Description from the owner
"As this was our first time renting a home for vacation we were pleasantly surprised. The home was everything it was depicted as. Spacious, clean, close to shopping, 20 min. from Sedona, with great views. The owners were a delight to deal with and were very accomodating. I would highly reccomend this property and hope to use it again in the future."--Gary & Deb, Stratford, Ontario, Canada

Sunset Beach, CABeautiful, comfortable home
Left on 06/18/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We loved staying in this home. It is large, beautifully appointed and convenient to everything. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. During our stay we hiked to a local hot spring, felt the vortex energies of Sedona, went to RedRock, Slide Rock, the Grand Canyon, visited a Buddhist Stupa, had dinner in Flagstaff and just enjoyed the amazing scenery of the area. There are many nice restaurants nearby and shopping is convenient as well. We couldn't have chosen a better spot!

Cleveland, OhioQuiet Neighborhood, spacious house.
Left on 05/20/2013 for a stay in May 2013
Visited in May 2013 with my brother. It was larger than what we needed. You could sit very early on the back deck or at night enjoying the views. Every so often you heard an owl . Enjoyed walking thru the neighborhood early in the mornings, most streets have nice views of the mountain surroundings. Loved being so close to Jerome, Sedona and all the wineries and tasting rooms in Historic Cottonwood. Close to the grocery stores as well. Went to Prescott for an art festival, did not have time to see Watson Lake but here its a must. Hopefully, next trip. Also took a trip to Flagstaff to see snow capped mountains. Also took a trip or two to Sedona for the afternoon. Truly enjoyed being in a residential very quiet plan in a house with a garage. This does not even compare to a hotel room with no views or space.

Stayed here 2 nights during early March, great house and very comfortable accommodations. A short drive from Sedona and a lot of amenities that enabled us to cook and hangout without the confines or cost of a hotel

Left on 03/04/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Location is perfect for several destinations - Sedona, Oak Creek, and Jerome. We loved staying here. It's a little bit away from the crowds visiting Sedona, but very close and accessible. The house is nicely laid out and we all found it very comfortable. The open kitchen/dining area lent itself well to visiting time. We found the owner very easy to work with and look forward to another visit soon.

Phoenix, ArizonaExcellent location, had a wonderful stay
Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in August 2012
My family and I stayed here in august. We loved the location! It was between Sedona and Jerome, two must see places! There was shopping close by, and the house was nice and roomy for everyone. It was also nice to escape the sweltering heat of Phoenix for a week during the summer! I can say everyone was satisfied with the stay. We could cook our meals and go pick different areas to go sight see. It was cheaper than staying in a hotel, and had a great view. Would recommend to anyone.

Kingston, CanadaPerfect to enjoy this part of arizona, excellent value
Left on 07/28/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We spent 8 nights in this house (July 12-20) and it was perfect for us. We were 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers). It was like the advertising and even more spacious than expected. The bathrooms were neat and the kitchen had everything you wanted. It was close to grocery stores (2 kms to Fry's and Walmart). We were able to go to Sedona (20 min) to hike from there several times. We went to the Grand canyon (2h30 one way), to Jerome, Flagstaff...It is probably diffcult to have something better for this price in this part of arizona. We enjoyed seeing hummingbirds coming at the deck feeder. It was one of our best vacations!

San Diego, CaliforniaAbsolutely Great Vacation Rental!
Left on 06/26/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Our search for a vacation rental began with pricey hotels in the Sedona area so when we found this place a short drive from Sedona we realized that we much rather preferred to have a place with lots of space and a full kitchen than a typical hotel suite. We were glad to get a quick response to our inquiry and easy and friendly booking. On the reservation confirmation sheets we were provided with insider's tips on activities and great restaurants. The location allowed for quick trips to Walmart, and shopping at Jcpenny's, and others stores within very short distances. This home was very clean, cozy and inviting with a nice porch that my girlfriend and I used to watch the stars come out at night and drink our chai tea. My girlfriend loved having a kitchen where she and I made all our meals and where we packed our lunches for the day. We appreciated having satellite tv so we didn't have to miss our favorite show on the Travel Channel. We had an awesome stay and would recommend it highly because of it's spaciousness, the master's memory foam bed, the fully stocked kitchen, quite and tranquil area, proximity to Sedona, Tuzigoot Monument, grocery stores and shops.

WisconsinEnjoyable stay in this lovely home for reasonable rates.
Left on 02/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012
This was our first time renting a home for vacation rather than being in a motel. It was an excellent choice. We stayed for the month of January with another senior couple. The home is located in a nice residential neighborhood. It has mountain views front and back, esp. from the back deck. It is about 20 miles from the pricey rents at Sedona but close enough to take in the activities and sightseeing there. It is a roomy home all on one level with three large bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. The third bedroom has bunk beds, the upper bunks being for younger children only. However, we slept on the lower bunks when we had overnight company and rested very nicely. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all roomy also and we had plenty of room to cook and dine, watch TV and enjoy the deck. All the amenities are there. There are dishes, cooking utensils, linens, dishwasher and washer and dryer. There is not daily maid service, but the maids do a nice job of cleaning in between different guests. We found the home in good order when we arrived. There is lots to do in the Cottonwood-Clarkdale-Jerome area. Our favorite is the train ride at Clarkdale and visiting the unique mining town of Jerome. It is also close enough to make a day trip to the Grand Canyon, which we also did. There is a casino nearby also. We did have a problem with the furnace, but I called the owner and within 10 minutes, the repairman was there; problem fixed. We would be happy to stay in this home again.

The house was everything described and more. It was spacious, very comfortable and homey. I stayed here with a group of friends. We were able to spread out, yet get together for meals, drinks. Loved sitting on the deck and looking over the entire valley. Everything was accessible and easy to use. A great no hassle vacation place.

Santa Cruz, CaliforniaGirlfriends weekend in Sedona
Left on 09/26/2011 for a stay in September 2011
Great place for a girlfriend getaway. Three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths allowed plenty of space for the three of us and could have easily accommodated more.
The home is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating in and just relaxing together. Nice neighbor who came to check on us when our car alarm was malfunctioning.
Two of the group are runners and really liked the nice track just down the street at the high school.
We recommend visiting Jerome. Quirky and full of fun. Lots of great shopping, views, and restaurants. Not to mention history. -

Port Townsend, WashingtonWonderful home away from home
Left on 05/16/2011 for a stay in May 2011
My sister, mother and I stayed here during a trip celebrating my mom's 80th birthday, and it couldn't have been a more perfect choice--spacious, comfortable, homey, with attractive southwestern decor. Because of some food allergies, we needed to cook most of our meals, and the fully-equipped kitchen and gas stove was a blessing, plus numerous large grocery stores are only a 5-minute drive away! The large dining room table was great for afternoon board games, and the deck perfect for watching sunrises in the morning and the brilliant stars at night. The house is on a quiet residential street, with heat for the cool evenings and a very efficient evaporative cooling system and ceiling fans for the couple of hot hours in the late afternoon. The owners provided many maps and brochures about hikes and attractions in the region, plus a park pass, which was very useful. We did not lack for a thing, and would readily return here again. However, while it wasn't an issue for us, since two members of our party are quite short, the third bedroom has four bunkbeds, which are truly only for children. Anyone over 5-foot 3 would have a difficult time.

Three ladies shared this lovely home for a few days and were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with all we needed, and the bedrooms were extremely roomy, with comfortable beds. The house made our stay very homey, and we enjoyed having our evening meal at home, enjoying the back deck, and the views. We would not hesitate to come back, if given the opportunity.

Left on 01/08/2010 for a stay in October 2009
This is our 2nd stay at this home. Last year we stayed here for the month of May. Our interest was to experience the different times of year and climate variations. This home offers the best of both worlds. It offers close proximity to Sedona and the more reasonable costs of Cottonwood. The home is conveniently located to allow a wide variety of sights and activities for a wide variety of life styles.
The home is comfortably furnished and maintained. It is great for the laid back style of a couple, yet flexible enough to handle the demands of the vacationing family. The views from the large back deck are spectacular.
Some of our favorite activities are home style meals at Brandi's Kitchen; great hamburgers at the Asylum Restaurant in Jerome; the Verdi Canyon Railroad (like taking a ride back in time); the Wildflower Restaurant in Sedona, informal, relaxing, and great;the jeep tours; and the Blazin' M cowboy show and chuckwagon dinner. These are some of our favorites. -

Left on 10/17/2009 for a stay in September 2009
Six "girls" who have know each other since high school and elementary school (almost 50 years) recently stayed in this very comfortable home for a week. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed touring the area. The location in Cottonwood was very convenient to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Oak Creek Canyon.
The home was very well decorated, fully furnished, and we felt like we were staying in a friend's home. The back deck was nicely laid out for eating and relaxing.
There were minor problems with the plumbing which were taken care of in a timely manner by the owner. We did have a little problem opening the lockbox to obtain the key to the house. I suggest that the owner include specific directions to open the lockbox.
I absolutely would stay in this house again.
