My daughter and I came to the Casita on a Mother/Daughter yearly get away. We were not disappointed. The Casita was clean, comfortable, cozy, private and was tucked in amongst the Red Rocks in a friendly residential area just off the beaten path with easy access to what Sedona life has to offer. It felt like our home away from home. It wasn't easy leaving and we hope to be back soon.
Would you recommend this vacation rental to a friend?
Very peaceful and comfortable.

The casita has everything you need to make it your comfortable home-away-from home. Rick, the host, strikes the right balance between friendly and allowing you privacy. We woke up to the sound of rock doves calling every morning, a big difference from hotels.
We'd go back if we were in the area again.
Quiet, lovely retreat in Red Rock Country

Casita Red Rock is a relaxing guest house in Oak Creek Village. Sedona and Oak Creek Village are busy places, but the casita, three miles off State Route 179 on a paved room, is very quiet. Beautifully furnished and kept, with all the equipment and amenities needed, including washer and dryer. Very nice grounds with benches under the trees. Hosts available to answer questions and share information about the area.
Relaxing and just enough off the beaten path!

The Casita was perfect! We loved that it was out of the main part of Sedona and away from it all. The Casita was very cozy and perfectly appointed. We loved having the kitchen, grill, and laundry. Those red rocks sure do get you dirty quick! All in all it was a perfect stay. The only downside was that I didn't get to see a Javelina. Next time!

First, we wondered before we arrived whether or not the casita and its surroundings would actually look like the pictures. It is all every bit as beautiful as the photos and then some. There is no shopping center across the street, or garbage dumpsters under the window, just majestic red rock in three directions. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely for long walks. The space inside is comfortably arranged, cozy but not crowded and with so many little added decorative touches--as is the patio and surrounding garden. It is on a street out away from the madding crowd, but not so far as to be reclusive. The kitchen was so well equipped and easy to use that we cooked in almost the whole month we were there. Our hosts, Marie and Rick, took great care to make sure we had everything we needed, but were not intrusive. We had all the privacy we needed and wanted. As the listing indicates, our two small dogs were welcomed and loved their vacation away from winter. Really can't say enough about this lovely vacation home.
We slept until 10:00am every day.

This was the simplest Vrbo/Flipkey rental we have ever done. Bed was comfy - we slept until 10:00am every day. The location is slightly out of town. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed this as we live in a city and it was great not hearing emergency services sirens. If I have to have a negative comment we couldn't find a cheese grater. Good wi-fi. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure. Minor hiccup with my email address at start - solved with a telephone call. Everything was prompt. Damage deposit returned promptly. Paying by credit card simplified matters greatly.

Had a wonderful time.the Casita which is located in a quiet scenic neighborhood with wildlife. Saw dear and javelina ...and a mother javelina nursing a baby right in the middle of our street. Very good restaurants nearby. Sedona six miles away. Excellent location. The Casita itself is roomy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would rent this again!
Cozy and quiet

Such a cute property. We were very pleased with our stay. Upon arrival, the homeowner greeted. Although we didn't see her at all after that, she expressed that she was available at any time if we needed anything. The casita itself was stocked with everything you will need. It had a full kitchen, dining area, and comfortable living area with a flat screen tv and direct tv, allowing you to relax after a full day of exploring. It was very close to the market and restaurants and a short drive to the Bell Rock Trail. I would definitely stay here again!

If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you! What a delightfully furnished Casita, everything you need. And one of the most comfortable beds ever.
They have wi-fi but the only cell service at the house is verizon. We did not care because no phone calls only added to the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings.
Thank you, Randy & Candy

Great stay at Casita Red Rock!!

We recently stayed at the Casita Red Rock and couldn't have been more pleased. The little house had everything we needed. It was just as it looked in the photos. Lots of towels, hot water, heaters in case it is chilly, AC in case it is hot. Very comfortable furniture and great bed. Great bathroom. We liked the fact that in the kitchen there were spices, tea, coffee, and sandwich bags. Little things like that are very much appreciated. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook anything you want. The owners live behind the Casita but we never saw them the whole time we were there. In fact, we wanted to meet them, but never seemed to be able to find them in. There is plenty of privacy and the location in Oak Creek Village is great. Near everything but out of the traffic and congestion in Sedona. We highly recommend this rental.
Our home away from home.

Travelers can never be certain of what they'll find when renting from the internet. My wife and I were so pleased with this property. We referred to it as our home because of the welcoming atmosphere created by the owners and the personal effort and contacts from the owners to make sure our stay was perfect. We can not give a strong enough recommendation on this property. The pictures done fully demonstrate the warm surroundings. Add the beautiful gardens and privacy and you too will agree with our rating.
The casita is a perfect place for quiet, romance and convenience

My husband and I very much enjoyed the casita we stayed at in Oak Creek, just a short ways from Sedona. It was clean, decorated very nicely with all the amentities we needed. We had to call the owners once because we had a few general questions and they helped us out greatly. The only negative was that we did not get cell phone coverage and I missed an important call. Apparently it is spotty in the area depending on what service is used. This should not take away from the casita as it was charming, but it was a detail I would have liked to known up front. I do highly recommend this place and the price was very reasonable.
A delightful place

My husband, son and myself spent great Memorial day weekend in casita. The street is very quite, you hear sound of multiple birds, and no other noise. The house is very well equipped, and has enough space. Outside patio is lovely for morning coffee. Grill is well functioning, and allowed us to have couple of meals home. Owners are very helpful, while respecting your privacy.
Overall, great place, and would happily recommend it for anybody.
Quiet and peaceful!

The Casita was very clean, and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the area from the front door, while taking our dog on walks around the neighborhood. Close to the Village of Oak Creek, and 10 minutes to Sedona, we enjoyed hiking and biking on the trails nearby. Thank you to Maria and Rick for their hospitality, and we would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy all that Sedona has to offer!

We had a nice stay at the Casita Red Rock. The booking was easy and the instructions were clear for arrival. The owners were away but left contact information if needed. For the price of the rental, it was less than some hotels and you have a nice small house. The location was near all of the attractions of the area but in a very quiet setting. We will definitely return to the Casita Red Rock again!
Awesome location, very friendly owners... great stay!

Owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help with anything needed (printed some stuff for us from their house, gave us hiking pass etc), location is great, and very nice casita. I went there with a buddy for mountain biking/golfing trip and the locations worked well, but it is more setup for a romantic getaway or possibly family vacation. Only shortcoming was delayed refund of deposit from rental company.

We loved the Casita-- the family helped us get there from airport, made suggestions.
i loved being in such a peaceful place.
everything about the cottage was charming-- i felt like it had a magical charm.
my only regret is that we could not book the casita for our entire stay but hey, 3 days was great...
