The vacation rental "1 Bedroom amazing Sound View Oasis" was truly a relaxing place to spend a busy week in Seattle. Prior to my visit, Seattle Oasis sent me email messages with all sorts of information about the rental and on Seattle. When I arrived, Alan, the representative, met me and gave me a quick tour. He was very helpful and I knew I could count on him when I needed help. The amenities (washer-dryer, coffee maker, Tv-internet) added to the pleasurable experience. The special gift basket was a nice welcoming touch too! The rental was in a secured building and all the residents I met in the elevator were pleasant. The rental was within walking distance to Pike Market, the Seattle Sheraton (where I attended a conference), post office, the Space Needle, and waterfront. I walked the waterfront every day, walking down Wall Street over the train tracks to alaskan Hwy. From there, I passed the Olympic park along the shoreline; it was a nice paved walkway until the bait shop (with a public restroom). It was nice to go "home," take a shower, and watch the ferries glide over the sound. The view of the sound was gorgeous even though the view was slightly blocked by an apartment building. At the end of my stay, Seattle Oasis, sent me reminders about checkout. I always felt someone was close by; their communication was gentle and much appreciated. Aside from the view, the best things about the rental was that it was clean and well-stocked. Upon checkout, I felt like I was leaving my own home: it is a unit that just invites you to remove your shoes and plop down on the sofa. Relax there; it is the next best thing to being in your own home.

This place was perfect for our short 4-night visit. It is in a perfect location, close to the market and next door to an excellent bakery. The view of the sound is nice too. You can see storms as they roll in. The weekend nights were a little noisy, but no more than one would expect from being in a central, lively downtown area. My only criticism would be the kitchen. Being so close to the market, I really wanted to cook a nice dinner at the condo, but the pots and pans in the kitchen were very bad quality. Read more

Thanks for staying with us, and taking the time to leave this review. We are replacing the pots and pans today, we do use quality pans, but unfortunately guest sometimes do not take the care that they may with pans at home.
We appreciate the feedback as it helps us keep the quality were we expect to have it.
Thanks again, and we invite you back to stay again and see the improvements we made. If you do we do offer returning guests a 5% discount.

Lovely well equipped suite. Fantastic view, great location, close to Pike Market, restaurants, etc. Kitchen well equipped although we didn't use the facilities other than the microwave on this trip. First night stay was quite noisy (Seahawks game night), second was better. But we realize it's a downtown location so that's to be expected. Overall a very pleasant stay. We'd certainly stay here again and have already recommended it to co-workers.

The apartment was very nicely located 10mns from Pike Street Market, possibly the best bakery and cafe in Seattle is right of the front door.
The kitchen was well enough equipped that we could cook for friends who live in Seattle as if we were at home.
The bed if very comfortable, the bathroom well appointed. Having a washer dryer for the end of our vacation was most useful.theparking spot is key as well.
We would book with Seattle Oasis Rentals again without hesitation.

This condo was absolutely wonderful. Stylish décor and comfortable furniture. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook/entertain, the view was stunning and the location was within walking distance to most all the attractions. Belltown Condos sent us an aPP to use during our stay which was fantastic...giving directions, maps, sightseeing options, even let us know what restaurants offered discounts on certain nights! Free parking was a big plus. The staff at BTC was extremely helpful and very friendly, answering all our questions and taking his time to give us a tour of the building. We thoroughly enjoying our visit to Seattle and would definitely stay at BTC again. The only thing I would change are the lamps in the bedroom. When we used a fan for circulation, the bangles on the bedside lamps would make a constant sound. Other than that - we give it a huge a+++!

Great condo, in a great location. The condo was well appointed and had covered(Free)parking in a garage. It was within walking distance of many sights and attractions-the waterfront, Space Needle, Pike Place market, Pioneer Square and the ferry terminal. Many great restaurants in the neighborhood and a fabulous bakery right next door. Would definately recommend this location when visiting Seattle and the staff at Seattle Oasis Vacations were great.

Overall, I feel our stay was great. There are some areas that could of been better. I called from the airport just as described in the email. They said someone would be there upon arrival but we had to wait 30 minutes on the sidewalk out front. I called again and he said he got caught in traffic. I just figured since we had hit same traffic from airport that he should of beat us since we had to wait for baggage and then our ride. Another issue was the lack of normal items in apartment. We stayed for seven days and there was one roll of toilet paper and one trash bag. I found myself shopping for all household items at store. I left stuff for next guests. I also asked for a one hour extension on checkout due to my flight. I was advised the next guest was checking in an hour after we left so they couldn't accommodate the request. I totally ins stand that but what is weird is that day of checkout guests are required to wash and clean all towels and linens. My wife has OCD about cleanliness so it wasn't an issue for us but I hope the guests before us had the same standards. Overall the views were unbelievable.

The apartment was basically what you'd expect for the price. Everything was in order and thankfully the Oasis management had set up the aC unit before we arrived as it was a very hot weekend. Other than the bed being to high for a toddler and the pull out bed being rather uncomfortable (they always are) the apartment was everything we needed for a lovely weekend respite. The location was actually better than I thought it would be - lots of restaurants and bars and easily walkable to Pike Place with a 3 yo. Try the Black Bottle for dinner, it was fab. Best of all would be the Oasis management...top notch service all around.

I am a UK visitor and spent 10 days in Seattle last week, attending a conference and then some sight seeing. I was lucky as the weather was great, hot and sunny- probabaly unusual for this time of the year. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and well stocked. The view across the sound with a view of the mountains was wonderful. The apartment is located in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of bars and cafes and only 10 minutes walk from the downtown and Pike Street market. Late at night at the week-end there was a bit of street noise as people left the bars and cafes. Seattle is a great city, friendly people, excellent transport. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our stay very much! I have rented a condo at this same location through a different company and must say that our experience with Seattle Oasis was 100% better. They met us on site when we arrived in a timely manner and assisted us with getting our bags to our condo. They were very friendly and gave us a tour of the facility. There was a very nice welcome basket with treats and information relating to our stay. The condo was in excellent condition and very clean! The location was great, and although the weather wasn't kind to us, we still had a really nice time. The information booklet with recommendations for local restaurants and amenities was a big help, and we made full use of that. It was my second time in seattle and my boyfriends first. We were kindly greeted when we arrived (even though we arrived at the other building they came and found us). She gave us a tour of the room and they had given us some nice complimentary things. The condo was very clean and stocked with everything we would need. The view was beyond amazing! Waking up to that everyday made us know we wanted/had to move to seattle our of Wisconsin. We were right on first street on the weekend. Since the weather was much warmer than in Wisconsin we had our windows open constantly. Even though we were on a very busy road the noise was not bad at all. At night when we closed the windows we could not hear much of anything of the crazy weekend crowd. The hot tub was amazing after walking the city every day. Very close to lots of attractions and good food. The people in the building were also very friendly.
Overall our stay was beyond what we expected thanks to Sovr and the customer service they gave us. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully while looking for a place of our own when we move out there :)

City living at it's best with the bonus of a parking stall. Convenient to shopping, theatre, restaurants, waterfront & Pike Place Market. Condo is well equipped for dining in and Macrina Bakery with all it's yummy treats is dangerously just outside the lobby. But there is a pool and gym in case you overindulge. Wish we could have taken advantage of the balcony to watch the sunset but Seattle's liquid sunshine prevented that.
I rated it 4 stars for Comfort because we found the bed a bit soft for our taste but we slept on the fold out sofa in comfort.
We visit Seattle often to see family and will rent this same unit again.

Love this place. We were five blocks from the Pike market; an easy walk down First ave. There are several great restaurants all accessible on foot. Have to highly recommend Local 360 about a block and a half north on First ave. Also, check out the Belltown Pub for late night drinks and the pizza joint just right of the door on First. If you like to cook you will love the well stocked kitchen. Plan on making a meal from items bought at the Pike market.

No auto required! Mgmt. provided instructions to get to the apt. from the airport via local transportation (Hello Seattle!). Inside the apt. was a binder filled with suggested restaurants, sights, and condo rules. Belltown Court is well maintained, residents are friendly (and quiet). Very comfy environment - it sure beats a hotel. If you are a walker, you are in for a treat. Street noise can be loud at times (this is a hip neighborhood) and the non-stick cookware could stand some replacing (the delicious Macrina Bakery was a fabulous substitute for cooking breakfast however). Mgmt. please consider using fragrance-free laundry and cleaning products. The sound view changes daily.

My husband and I have rented vacation properties at Belltown Court for years. We love this location as it is easy to walk and drive to anywhere you want to go in Seattle. This property has a wonderful view of the water. It does face the street so be aware that if you open the windows you will hear street noise. We like the city vibe, so that was fine with us. There was also an air conditioning unit which was thoughtfully turned on for us before we arrived as it happened to be a very warm day and with the windows closed, you don't hear any noise. The unit is clean and functional and convenient to downtown and good restaurants. Two really good restaurants right at the building are Macrina's Bakery and La Vita Bella. This condo hsd everything we needed and we really appreciated the complimentary snack tray, which included several bottles of water, a Pelligrino and snacks. The only suggestion for improvement would be to remove the stains from a previous bathroom mat in the bathtub. The tub is not dirty in any way, it just has the stains. Really was not a big deal to us. The huge showerhead and chandelier in the bathroom more than made up for this.

We were thoroughly impressed with booking process as well as the apartment itself. This lovely place had everything that was needed, plus more, to ensure a great vacation. The only issue (and this is my own problem as a very light sleeper) was that it was noisy at night, particularly on the Friday night. This was and is in no way a deal breaker and I would definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Seattle. The apartment is in a great position for access to tourist sites, restaurants, Macrina bakery!!! and Pikes Market.

Thanks so much for staying with us! We love our location as well as many of our guests don't even bring a car as they can walk to all the sites they want to see! And then with the near by grocery options and convenience of a kitchen, guests save a lot of money compared to a hotel when adding at least 10 per meal per person in downtown Seattle to eat out every meal! That is what makes our vacation rentals such a great value!

The good~Great location and adequate for us as a family of four. Would have preferred the kids not to be sharing the big bed in the bedroom (twins would have been nice), but it worked better for us to stay on the sofa bed. Kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. Underground parking a plus. Enjoyed the roof top area which had great views.
Room for Improvement
- We were asked what time we would like to check in and we agreed a time of 2pm. Nearing Seattle, we called to say we would be nearer to 1/1:15pm; was this realistic for the cleaning to have been done so we could check in? The person on the phone said that our expected time of 2pm was unrealistic in the first place! This was the time we were given to "choose". We arrived to washing still in the dryer; our welcome try not finished, and the kitchen floor was sticky and the worktop hadn't been cleaned properly. All minor things, but we didn't expect to have to clean the floor and wipe down the counter.
- The big a/C unit in the living area was full blast and extremely loud and because of the heat in the apartment it needed to be kept on for most of the time we were inside and also during the night. We used the fan provided to try and get air into the bedroom. Ceiling fans would be a huge plus and might have helped us to sleep. The blind in the living area does not close properly due to the a/C unit hose which extends to the outside of the window and has warm air coming in the gaps.
- The carpet in the living area was very marked and dirty. Why did we have to pay a cleaning fee!
- The house rules state quiet time in the building after 10pm. The amount of street noise from people and traffic was unreal; all clearly heard in the building (on our side anyway).
- Having the apartment classed as "Amazing Sound View Oasis", oversells it from inside.
- Fit a screen door to separate the wash area from the toilet / shower area in the bathroom.
- Fit a screen door to the bedroom sliding door. Read more

Thank you for the positive comments about our vacation rental, and thank you also for letting us know what issues you encountered. Since we spoke on the phone several times during your stay with us, I wish you would have brought these things up during those conversations, so we could have worked to correct then while you were here.
Also, I do want to clarify your concern over your early arrival. All of our documentation and paperwork, including emails, indicate a check in time of 4pm. That being said, we try to work with early arrivals as a courtesy to our guests. You had indicated you would like to check in at 2pm, and we responded that would most likely be possible, and if not, we would be able to store bags and/or provide garage access until the condo itself was ready. When you arrived at 1pm, we were NOT ready, nor was the condo. That is no excuse for the blemishes you saw on check-in, and our cleaning company has been notified of your complaints, and we will take care to make sure that doesn't happen for future guests, even if that means they have to wait until the proper check in time. The cleaning company did say that they let you know about the towels in the dryer and asked if you would like them to return, to which they said you said it was okay.
The carpet in the living room does have three small stains, all from recent guests, and is scheduled for deep cleaning July 26.
The condo is in a very urban environment; close to all that Seattle has to offer. The plus to that is you can access the waterfront, Pike Place Market, great Seattle nightlife, and fantastic restaurants within steps of your door. The "downside" is that LOTS of other people are in the area to enjoy those exact same things, and those people make noise that we, as owners of the condo, can't control. I am sorry you found the condo too noisy for your liking. We have had other reviewers for this same condo comment on how quiet it is for its urban location. I think that this is a matter of personal preference.
Again, thank you for your honest comments about your stay,. We work very hard to ensure that each guest enjoys his or her time in Seattle. I am sorry that it seems we fell short for you,

Thanks for your feedback regarding your stay with us. Our condo is extremely popular, especially due to the view during the summer months. Often we have less than 10 nights ALL sumer that are vacant. We had a guest check out at 11am on the day of your arrival and worked as hard as we could to meet your request to check in early. Just to clarify, our check in time is 4pm, and you had requested to check in at 1. That did not allow sufficient time to have all the linens dry. When you called to see if the unit was ready I mentioned the state of the condo, that it was clean and ready except that all the linens were not finished yet, and the towels were still in the wash. I had given you the option to get the keys, park and let us finish, but you said you were fine with finishing up the towels that it wasn't a problem as you had rather get in and get settled.
We certainly understand the annoyance of having to wait for the condo to be ready, but we do take cleanliness seriously as well and when we have someone check out at 11 getting the condo turned around in even a couple hours is nothing short of a miracle when on some days we have 5 or 6 to clean in just a couple of hours.
In regards to the commode to my knowledge it is a standard size as we replaced it only a couple years ago with one appropriate for the rough in for the condo.
We would love to host you again, and would welcome any constructive comments on improving our guests' experience.

This condo was everything it was represented to be. The reviews that accompanied this listing were accurate. The bakery, the small grocer, the proximity to everything downtown, the local bars and restaurants are right there. We found the condo very comfortable and spacious for 2. It was clean and the kitchen was adequate for moderate cooking. Management bent over backwards to ensure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay and it is clear they want you to enjoy Seattle. More info on bus routes to attractions (like Woodland Park Zoo or the Ballard Locks) would be a bonus but all the basic info is there. (City Pass etc.) The only thing we noticed, but were aware of because of previous reviews, was the street noise, it was warm during the day and we had the windows open to enjoy a breeze. This did not detract from our stay but if you want quiet, a condo facing the court yard might be better.

My husband and I stayed here with our 9 month old son while traveling for business. The location of this unit is fantastic. Great views and nearly everything is within walking distance including the Space Needle and Pikes Market. The unit included a washer and dryer - wonderful when traveling with a small child - and a pack-n-play is available for rental. My brother and his wife also stayed with us for a few days and slept on the sofa bed. Remarkably, we all fit comfortably in this one bedroom.
I do have two small complaints: 1) We were overcharged by $50+. This is likely because we had to do two transactions - one for business and one for personal - and the cleaning bill had to be split. The charges were corrected within 4 hours of my e-mail to them but it happened with the first charge and the second one nearly a month later. I was annoyed I was overcharged twice.
2) There is no central a/C. One of the days was really hot and I looked everywhere for the a/C noted in the listing. I e-mailed the manager (who e-mailed back quickly) and they said they have window units available upon request. They offered to bring one up but it was more of a hassle than I wanted to deal with.
Even with the annoyances, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. You won't find a better deal in Seattle. We're already planning a vacation again and you can bet we'll be staying here. Read more

I am glad you all had a great time in Seattle and enjoyed our great location. Seattle is not known for air conditioning due to our temperate climate. In fact there are only two buildings in all of downtown Seattle that have Central A/C. So we have the stand up A/C units that we install during the warmer months which do a great job of cooling off the condos. We would leave them up but we don't want to impede the wonderful view in any way when they aren't needed typically 9 months out of the year. We happened to have one unusual (and record breaking) day in the 70s in April, which is why the A/C wasn't installed yet. I actually just installed the last A/C in for the Season over the weekend I would have been happy to do so for your stay, it wouldn't have been a hassle at all. I just wanted to let you know they aren't upon request, it is more that we install them when weather demands and before your stay we hadn't experienced many days in the 60s yet, let alone a day in the 70s!
In regards to the over charge I am very sorry that happened. In order to accommodate your wish to have two separate invoices for work vs pleasure we created two stays in our system. The system treated those as each different guest stays and wanted to charge a cleaning fee for each stay as that is what it is programmed to do. I have worked with our software provider since and believe we have worked out a override system that wont override our overrides if that make sense. Again my apologies but glad we were able to take care of the issue swiftly for you as well as accommodate your special invoicing request. We always try to be as accommodating as possible!
I'm glad to see you are planning to come back and stay with us again. Do know we always do what we can to make our guests comfortable and enjoy our great city so don't hesitate to call if there is something that we can do to make that happen!

We loved our time in the condo! Beautiful view, especially loved the ferry boats coming by. The unit was clean and comfortable and staff was warm and accommodating. The location was perfect. Only bad thing? We only were there for two nights...could have easily stayed a whole week.

We came up from Portland for 3 days with our young kids (3 and 6). We walked everywhere--restaurants, Space Needle, EMP, Aquarium, Sculpture Park. There is a great bakery on the ground level of this building and an excellent, kid-friendly Japanese street food restaurant around the back in the same block. And we swam in the pool at least once a day. Kids were tired and happy and thoroughly entertained. I would go back in a heart beat! And the view is incredible.
Pleasant and well located

Service was excellent. We loved the home. The beds especially were the most comfortable I ever slept in! The location was excellent, near everything. Loved the bakery next door, the decoration of the home, the boats on the sound.
Very Peaceful and relaxing

I stayed with my wife for 5 days for a pleasure trip. Owner met us and got us checked in, very easy. The apartment was nice and comfortably furnished, a typical small city apartment, though certainly roomy enough. It was extremely quiet in the building, we felt like we were the only ones there. A bit of ambient noise from the street and freeway, the view more than made up for that. Easy walk down to Pike Place market, and tons of very good restaurants literally around the corner. Would definitely stay here again.
Good overall experience in Seattle

Before my wife and I left for Seattle we asked the owner Darik for some advice on restaurants, sight seeing, entertainment, etc. I was blown away by the amount of information he shared with us. He took a lot of time to break down each area of interest. We landed early and therefore waited a little while before checking in. We took him up on one of his strongest recommendations of a local bakery called Macrina. It turned into being probably our favorite spot. The condo itself was in a great location. Very central to everything. The unit was modern and appealing overall. The carpet was frayed in a couple of spots at the entry points to the rooms. I actually trimmed it up before I left. The one kind of issue we had was that the heat wouldn't turn off via the thermostat. We woke up pretty much to 85 degrees. It wouldn't shut off, so I flipped the breaker and the problem was solved. In fairness, I didn't call anyone since I knew how to shut it down. Not everyone may have known to do that though. Overall, it was a very experience.

My mother, infant son and I stayed at Urban Oasis while I was in town for a work conference. We opted to stay in the condo rather than a hotel as we wanted to have our own kitchen and more than one room, being that we were traveling with an infant. The condo exceeded all of our expectations. It was a great location--many interesting stores and restaurants, not to mention the fabulous Macrina Bakery just outside the door. It was nice to be able to walk to the Sculpture Garden, Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and, of course, downtown to my conference. We did not rent a car, nor did we ever feel like we needed one. The condo itself is very comfortable, well stocked, and stylish, not to mention, very clean. Darrick was great about giving us explicit directions for getting around town. I have already recommended this place to a friend traveling to Seattle this summer. I would definitely stay again if I am back in town!

Over the last 5 years of travelling to Seattle on business, I have stayed in over 15 different apartments and hotels, so I can honestly say that you can't find a better Seattle location or service than with Darik & Sally in Urban Oasis.
I've stayed in 2 of their apartments, both of which are so warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. Darik meets you at the door with your keys and a guided tour of the building facilities. The kitchen, laundry & bathrooms are kitted out with everything you need, but Macrina Bakery & a grocery store are just downstairs if you need anything. There is also a handy dry cleaners opposite. Secure parking in the building is included with your apartment.
The Belltown neighbourhood has much to offer in terms of food & entertainment and is just a 10 minute walk to the downtown, shopping, market and ferry areas. Visit the "Big Picture" theatre half a block away for a cocktail with your movie.
The apartment is perfect for a vacation or a longer business stay. I love the independence of cooking & doing laundry in my own space, which feels like a home away from home. It's much more comfortable and spacious than a downtown hotel room.
You won't be disappointed if you stay with Urban Oasis! :)

Just what we were hoping for!

The apartment was everything as it was described + a lot more than we expected. It is clear the owners understood the needs of the guests and so there was, for example, a generous supply of those household goods that you may need as soon as you arrive + those items such as salt and washing-up liquid that you would not want to buy on a short visit. We welcomed the warmth of the reception, the condition of the apartment and the whole block as well as the situation and the view.
We have determined that on our next visit to Seattle we will again seek to stay in that apartment or one owned and operated by the same owner.
