Casa Carolina Vacation Rental Inn is in a private hollow surrounded by an established oak forest, nestled in flowering perennial and vegetable beds interspersed with fruit trees and berry patches. Deer, red-tailed hawks, great horned owls, raccoons, foxes; Daisy the Donkey, hens, and lambs are all residents of this beautiful Sonoma Wine Country property. SPECIAL FEATURES Carolyn Schroth is the owner and one of the builders of this Sonoma vacation rental more than 20 years ago. Wehave recommendations for restaurants, self guided winery tours, massages, hiking, biking, kayaking, shopping, and antiquing. The home is surrounded by established oaks, madrone, eucalyptus and redwoods, and is nestled in flowering perennial and vegetable beds in addition to Carolyn's famous berry patch.

La Casa is located on the first property in the countryside bordering the town of Sebastopol. Sebastopol is your best choice for a convenient location to the 2 major regions in Sonoma County for wine tasting. This small town of Sebastopol has a variety of beautiful shops, antiques, a Sunday Sebastopol Farmers Market and a highly awarded array of small Sonoma Wine Country restaurants. Sebastopol is surrounded by rolling hills of vineyards, Gravenstein Apple Orchards, many bike trails and a large Laguna preserve. The Pacific Ocean is 20 minutes to the west with many public beaches and the fishing village of Bodega Bay.

Wineries in the Russian River Appellation are minutes from Casa Carolina. Healdsburg is to the north and the town of Sonoma is to the southeast. Casa Carolina Policies:

There is a 2 night minimum Sunday through Thursday and a 4 night stay minimum if a weekend is included - May through November.
There is a 2 night minimum December through April.

There is a one time cleaning of $125 and 9% occupancy tax.

Check deposit or credit card guarantee required for 1st night.
Casa Carolina is open at all hours.

Cancellation Policy
No charge for room cancellations with at least 7 days notice. No shows or less than the above notices will result in a charge equal to the first nights' room charge.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is permitted outdoors only

Children and Pets Policy
Children welcome when space available, pets negotiable.

Parking
Please try to park in such a manner as not to block access or egress.

  My family (2 small children, 5 adults) rented this beautiful home for the weekend of my cousin's wine country wedding. We could not have asked for a more wonderful weekend! Casa Carolina was perfectly situated for our wine country explorations, wedding and events in Sebastopol, Occidental, Santa Rosa, etc. The house was cozy and comfortable, stocked with all the kitchen gadgets of home, so we were able to have breakfast and lunches in almost every day (great money and hassle saver with small kids). They welcomed our dog, which also saved us money and hassle, but more importantly got our poor city doggie (and kids) out to "the country". My girls heard crickets for the first time! The hot tub and patio situated under an arching tree were our favorite lounging spots!
  
  Only one caveat, there are nice deep bathtubs in all the bathrooms, but if you are a shower person, only the master bedroom has an "accessible shower" which we needed for on of our guests. You can shower in all the bathrooms, but need to be nimble enough to get in/out. Worked out fine for us to share the one shower though.
  
  Overall, it was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to go back! The caretakers were fabulous too, logistics were easy, everything was terrific!
