Easy to book and key arrangements worked perfectly, we found this a perfect base for a walking holiday in the surrounding area. The week was pretty wet but the heating system and available space allowed for drying of equipment (& ourselves!) comfortably, and when we wanted to stay in we felt at ease.
Parking was no trouble on the street and the next door neighbours were welcoming and helpful. Only a very short walk from the centre of Sedbergh with plenty of choice for eating out and some interesting shops. You can walk from the front door and be half way up the fell above the town in a matter of minutes, and the choice of walks is varied and plentiful. Wensleydale is less than 45 minutes drive for further opportunities, as are the Lakes in the opposite direction. But the peaceful beauty of this area mean you're better off staying this side of the M6 and exploring the much quieter fells so close to hand.
No complaints about anything - a lovely spot for a relaxing break. Read more

A well kitted out cottage with everything you could possibly need. Set in the lovely small town of Sedbergh with easy access to the Lakes and the Dales.
This is a cottage well worth considering - we enjoyed our stay there immensely.
