This lovely one bedroom, 1 bathroom vacation condo is an excellent value for downtown Seattle. It is steps away from the Washington State Convention Center and the rest of downtown Seattle, making it an excellent base of operations for tourists, convention go-ers, and corporate housing.
This Seattle vacation condo faces west, allowing for beautiful light filled afternoons and city and Lake Union views. Centrally located where Capitol Hill meets Downtown Seattle, this condominium has designer touches throughout. With an almost perfect walk score of 98 the location simply can’t be beat. It is directly across the street from the Conv...ention Center and just steps to Pacific Place & Westlake shopping centers, live theater, movie theaters, the monorail, and many restaurants. The building is just a few blocks from Swedish Hospital. Add in easy access to & from I-5 as well as the airport light rail line being just a few comfortable blocks away, and you really couldn't ask for anything more!
You enter into a spacious and beautifully decorated living room, complete with comfortable furnishings. Relax here at the end of a long day enjoying Seattle! The bedroom features a queen sized bed, and there is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. All linens and towels are included. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you might need to whip up a meal. Laundry facilities are available for guests in the building as well as a roof top deck with breathtaking views of Lake Union, downtown Seattle, and Capitol Hill.
The Elektra is a mid-century building featuring concrete construction, so very quiet and very little noise travels between the units. There is a roof top deck with beautiful views of Lake Union, the Seattle skyine, and peek a boo views of Elliott Bay. A game room is available upon request with the concierge.
Please be aware that parking is not included. There is an adjacent business with a parking garage that is open to the public 24 hours a day, as well as lots and street parking in the neighborhood. Also, this unit does not have air conditioning. Due to Seattle’s mild summers, almost NO buildings in Seattle have central air conditioning. We do provide fans for your comfort.
Lastly, be aware that this is an urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty concrete construction.

This place is wonderful with all the conveniences of home.
I would highly recommend the stay and commend its owners
for being so organized and efficient , but most importantly, they were extremely kind and helpful.
Class act in seattle!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and as described. Right next to convention center which was convenient for us. Check in and out was easy. They answered our questions during our stay promptly.
Only issue was the sofabed was broken, but we were able to rig it so it wasn't that big an issue. But definitely needs a new sofa bed.
All in all great value and great location. Enjoyed our stay. Read more
Thanks for staying with us! You truly can't get any closer to the convention center as it is directly across the street from the building. After this guest we did replace the sleeper sofa with a brand new American Leather comfort sleeper, the best on the market. It features a memory foam mattress, so that there are no bars or springs. We've had guests stay on this sleeper and say its more comfortable than their bed at home!
Let us know next time you are in town, we'd love to host you again.

Great location within walking distance of Westlake Station, the Market, and downtown shopping. Well appointed. Some freeway noise and building noises but not too disturbing.

Close to downtown Seattle. Walking distance to waterfront.Room was a bit dated but comfortable & clean. Sofa bed had broken support leg. WiFi was available.Great view of Seattle at night from rooftop.Room would be perfect for a couple but as soon as you use the sofa as a bed for an extra person the room space is very restricted.Dogs are allowed in the rooms as it is a condo. Bit disconcerting when you first see the dogs in the passage ways and coming out of rooms.Slight smell but not too bad.Nice welcome package and introduction when we first arrived.
clean, quaint, friendly walk-through, right in the heart of the

I chose a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom flat to rent for a week. It was perfectly positioned between downtown and capital hill. Walking distance from everything and *quiet*, despite it being right next to the freeway and adjacent to a flat with a lively baby.
The rendezvous to drop off the key and take me on a quick tour of the building/facilities/rooftop view was friendly and fun and then I was completely left alone to enjoy my spot for the rest of the week. Checking out was fast and easy: just clean up after yourself, dump the garbage, leave keys on the counter and go! The rest was handled automagically and I got a receipt over email.
My friend stayed during the same week but at a different Seattle Oasis location and had an equally awesome experience. Would definitely stay here again! If only for the Victrola Coffee Roasters morning latte just a few blocks away ;)

the kitchen was not properly stocked, you have to pay extra to do your laundry, there were issues with checking in and parking for the car. we were given a gift card for the issues; however, you had to go online and print off the certificate in order to use it..we could have gone to a staples to do it..but only another inconvenience. The best part of this Vrbo was the location.

This rental is in what appears to be an old building. The owners converted it to condos. This unit is on the 9th Floor. Note that is pretty small, about 500 SF. This is on par with a hotel room. The kitchen is tiny with no counter space and precious few cabinets. No garbage grinder. There is a small island at which you could eat. There is no desk, per se, to set up a laptop to work on. There is no washer/dryer in the unit. There is also no air conditioning or ceiling fans. If the weather is hot, this could be a real issue. There are no screens on the windows so if you have small children with you it might not be wise to open the windows no matter the heat. Also, when I was there, the refrigerator did not work. The freezer did, but the refrigerator did not cool at all. At least half the electrical outlets in the unit do not work. There are extension cords running everywhere. I had to go to Target and buy a few more, which I left for the next guest. Note also that this building is right next to the I-5. The freeway is partially covered, but it is still loud. The traffic noise can be extreme, especially on weekends. Remember, the only way to cool off is to open the windows which lets in all the noise. On the plus side, it is a good location. You can walk down to Pike Place market or east to the Capital Hill neighborhood. The WiFi signal was strong. The rooftop deck was nice for taking pictures. The Seattle Oasis people were very helpful. I would recommend dealing with them but for a different unit.

The location is convenient if you can walk maybe 3/4 a mile to the tourist district. The train stop to the airport and major shopping is maybe 4 blocks. The unit itself was clean but didn't have the air conditioning that was advertised. Laundry facilities are in the building's 2nd floor and $1 to wash and $1 to dry I think. The building itself is fairly outdated. There was no noise from the building, but you are right next to a major freeway. With no a/C and needing to leave the windows open, it made for very noisy nights. The sleeper sofa mattress is typical and very thin so I slept on the couch unfolded (but I'm 5' tall so not a problem). Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review our property. The price for this condo is the lowest of any that we own/manage for many of the reasons you outlined. The building is very quality construction, but mid-century, so older. The freeway is adjacent. The A/C was not set up during your visit, and since then we have actually removed the A/C, as we can not make it work efficiently with the construction of the windows and the set up of the blinds in that particular condo. As A/C is rare in Seattle, we hope that won't be a concern for future guests, but certainly understand that it was something that was promised to you and not provided. To that, we offer sincere apologies.
All that being said, we do clearly state in our description that noise is a possible issue as it a very urban environment. We also clearly state that laundry facilities are on-site, NOT in the unit itself. We do provide laundry supplies for guests use. The positives of this unit are its great location, across the street from the convention center, two blocks from the downtown Seattle retail core, including the Monorail to the Seattle Center, and eight blocks to the Pike Place Market and waterfront. You are surrounded by great places to eat. For the money, you are receiving a great value, staying in the heart of downtown Seattle, steps from literally everything. We feel that we have described the condo fairly, and accurately.
Great experience! We will be back ;)

Great experience with this rental, our favorite place we've stayed on our trips to Seattle. A short walk to downtown, to Capitol Hill, and easy access if we chose to taxi or walk to Light Rail station. Very clean and nicely decorated, wonderful windows and light. We enjoyed the amenities and felt at home. The service in acquiring the rental and being met on site to show us in and around the building was perfect! We will rent with Seattle Oasis again!
I am very satisfied with the stay in the beginning of june.
The appartment is very well located, in particular for those who need to be close to Convention Center. Appartment is well equiped and I found it well coresponding to the announcement.
