      Cosy and great views

Left on 04/20/2013 for a stay in April 2013

This cosy cottage may be small but it has everything you need - the kitchen's particularly well equipped and it's great to have the real fire to warm you up after a day's walking. The village is friendly too. The only downside is not having parking right outside or next to the property, however, there is free parking on the roadside just a few yards away. Great location, easy access for M5 and the Lakes, especially Kendal, and what a joy neighbouring Kirby Lonsdale was - lovely shops and cafes.

      cosy cottage, beautiful scenary

Left on 03/16/2013 for a stay in February 2013

we stayed here for 5 nights, but wished we had stayed longer, as we did not want to leave. The village of Sedbergh was beautiful, very friendly and full of charm. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable and full of charm and had everything you needed. We walked the fells and the Howgills a must whilst you stay there. The Red Lion pub offers great hime cooked food and a great atmosphere. Will definetly be going again.

What a delight. Beautiful cosy cottage in the wonderful town of Sedburgh. Everything we could wish for - walks from the door to the Howgill Fells, bookshops galore and plenty of cafes, pubs and shops to keep us fed and watered. We loved it.
