I found this home through Vrbo and selected it based on reviews from fellow travellers. I have rented many homes from such sites and let me tell you that this is the most amazing place you might choose. Upon our arrival, there was an unexpected gift basket of wine & treats as well as a beautiful home with an awesome view and a yard that I could only wish for at home with lounge areas, dining area and hot tub. The house is spectacular with modern yet 'western' furnishings; fully equipped kitchen and appliances; bedrooms with room to spare, especially the master bedroom, and even a telescope to view the night sky. Location is a bit out of town but really, if you're in the car anyway, what's another 5 minutes. Area is quiet (silent actually) and has a golf course open to the public just down the road. Kitchen is even supplied with extras (spices, coffee, foil, baggies, etc... all the extras that usually you'd head to the dollar store for). The home was well maintained & clean although we never saw any crew that looked after this. We thought that Sedona itself with its amazing vistas and hikes would be the highlight of this trip but as it turned out, this house was. Go for it!!

This home is in a subdivision outside of Sedona (5 miles), but you really didn't notice you had neighbors. Where to begin
The home is 3 beadrooms & 2 baths, a large living room, dining room, kitchen and utility room. The back yard was fantastic, so many nooks & crannies for sitting, eating, sunning - in the hot tub and the view was great. Each morning I started out in the hot tub looking at the view and watching the hummingbirds. The landscaping was beautiful. Our whole party of 4 was very pleased with this property. The inside was furnished very tastefully in a southwestern style. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Lots of extra bedding and pillows. And towels, tons of towels & washclothes.
The owners had thought of just about everything, we didn't lack for any amentities. We had dish soap, laundry soap, coffee beans in the freezer, drinking water, spices, just about every cooking utensil available (we didn't cook a whole lot but were nosey).
I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be a few minutes from Sedona and hiking, but wants to relax in a nice home rather than the busy hotel.
