said it would be. The rental is very quaint. It is small, but had all the amenities we needed. Being directly over the city bus stop did make for a bit more noise than one might want. Darik told me about this. I, however, found it entertaining to watch the bus stop activities. The neighborhood is very charming and had a "safe" feeling to it. We could walk to so many places - Pike Street Market, Space Needle, the waterfront, and may coffee shops and local markets. I would stay here again.
great condo; noisy street

we loved the condo - it was enough for a family of (5).
the fold out sofa was the most comfortable ever - not one mattress, but 3 sections. 2 of us slept comfortably on it.
The buses outside were noisy while sleeping, otherwise we liked the Belltown neighborhood.
Great location, easy check-out.

The apartment was small, but comfortable, and had all the amenities and kitchen gadgets you could want. The cleanliness of the place was top notch, and the highlight of the apartment is the roof top patio. Unfortunately, it had been "rented" the day we were there and did get kicked-off of the patio at 2pm, which was disappointing. Also, quiet hours on the roof start at 10pm which also seemed a bit early. Other than that, however, the location in the heart of Belltown is perfect if you are looking to enjoy the restaurants and night life that the area has to offer - but maybe not the ideal location if you are travelling with a family and small kids (can be a bit loud on the streets during the weekend). The check-in and check-out was a piece of cake as well.
Overall, if you are heading to Seattle for the weekend and looking to enjoy the city, including the night life, this is the perfect landing spot for you.
Fun and relaxing...
Left on 06/13/2013 for a stay in June 2013 | Bachelorette Party
I booked this condo for four girlfriends Bachelorette Party, it was perfect because girls always pack a lot of stuff and it would have been crowded in a hotel room. We loved the balcony off the front of the unit, it was fun watching people pass by and for taking pictures:) The frosted glass bathroom door didn't really bother us since we are all really close but I can see where it would be a problem staying with in laws or parents. We always felt safe and loved walking just a couple blocks to Pikes Place; also having the bus stop right out front was perfect. (it does make for some questionable characters at night though) The parking space included was great, but not if you have a large suv or truck you will not fit. I had read reviews were people talked about the no air conditioning. We didn't think it would bother us, but when we got there it was a very warm weekend and very warm in our unit. They do have fans but it was a little uncomfortable at times. The only complaints we have is that the tub was not draining correctly and the fan was not working in the bathroom. Over all we loved our unit and would defiantly stay there again. The nice thing is that they take 1/2 payment up front and then 1/2 30 days out so when you get there and spend money for the weekend you don't have room cost on top of that. If you stay here you must check out the roof top garden, so beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Oasis Rental for a great place to stay :)

This was my second stay and while I still love the unit for the amazing location and well furnished rooms, this trip was not quite as comfortable as my last.
I'm not sure if they switched cleaning companies, but there were multiple bottles of shampoo in the bath, no conditioner, an empty bottle of body wash and the soap dispenser in the bathroom sink was empty. These are things you can work around, but I expect it to be a little better maintained.
I'm not the first to say it, but the bathroom door does not give you a ton of privacy so you should be very close with whomever you're staying with!
Overall, I prefer it to a hotel and the walking distance to the market as well as nearby coffeeshops and restaurants cannot be beat! I will likely stay there again if I get to visit Seattle soon.

We came to Seattle to visit my son and this location was very convenient and close to his apartment and many attractions.
The only reason I would not rate this 5 stars is because of the noise from the traffic below the bedroom window and living room deck.
The Condo was clean, neat and modern.

I was put in charge of finding a place to stay in Seattle and I could not be more proud of myself for finding this great unit. It is the absolute perfect location! It is walking distance to Pikes Market, Seattle Center, and a ton of great restaurants and bars. Although the bathroom door situation was a little tricky, and the noise level was relatively high if the windows were open, everything else was great. We really enjoyed the roof top and the downstairs pool table. It was straight forward and easy to check in, easier to check out, and easy to enjoy.

We four co-worker friends decided to take a minivacation in Seattle, my job was to "find a place"! This little "Oasis" was ideal, just right for taking in the Seattle City Center, and then the SaM and the Pike Place Market. Yeah, it was cold outside, so nice and cozy when we got back. Chairs you could sink into. Beds that were wonderful. Would recommend!

Location: excellent, easy walking distance to Seattle Center, Pike's Market, Pioneer Square and many other attractions and neighborhoods. There are a wealth of restaurants, bars and cafés within several blocks. Parking in the building is easy and safe.
Apartment: it's small but efficient. My family of four - two adults, and two teenaged children had room to maneuver but it was tight. The apartment amenities are nice but if you're looking for a spacious place, think about other options. Only one person in the bathroom at a time; you'll need to move furniture to open the very comfortable sleeper couch in the living area, etc.
Noise: Buses, which started at 6am, woke us up each morning, other street noise including conversations, disturbed sleeping.
Lighting: additional lights would be helpful in kitchen and eating area.
Broadband/Internet: when several devices were connected to the Internet, logging on for the "next device" was time consuming and inconsistent. It was difficult for me to diagnosis the issue.
Communication: much stronger during booking process than once we arrived. I inquired by email about an additional night the day before our arrival and didn't receive a reply for three days; I phoned to let you know about a burned out light bulb in the bedroom and never received a reply. I would have purchased one myself if you told me you were unable to fix it but let it be and moved the bulb from the living area lamp (below the clock) to the bedroom. However lighting in the living area was then poor.

It is reasonable to assume that a fairly new tourist accomodation charging over $200 per night has climate control. Though nothing in the website mentions it, this building has no air conditioning. Even on a cool day outside the apartment was hot and stuffy as there is no mechanism for even getting outside air in - other than a collection of fans like the ones at your grandma's house.
The there's the bathroom door - or rather - there is no bathroom door. Only a sliding frosted glass panel that doesn't even cover the door opening. So your personal activities are basically on display to anyone in the living room or kitchen.
A perusal of the guest book indicated numerous complaints about these shortcoming, but, obviously if they can keep you from finding out until you're already there, management doesn't feel the need to address them.
The only thing about the place that was not a disppointment was the convenient location.
Overall, a great stay
Left on 09/26/2012 for a stay in September 2012 | Michelle
Check in was bit of a hassle, as the cleaners were in the middle of cleaning when we arrived right at 4PM. The cleaning was not finished until 4:30PM.
As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the washroom door was a problem. It is an opaque sliding plastic door with wood frame, which does not really 'close'. It does create somewhat of a 'barrier' between the washroom and the rest of the space, but does not provide the privacy you would normally expect. For that reason, I recommend this space for immediate families only. I was there with in-laws and we had awkward moments because of this lack of privacy.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The location was great, parking was convenient, and the kitchen was very useful.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and we will definitely consider staying at Seattle Oasis for our future visits.

The apartment was well equipped and very well maintained. The location was excellent for doing things close to the city. The security parking was excellent, easy to get into.
Unfortunately the time of our stay was exceptionally hot and the fans provided were not enough to cool in the evening, therefore we had to open the windows. Since the apartment faces the street this meant there was a lot of street noise - ear plugs solved the problem. Read more

We are glad you enjoyed our great location, and the provided parking. Our average summertime temperatures in Seattle is only in the mid 70s and so only 30% of people have a/c, and this includes only 2 buildings in all of Downtown Seattle!
Many people find by closing blinds during the day, and then opening up the place in the evening when the cool breeze comes off the water is enough. We are in the heart of Downtown Seattle, and with that comes the usual noises one might expect from the street, cars, buses, etc.
It sounds like overall you had a great stay and were able to make the most of our wonderful location. Let us know if you come back to Seattle, we'd be happy to host you again.

We visited Seattle for a family wedding and stayed three nights in this condo. Guests included four adults and an infant. It was really nice to have the comforts of the condo rather than the sterility of a motel room. We were grateful to have a guaranteed parking spot for our rental car. We weren't able to explore downtown Seattle much but it's obvious that the condo is conveniently located. All communication with the rental staff was pleasant, prompt, and courteous. Our favorite thing was having a homebase while in the busy city. Our least favorite thing was the bathroom door and faulty shower curtain rod. All in all though, excellent stay and highly recommended!
