Everything was first class
It was a very nice, clean, and quiet location. We didn't bother going out to eat - we ordered take-out most nights from a very good Italian restaurant, and enjoyed a bottle of wine and great views from our private balcony. Ken was an excellent host, giving us a lot of valuable tips the day we moved in. He also graciously provided a trail parking pass for the duration of our stay.
An added bonus was the fact that the Suites are only a 10 minute walk from a state park on Oak Creek. We enjoyed wading in the cool creek and enjoying beautiful sunsets after a full day of hiking. If I return to the Sedona area, I would certainly stay here again!

Very Attentive Host
My wife and I spent 3 very comfortable nights in this large efficiency suite with balcony overlooking Cathedral Rock. Ken spent 45 minutes with us upon our arrival, getting to know each other, and giving us great tips about things to do. We enjoyed buying Navajo jewelry directly from the artists (roadside next to Dairy Queen), hiking along Oak Creek, and spending a day in funky Jerome (30 minutes away).

Private, comfortable, warm and sunny!
Great time, Great place, Great hosts! You will love your time @ Sedona Suites.
This was a great condo in West Sedona! The views and accommodations were ideal. Friendly owners and a quiet area to recuperate from a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again!
Sedona retreat that's near perfect.
Sedona Suites offers a welcoming, comfortable, home-like retreat residence with easy access to Red Rock State Park, Cathedral Rock views, Crescent Moon Ranch and of course Sedona, Jerome and other nearby arizona destinations. Exquisite attention to detail has earned the property a Wildlife Habitat designation. Meanwhile, expect warm hospitality, fully equipped suites and privacy. I cannot think of one thing that I would change or improve upon except maybe to visit more often!
Relaxing and picturesque getaway!
We enjoyed our stay at the Sedona Suite in april 2014. The suite was convenient to Cathedral Rock and a few other trails in the area. Ken provided us with a wealth of information and recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area and the Pyramid Suite balcony was magnificent. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Sedona!

A Fantastic Eexperience
If you are looking for a clean, friendly and well situated place to stay in Sedona, Arizona - go no further. We just returned from a magical five nights in the Sedina Suite. The suite is quiet, comfirtable and a ten minute walk from one of the most beautiful parks in the area - Cathedral Rock. The hosts were amazingly kind and generous with information about the hikes, sights and eating places in Sedona. Ken went 'beyond the beyond' to ensure that our stay was positive and memorable. He even printed off our boarding passes for us for our return flight. There really wasn't anything we didn't appreciate about the Sedona Suite. Honest! I would really recommend Doe Mountain (as Ken suggested to us) if hiking is your 'thing' as The view from the top literally brought tears to my eyes. We just got back two days ago and we are already trying to schedule our return!
Peace and Quiet and Great Location for Hiking
Previous reviews were not exaggerating when they heaped praise on Ken and Heather's place. This is a relaxing place out of the hustle and bustle of touristy Sedona, perfect for relaxation and close walking distance to a number of great hikes. And massive Cathedral Rock stares down at you every time you walk outside.
If you want to be in the middle of obese thousands buying t-shirts and hunting the mystic vortexes and jeeps rattling all over, and sleep in a lumpy bed against paper thin walls, go stay in town. If you want peace and quiet and relaxation, a balcony, and a comfy big bed and the ability to walk a short way to a bunch of really nice (easy/moderate) trails and be right next to Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek, this is your place! And Ken's recommendations on hikes, activities, and restaurants are made from genuine love of the area, not from a tourist book. A definite return-to place when in Sedona.
Grand Marais, Michigan
Great choice for a get away
I live in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula so when I was searching for a place to stay in Sedona, I looked for an option that was in a quieter part of town. The private suite at Red Rock Crossing was exactly what I was hoping for. As you can see from their webpage, it is located in a valley a few miles outside of town. Since it is on a dead end raod, there was little to no traffic. Also, at the end of the road is a park along Oak Creek that is a close and worthwhile walk. The suite was terrific and Ken and Heather did a great job. I highly recommend Sedona Suites.

My wife and I both enjoyed our stay at this well maintained Bed and Breakfast (witout the breakfast). Our proximity to the river and hiking trails was exactly what we were looking for. Ken, the owner was also very helpful in explaining everything when we arrived. The room was well maintained and the property had a beautifully maintained yard that was available to enjoy.

Lovely condo just outside sedona
We spent christmas in the cathedral rock condo.
Very cozy with all amenities provided. We would highly recommend this condo. Ken is a great host, providing hiking and trail running recommendations as well as restaurant reviews. Located a bit outside Sedona- close enough to drive to enjoy the town, far enough away to fell like a getaway.
The added touch of all the cable channels was a nice little bonus. Nice to relax with the history channel at the end of the day
Home away from home
Our trip to Sedona for a week in November was not just a vacation but a pilgrimage journey. The beauty and serenity of Sedona was exactly what we needed for the week and Sedona Suite was the perfect home away from home for us. All of the high reviews posted are so accurate as well as the comments of how amazing Ken and Heather are as hosts welcoming their guests to their home. We were blessed to have found Sedona Suite, Ken, and Heather! Our time in Sedona was all that we hoped it would be and a big part of that was having the perfect comfortable and immaculate "home" to live in for our week. thank you Ken and Heather...we very much appreciated our time with you and Sedona. We will return!
We were cozy
We spent a most pleasant week in the Cathedral Room. It isn't spacious, but it is well-equipped and stocked with pretty good coffee, oatmeal, snacks. The microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and mini-fridge were quite satisfactory. Ken and Heather were clearly committed to our having a good experience. The location and the quiet suited our taste -- away from the main road and with a nice view of Cathedral Rock from our little balcony. I would happily return.
Red Rock Crossing is a beautiful place, and this a quiet, well-appointed suite from which to take in the beauty and step away from the hustle and bustle of life. Ken is a great host, so you have nothing to worry about beyond getting there and deciding how you want to spend your time away.
If you're searching for a wonderfully comfy, clean place to stay while you explore Sedona, you need look no further, in our opinion. Your hosts, Ken and Heather, are so knowledgeable about the area and willing to share. Their two suites are well equipped with everything you'll need including walking sticks, coffee/tea/soft drinks, and even energy bars for those hikes you're going to want to take. The drive to their place is spectacular as are the views from the suites. Without reservation we can highly recommend staying at Sedona Suites. Enjoy!
Can we move in?
I had never stayed in a home on vacation and I have to say this was the greatest experience ever. We stayed in the Cathedral Suite, named for the fantastic view of Cathedral Rock. We had our own entrance, reserved parking, private bathroom, kitchen amenities (no stove, but microwave, fridge, etc). The bed was so comfortable and Direct TV. Lots of books on the area and hiking were available to us. Our hosts also answered so many of our questions about where to go and what to see. It was such an enjoyable stay. We were also conveniently located near lots of amazing restaurants and hiking trails. Seriously will be back. Loved it.
Best Kept Secret in Sedona!
If you are looking for outdoor adventure and breathtaking sites and views of the magnificient red walks(walking distance)... go no further!
Sedona Suite and the owners Ken and Heather are first class all the way. The suite is very charming with all the immenities. Ken and Heather are very accomodating with all the travel info you may need for your visit to Sedona! The suite is outside of west Sedona away from all the tourist traps but you are only 10 minutes away from great restaurants and the great red rocks and attractions of Sedona! You feel you landed in paradise! Highly recommend!!
Lovely Stay - a total delight!
We were so glad to have chosen Red Rock Crossing as our location for our week long stay in Sedona. From initial enquiry to our check out the whole process and experience was fabulous. Ken and Heather are very welcoming and want you to get the most from your stay. The suite set up suited us perfectly, and we made the most of the facilities on offer. Ken and Heather have a good eye for detail and realise it's the little touches that separate you from the rest!. Being able to use the laundry facilities was a bonus too as we were on an extended vacation and packed lightly. There were lots of resources in the suite to help make our daily hiking choices, and extra tips and suggestions from Ken and Heather's welcome briefing meant our dining choices were more informed!.
Sadly the week was over too quickly, but we managed to eat brekafast at the "coffee pot" (another of Ken's suggestions) before our long journey to Tucson.
We hope to be back to enjoy more of Sedona, so who knows Ken you may see us again in 2014

Lovely spot to stay in a lovely place
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Sedona Suite at Red Rock Crossing! Ken and Heather made us feel very welcome and have gone out of their way to provide a lovely suite that is fully equipped. We enjoyed the extra touches as well - coffee, granola bars, oatmeal, soda, walking sticks, books on the area, etc. The grounds around their home are lovely as well as the views of the decks.
Gold Canyon, AZ
We feel very lucky to have found this place. The exterior staircase leads to private quarters. When we sat on our patio, the views were beautiful and we felt we should whisper so as not to disturb the peace and quiet. The high quality bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. We were as impressed with the accommodations as we were with Heather and Ken. They are gracious and informative, and very environmentally conscious. He built the house himself using hay bales, and the yard was landscaped so as to be certified as a wildlife habitat. Her efforts include cruelty-free products. Exceptional people, exceptional place. We would highly recommend this property.
Perfect Sedona get-away!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ken and Heather's perfect Sedona hide-away nestled in a quiet area at the bases of Cathedral rock. The approach to the house in absolutely breathtaking and you really have that sense of escaping the bustle of town while being very conveniently located to all the major area attractions, restaurants, etc. The garden on the property is a pure sanctuary where you can bask in the sun and read or nap. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a great little kitchen set up and the best coffee i have ever had! I already ordered some of this coffee to have at home. Really appreciated the book on the areas ten best hikes, as well.
Fabulous Red Rock Get-away
My husband and I recently spent 4 nights in the Pyramid Suite in Sedona,Arizona. All I can say is "wow". The unit we had was a studio but had a comfy king bed, a big bathroom,a small kitchen, and a great outdoor/private deck. Not to mention the view of Pyramid Mountain from our deck and Cathedral Rocks from the main entrance. The unit was perfect for the 2 of us , clean, and nicely appointed with local art. Ken greeted us with a great orientation to the area i.e. things like where to eat , shop, sightsee, and what not to do. The location is just out of town but I would not stay anywhere else. This is "the" place to stay in Sedona. Close to Red Rock Crossing (great place for a sunset or fantastic walks with views of Cathedral Rocks) and yet only a 15 minute scenic drive from town. Sedona itself has anything that you could want i.e. groceries, laundry facilities, along with all the restaurants and art galleries with local works. Don't miss the views from the airport...or better yet, an open-door helicopter tour if you have the time. We were blown away with the views from the helicopter !! The Mesa Grill,at the airport ,made a nice lunch stop for us before our tour. Would also recommend the great walk around Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock , just a bit out of town. Such beautiful vistas from everywhere you look. We enjoyed our side trip to Jerome ,about an hour from Sedona. Great little place for lunch, shopping, a late latte, and a lovely view of the valley. So much to do in and around Sedona ! Just add the Pyramid Suite, a cold beer , a nice sunset and you have the perfect vacation. Thanks again Ken for your hospitality.

Comfortable and memorable
We stayed four nights in the Cathedral Suite and two nights in the Pyramid Suite and liked them both for different reasons - both were well stocked with kitchen amenities and provided a small fridge, which we enjoyed so we could make our own breakfasts and lunches, and also were extremely clean, luxuriously appointed and comfortable. The location is great - away from the too-busy touristy part of Sedona, and although a little far from attractions on the other side of Oak Creek, very close to food and shopping in West Sedona, and also just down the road from the famous Red Rock Crossing and sunset views of Cathedral Rock. In fact, on our first night there, we walked down to witness "The Glow" on Cathedral Rock and got to witness a spontaneous wedding proposal when we paused at a more secluded viewpoint at the edge of a meadow near Crescent Moon Ranch. When we offered to take a young couple's photo, the man handed us his I-phone with wide eyes and miming the words "I'm about to propose" and we got to snap photos of him going down on one knee, proposing to his very surprised girlfriend (who luckily and immediately said yes), pulling out a ring and then embracing his new fiancee. We didn't get their names (we skedaddled out of there soon after to give them some privacy) and never saw them again, but I will never forget that "Sedona Moment." We wouldn't have had it if we didn't stay at the Sedona Suites.
One note: The wi-fi connection is immediate and great; however, we couldn't get cell phone service in the suites themselves. We could with just a short walk up the road though.
Beautiful setting in amazing place
We found our trip to Sedona enhanced by our stay in the home of Ken and Heather. The accommodations were more than adequate. The setting was only a short distance from viewing the sunset at Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek, one of our favorite sites. Ken was an informed host who graciously helped us plan our visit. Our only regret is that we weren't there longer.
What a lovely weekend!!!
I had a fabulous time in my Sedona Suite!!!
Thanks for making it my perfect weekend getaway!!
Wonderful accommodations and setting!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Sedona Suites". Ken and Heather went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Perfect place to stay in Sedona. Walking distance to hikes and running trails...away from the hustle and bustle but minutes from everything. Our hosts recommendations were spot on...from where to hike/run to getting organic chocolate!! Thanks for making our stay in your suite so comfortable and cozy. Ps loved the goodies you provide for all your guests!! Hope to be back next year and stay in our Sedona home away from home! Blessings, the O'Brien's

Great Weekend Getaway!
We feel very fortunate to have chosen Sedona Suite as our home base while visiting Sedona. We stayed in the Cathedral Suite and it actually exceeded our expectations (which doesn't happen often). We enjoyed exploring the area and got lots of beautiful photos of the area thanks to helpful info from Ken. We appreciated the many amenities in the room and helpful tips of places to visit and eat. It was a wonderful, although too short, getaway. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Sedona.

The Cathedral suite went beyond our expectations! It is located away from the touristy part of town in a beautiful location. We enjoyed sitting on our balconey watching the sun set on Cathedral Rock in the evenings. Our suite was tastefully decorated and had all the conveniences of home. Ken and Heather are wonderful hosts and Ken was very helpful in recommending restaurants, shopping areas, and places that had beautiful views. We loved Sedona so much we plan to return in the future and will definitely stay with Ken and Heather again. We highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed!
Enjoyable and comfortable beyond compare
We stayed in the cathedral suite for 4 nights. The entire experience was so very pleasant. Ken, heather, and dog buddy were truly wonderful hosts. The suite was extremely comfortable..nice size, and we didn't want for anything. The view from the balcony was so beautiful. The location couldn't have been more appealing to us.. Outside of the hustle and bustle of Sedona, but an short drive to get to town. A short ten minute walk to red rock crossing, and the beautiful vistas that can be seen from there. Don't pass up this place if you are considering a trip to Sedona

Quiet, beautiful, comfortable accommodations off the beaten path
We stayed at Sedona Suites on Sept. 9 & 10. Ken and Heather are very gracious hosts: they went above-and-beyond to make us feel welcome and take care of all of our needs, and were close-by and available if needed. Ken was very helpful with his recommendations for car tours, hikes, scenic spots, shopping, and restaurants. Cathedral Rock is within walking distance of the house and the hike was spectacular! We especially enjoyed eating at Cafe Jose's (5 meals there in 2 1/2 days!) Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable; furniture and linens were high-quality and the decor was inspiring. The home was built using hay bales and dirt (who would ever have guessed!) and the owners incorporated many environmentally-friendly techniques into the structure and grounds. We enjoyed talking to Ken about the building process. Although we were greeted by rain every day, we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sedona and would come back and stay with Ken and Heather again, and highly recommend the home to friends and family.
Hernando Beach, FL
Ken and Heather's Sedona Suites are in a perfect location. They are in a quiet residential area close to cathedral rock and many, beautiful hiking trails. You are 5 minutes to Sedona; the quiet side not the touristy side. It is about 15 minute drive to Oak Creek Canyon area where there are even more breathtaking hiking trails. (Can you tell we love to hike?) Ken and Heather are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything to make our stay just like home. The suite itself is perfect for 2; nicely decorated, spotless and comfy. There is a small fridge, microwave, sink bar type area. Perfect for chilling wine, water and keeping leftovers to warm up later! Ken is a wealth of knowledge about the area and his recommendations for everything from food, to directions, to hiking areas were right on! We loved it! Kudos to Ken, Heather and Buddy
Happy to recommend
Our stay in Sedona was magical. We were greeted by Ken upon our arrival and received a very thorough orientation to our Suite as well as highlights of Sedona. We started our stay with a walk to Cathedral Rock which was just outside our door and then enjoyed an amazing dinner at Pascal's. The suite was appointed with everything we could imagine. It was quiet and comfortable as well. I have and will continue to recommend this place to stay to anyone and everyone.
Wonderful place to stay. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, not far from town. The 2 rental rooms are separate from each other and only share an outdoor stairway. Each room quiet and private from one another with their own balcony. Pretty views from each balcony and a short walk to heavenly viewpoints. Ken's pictures are spot on. Ken and Heather were very nice and accommodating. Their restaurant and sightseeing recommendations were excellent.
Relaxing, Gorgeous and away from the Touristy Traps
My husband and I are a young couple in our 20s. We stayed in the Pyramid Suite over Labor Day weekend. The accommodations were beautiful and just as the pictures show. We made good use of the mini fridge and microwave, and had several meals on the private patio that's equipped with a table and chairs. The suite is located a few minutes from Cathedral Rock, where we hiked and swam. It's a 15-45 minute drive to restaurants and the other hikes we did, including Doe Mountain, Bell Rock/Courthouse Loop, West Fork and others that were across town or in a canyon. It's not what I'd consider a central location, but driving wasn't bad since the scenery is so beautiful. The suite had many guide books, maps and pamphlets filled with information about Sedona. Ken was very gracious and helpful as well; he gave us a mini tour via a map and print off of food and hiking suggestions. We'd stay here again.
The Cathedral suite's balcony is not completely private (shared stairs with Pyramid's front entrance), but the Pyramid suite's balcony is.
The Pyramid suite had beautiful decor, a soft bed and nice recliners, but the skylights/small windows without coverings made it difficult to sleep comfortably after 5:30 a.m. May not be a problem for some people, but we like to sleep in on vacation and couldn't with the sun shining so bright directly on us. We used pillows to block out the light, but you might want to be creative and bring tinfoil or something.
What a place to go for relaxation and fun
What an awesome place! The room was wonderful and the hosts were just delightful and accomodating. The room was stocked with oatmeal, snack bars, sodas, tea and coffee. Great to grab for a quick hike. Just minutes from the scenic Cathedral rock. Ken and Heather were a wealth of information about Sedona and surrounding areas. Their suggestions were awesome. We hope to return soon! A*UR!
My husband and I spent 4 nights in the Cathedral room and had a wonderful experience. It was comfortable and peaceful - just what we were looking for. Ken and Heather were terrific hosts offering all sorts of recommendations of where to eat, hike, visit, etc. We did some great hikes with excellent views. We certainly would recommend these suites to anyone traveling to Sedona, and we would most definitely stay here again on our next visit.

From the moment we arrived were welcomed and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were pleased with everything from the well equipped kitchenette, full cable flat screen, to comfortable recliners and bed. Cupboard stocked with coffee and supplies was a nice treat.
With only 2 nights in Sedona, Ken's advice on restaurants, scenic routes and shopping made our experience exceptional.

Beautiful and Peaceful
This was a rare find. It was a perfect way to end our stay in aZ. After staying in hotels for the beginning of our trip it was so nice to find this. Ken took the time to sit down and explain the area hikes in detail and answer any questions we had about things to do while we were there. He also suggested some great restaurants in the area. The room is stocked with maps and books that detail the area. He also provides a pass to the local parks to use during your stay. It was very peaceful and quiet and within walking distance to see the sunset at Cathedral Rock. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Oh...and Buddy the dog is such a sweetheart...he let us give him belly rubs so we were able to get our "dog fix" while we were there. Highly recommend staying here while you are in Sedona.

This is what you're looking for
I looked at dozens of hotel and resort options and many other private rentals. This place appealed to me out of the dozens of options I reviewed. It was everything it is advertised as and more. I truly feel that Ken and Heather deliver an experience, not just a place to stay. As a side note I choose this place without my wife's approval and she was surprised at how great it really was. We both loved the fact that you can walk to one of the areas greatest viewing/walking/hiking areas. Even if you want to explore other areas Ken enables you to do so with his knowledge of the area and passion for what Sedona is. I can honestly say that I am nervous to rate it so well because I want it to be an option to stay when we return. Thank you Ken and Heather!
We lucked out!
We took a last minute get trip to Sedona so we didn't spend a lot of time researching where to stay but felt like we truly lucked out. We will stay here again at some point. Just a short walk away from Crescent Moon Ranch where you can swim in the creek or hike Cathedral Rock. Or a quick drive to the main drag of town. The Beller's have made such nice accommodations. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. The Beller's take a lot of pride in their properties. I also appreciated that they provided us with a list of their recommendations for food and entertainment. That made our stay even more enjoyable.

Beyond a blast any 4th of July could offer!
Our host and his dog greeted us with a morning hike; immediately making us feel at home. Though hotels may offer benefits, we enjoyed not having to walk through nor be adjacent to noisiness(being nestled around beautiful high desert countryside). We enjoyed an early morning golf game 90min away in Williams aZ. All other activity (massage/spa,hiking,shopping,eating)and cool water fun @ Slide Rock State Park was enjoyed just minutes away. For our 4th of July stay, we definitely got more bang for our buck!
Home away from Home
My husband and I just returned from an awesome stay in Sedona with Ken, Heather & Buddy. We stayed in the Cathedral suite, which exceeded our expectations. It was cozy and very clean and the view of the red rocks was just spectacular. Ken met us when we arrived and gave us suggestions on where to eat, where to go and hike and fun facts about Sedona. If you are looking for a home away from home then look no further. You won't be disappointed!

Quiet, beautifully appointed with views
It was our pleasure to stay in this beautiful, well-appointed suite. Ken really is most knowledgeable about Sedona and most helpful in maximizing your time in the area. The house is an easy walk to Red Rock Crossing where there are beautiful views, quiet waters and paved trails. The area is quiet and away from commercial traffic, but convenient(by car) to stores, restaurants and areas of interest in Sedona and surrounding areas. Perfect for a couple. Thank you Ken and Heather.

We sure enjoyed our stay in the Pyramid Suite. It was so comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. The location is perfect with the short walk to view Cathedral Rock. Thanks again Ken for all the information you provided on area hikes and places to eat. Will definitely be booking the suite again!

Our stay in the Sedona area was greatly enhanced by the comfort and location of our lodging. I highly recommend this Suite as an alternative to they typical hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet. Advice and restaurant information provided by the owners assisted us in some lovely dining experiences that may have otherwise been missed.
Ecofriendly home away from home in a peaceful setting by the cre
Lovely and tastefully appointed room that made us feel right at home. I am also concerned with the environment and animal welfare and I was quite impressed with the Eco friendly building and cruelty free and organic products. The grounds are lush and gorgeous almost like a park like setting and it is located right up the street from the creek. Ken made us feel so comfortable and was a gracious host and answered all of the many questions I had. My boyfriend loved all of the convienient electrical amenities in the suite and I loved the balcony view of Pyramid rock. The bed was so comfy that I will begoing mattress shopping very soon! All in all a serene, comfortable and fab experience . Thank you Ken, Heather and Buddy for making our trip awesome!
one great last minute weekend get away!
Ken & Heather are 1st class! They met us at the exact time agreed upon- even a little bit early check in time! Ken is a great communicator and made sure we were comfortable knowing everything about the property. The bed is so Comfortable- looks like we will have to upgrade when we get the opportunity at home! Everything was thought of- full Direct tv menu...coffee in the kitchenette & wine glasses with opener! Ken was also so knowledgeable of hikes, trails and great places to eat! Ken & Heather do a 1st class job and I highly will recommend this experience!
Soothing and relaxing
What a treat!!! Loved meeting Ken and Buddy.
We found our balcony a soothing place to spend our evenings watching Pyramid Mountain with the star that would start at the peak and descend down the right side. The drive from 89a to our accommodations was breath taking to have that view was very special. Just down the street is the base of Cathedral
Rock the most photographed mountain in america. A very special place with all your needs full filled. Thank you Ken we will be back!!!
Best Vacation We've had yet!
From the moment we drove into town to Sedona we knew this would be a different experience with beautiful mountains all around. Heather and Ken were gracious hosts and they didn't miss a single detail in the Pyramid Suite. Everything was just right. Heather provided us with informative trail guides, places to see, and places to eat. Don't miss out on the restaurant Elote. The Pink Jeep tour at Broken arrow was quite an adventure and hiking the trails, all of which were nearby were great. The weather was perfect, our hosts were gracious, and Sedona was beautiful. Don't miss this place. It's well worth the travel and Sedona Suites is definitely the place to stay. We will be back!!
A delightful home away from home
From the moment of booking our stay to experiencing our stay, it was the 'whole package'! Ken welcomed us in, and took the time to give us an overview of our surroundings, great hiking tips, where to eat, and places to visit. It was delightful to be situated within the Red Rock State park, and to wake up at the crack of dawn with sunlight filling the room and Cathedral Rock beckoning, the entrance to the park just a 10 minute walk away. The Pyramid Suite was equipped with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and the bed was exceptional! Without a doubt we will return.
We had a great experience at Sedona Suites. Our room, the Pyramid Suite, was lovely ... even prettier than the pictures. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with everything you need, same for kitchenette. We loved the location, as well. The suites are a few miles outside of town, but we loved being away from other tourists and so near to the red rocks and beautiful views. Ken and Heather are great hosts and spent 45 min. with us when we arrived going over recommendations for restaurants, hikes, activities, and showing us around the suite. They checked on us daily when they saw us coming and going to make sure we were having fun and didn't need anything. Really nice people! Another bonus, Sedona Suites is a short walk to a pretty little river with beautiful views of Cathedral Rock at sunset. Make sure to head that direction at least 1 evening of your stay for a lovely sight! If/when we return to Sedona we will definitely be giving Ken and Heather a call to book a suite again.
Twenty-five years had passed since I last spent time in Sedona so I approached this trip with trepidation. But the private location in West Sedona, Ken & Heather's kind hospitality and fine workmanship on the house and gardens made Sedona Suites a wonderful choice. The Pyramid Room is fully equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I especially enjoyed the terrace views and walking to the nearby park in the morning. I look forward to my next visit at Sedona Suites!

Wonderful view, great owner, lovely place!
The owner met us as we parked our car and showed us around the grounds, his place and our room. His home is beautiful and for people who care about the environment, it is right up there. The location is quiet with a lovely view from the small deck area. Inside had about everything you could want for your stay- comfortable bed, working TV, nice bathroom, small kitchenette and some coffee, tea and snacks. The frig is very small, so don't plan on storing food that needs refrigeration. Best to eat out or bring prepared food back. Perhaps the only thing we missed was a comfortable chair in the room if you wanted to sit and read. Owners are delightful. Area is delightful unless you want to be in the middle of bustling Sedona. Ken is a good resource for hikes, eating establishments, etc. Would stay here again, but probably for no more than 3-4 days. We are retired teachers who enjoy privacy and quiet.
great weekend get away
Our stay was april 12-14. Ken is a wonderful host and was very helpful giving us tips on where to eat, hike and catch the amazing sunset views of Cathedral Rock. I would recommend Sedona Suites to anyone who wants a quiet intimate setting with amazing views!

Nobody Does It Better!
Hotel room downtown..over priced resort room in the middle of the traffic area?...forget about it. Peace, tranquility, seclusion, and yes perfection. That is what is waiting for you at the Suites @ Red Rock Crossing. From opening up the doors to your private suite to greet the morning and watch the sun rise while listening to the birds sing, to witnessing the beauty and splendor of the sunset over the canyon as well as hearing the coyotes at night. And all without the crowds associated with the area! Absolutely Wonderful Vacation!!! If you are reading this review, we researched the area in the same way that you are doing. Stop and look no more. You have found exactly what you are looking for. Ken and Heather have spared no expense and provide you with everything you need or could want while in Sedona. Ken and Heather...I want that king size bed in the Pyramid Suite!!! We will be back!!!
My stay at Sedona Suite was very relaxing. Lot of fresh air and hiking. I enjoyed the fact that the suite was just outside of Sedona. Ken and Heather are very relaxed. The suite was clean and quiet. The view was amazing! The grounds of the home are beautiful. When asked, Ken is quite talkative and knowledgeable about leaving a small carbon footprintI highly recommend this cozy get away for anyone.
Short stop in Sedona
We loved every minute we spent in Sedona. Ken was a gracious host. The unit was clean and well stocked. He offered any assistance that he could provide and had maps and information on area attractions in the room. The unit is about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area. We highly recommend grabbing a picnic dinner and walking down to Cathedral Rock from the unit for sunset. Thanks Ken!
Perfect accommodation in a great location. Close to everything but quiet and out of the "busy" areas. Able to walk out the door and hike to the Cathedral. Owner very helpful with suggestions of places to see and recommending places to eat. An overall great experience. Thanks!
Western New York
The cathedral room was just what we were looking for. King size bed was very comfortable, WiFi worked well, and location was just a short drive into the heart of Sedona. Unit was clean, stocked with organic coffee, herbal teas, oatmeal, and granola bars. Kent's recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were very helpful. Will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

A great value and lovely hosts...would definitely return!
We were so happy with this stay in Sedona! Clean, spacious, and well-stocked room, generous hosts...a few minutes from one of Sedona's must-see's (Cathedral Rock). If you want to be in the heart of town, this is not the place for you...but it is close enough that shopping and eating is 10 minutes drive away. We loved the peace and the starlit sky at night. Plenty of local guidebooks left in the room, and the park pass was a lovely touch! Great restaurant and hiking recommendations from Ken, and the loan of those two hiking sticks in the room made us look and feel like pros on the trail!! Thank you so much and we hope to return soon with our daughter.

My favorite Vrbo stay
Ken was there to greet me and was available to answer my questions. Ken and Heather provided maps and guidebooks, restaurant choices, hiking and a parking pass to most of the nearby parks.
Great location and an easy walk to Red Rock Crossing and quiet.
The Pyramid Suite was clean and well maintained. I recommend this rental and would stay here again.
Thank you Ken and Heather.

Great Christmas Getaway
Wow! After we spent hours looking for accommodations in Sedona, I came across Sedona Suites.I read tons of their reviews and chose Sedona Suites not because of the rave reviews that the accommodations got but for the reviews of Ken and Heather. And as soon as we met Ken, we realized that the reviews were spot on. Ken is an outstanding "tour director", his knowledge of the Sedona area is a great asset to visitors. We did a lot of the things on his "do list" and were very very happy his recommendations. Our suite was the Cathedral, and was very spacious for the two of us. The bed was great, the furnishings beautiful and the shower was over sized. We will be returning to Sedona, and we will plan our visit around the availability of the Sedona Suites.

A great find! Private, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, first-class accommodations, and our host Ken is a great guy. Though the property is a quick drive away from West Sedona (the main part of town), it feels like you're far away from the city. We would definitely recommend staying here and for the price, it's truly a great value.

Comfortable and quality
This studio unit exceeded our expectations with a a beautiful setting at Red Rock Crossing. A short walk to spectacular sunset view at Red Rock. The studio is beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed with custom bedding, comfy recliners, flat screen TV with satellite, microwave, mini fridge stocked with soda, toaster, coffee pot and coffee, teas, creamers and sweeteners. Also stocked with flatware, plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Heather and Ken even provided yummy instant oatmeal for breakfast. From the moment we arrived, Heather and Ken welcomed us warmly, yet were not intrusive. This is a perfect setting for a couple who loves the outdoors and solitude.

Ken & Heather,
Thank you for providing your home for us to stay in while vacationing in arizona. Your home is tucked in a valley that has a very peaceful, tranquil & scenic setting. Also, Buddy is such a sweet dog. We enjoyed so many beautiful sites in arizona & have many photos & memories of our vacation. We would definitely recommend your home to anyone staying in Sedona.

If you want a quiet restful place to stay, this is it. We aren't much for the larger hotels so this was perfect. It's in a residential area...you hear the coyotes at night...and you have the perfect view of Cathedral Rock. There's really nothing bad to say...it was perfect!

Sweet stay at Sedona Suite
My husband and I spent four great nights in the Cathedral studio. The room was very spacious and spotless with a wonderful view. It was well stocked with coffee, oatmeal, snack bars, and teas. The location, a three minute walk from Red Rock Crossing, was perfect. Not too far from town but away from all the bustle of town. Ken and Heather were wonderful hosts with excellent recommendations regarding restaurants(Elote our favorite), tours, and day trips. This was our first trip to Sedona and we made a great choice staying at Sedona Suite.

just the right place
this is a great location, not too far out, but not in town by all the tourist places. ken and heather were very helpful with info on trails, places to go and not to go, even with them being vegans, restaurant suggestions to places called "bodacious burgers":).
they both seemed very unpretentious and made us feel very comfortable. we love to hike and the hiking books @ the place location were perfect for us. we have to come back and get some of the hikes we didn't get to. last point the place has everythoing you need and we thought the price was very reasonable.

A great week at Sedona Suites
Sedona Suites is a great bargain, good location, great view of Cathederal Rock, especially at sunset. Ken is very knowledgeable of the area a gave great tips on where to eat, hike and provided maps and guides in the room. The property is beautifully landscaped and provides a nice quiet, relaxing home away from home. It is so easy to drive to all the sites from here. The room is well furnished, immaculately clean and very well maintained.
*** Catherdral Room with a view! ***
We loved every second of it! You have a wonderful place! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven. We would certainly recommend Sedona Suite to friends and family.
The only down side was spotty cell and wireless, and in a place like Sedona that is hardly a negative.
Jimmy and Michael
There is nothing negative that can be said about Sedona Suites.
Ken and Heather are excellent hosts - within minutes of meeting them it felt like we had known them for a long time. They were very welcoming, along with their pet, Buddy. They know the area well and gave excellent recommendations on things to see, hiking trails to go to, and the best restaurants in the area. The suite is a very short drive into town and would also be a great hub for taking day trips to other areas of arizona. We stayed in the Pyramid Suite - the place is awesome!! The bed was extremely comfortable and the views are incredible. There is a refrigerator, microwave, plates, etc., and oatmeal is provided, along with a supply of granola bars, a few soft drinks, and coffees/teas. This place has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There are 2 suites which can be rented and both are beautiful. We will definitely be returning to Sedona and, when we do, we will stay nowhere else but Sedona Suites. We have nothing negative that can be said and we can't possibly say enough positive things about this place.

We enjoyed both the excellent facility and the quiet, beautiful
It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Sedona Suite for this past week in May. Ken and Heather are marvelous hosts, and helpful advisors for just about anything a guest may need or want, including pertinent advice on restaurants, hiking trails, shopping - the list could go on. I especially liked the location - a quiet area about a 5-minute drive away from bustling highway 89-A. Just a couple of hundred yards down the road was Crescent Moon Park, a lovely area by the banks of Oak Creek, and perfect for a shady picnic, or, what we especially enjoyed, a walk about an hour before sunset, when we watched the gorgeously changing light on Cathedral Rock. This was our first trip to Sedona, and we feel quite lucky to have chosen Sedona Suite as our place to stay.

A Wonderful Place away from the road, yet not too far
Everyone has questioned themselves as they turn the key to a room rental - will this be as nice as the photos? Is it comfortable, a welcome spot to hole up in or be a nice home base to return to??
The answer is an unqualified yes. We had a marvelous stay at Sedona Suites. We loved its location off the main road, but it is close enough to get to town easily. It is near Oak Creek and hiking. Our hosts Ken and Heather were warm and welcoming, and they gave us great meal and trip/hike suggestions.
Our room had a marvelously comfortable bed. We were so busy roaming around that we did not turn on the TV/use the DVD player once. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and oatmeal/granola bars, which was much appreciated. We ate our breakfast on the private porch each morning, looking at trees and a hillside and listening to the birds.
We used the a/C a couple times to cool the room down, as the weather was warming up. The a/C, along with the ceiling fan, works well. The studio kitchen is nicely stocked with clean utensils and plates, and there is a coffee maker, toaster and microwave.
The only downside I can think of is that the units are up a flight of stairs w/o an elevator, if there is a concern about access.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Ken and Heather's Sedona Suites is highly recommended!

Our first time visiting, rather than just ponder the thought of one day staying as we passed by.
You both made it a most memorable experience. Thank you for the hospitality and all the tourist information provided which was most helpful.

quiet and comfortable with a personal tour guide
A short 3 day stay, but felt so welcomed and at home in the first hour. The hosts, Ken and Heather were eager to share their knowledge of the area but always afforded us privacy. The rooms were beautiful, the attention to detail... Can't say enough about our stay. Don't miss out on Ken and Heather' s picks for dinners and hikes. A perfect vacation!

Located in the outskirts of Sedona this unit has everything, great views, quiet, very comfortable, extreemly clean and within a 5-10 minute drive to almost everything. Ken and Heather's recomendations for dining were fantastic. Will return when next in the area.
Beautifully situated, superb bed, hospitable*** host!
My husband and I just got back from 6 nights at Sedona Suite, staying in the lovely Cathedral studio. The room is beautifully set up and the bed and bedding of the highest quality leading to superb nights' sleep! The earth colors work perfectly with the outdoor views of Sedona. We arrived in a surprising snow storm, the white snow adding to the beauty of the red rocks. We were warmly greeted by Ken, the owner, who after 5 minutes offered his winter parka to my husband for the duration of our stay. That gesture typifies the generosity of the owners. Ken gave us suggestions of where to go that first day for lunch (Wildflower Café, with great soups and salads/sandwiches). He gave us maps and invited us to join him on his walk with his wonderfully sweet dog, Buddy, to Red Rock Crossing, a walk we wound up taking a couple of times in the morning. The room is supplied with packages of organic oatmeal, snack bars, coffee and teas. When I asked about a particular flavor of the oatmeal, Ken went to find more packets for us. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is tastefully done as well. There is only a microwave and small refrigerator, so don't plan on making elaborate meals. We picked up items at a natural foods supermarket and enjoyed salads a few nights we opted not to go out. Coming back at night, don't forget to look up into the night sky. You may see more stars than you've ever seen in your life, right on the property! For peace and tranquility and with easy access to lots of hiking, views, restaurants, please treat yourselves to a stay at Sedona Suite.

My husband and I just returned from a two week vacation in Sedona and had the great good fortune to have chosen Ken and Heather's Cathedral Suite as our home-away-from-home. Our accommodations were spotless, and included passes to the National Parks in the area. Ken and Heather are gracious, attentive (without being intrusive) and full of wonderful suggestions for dining and exploring. The location of Sedona Suites is perfect! You are minutes from Cathedral Rock and minutes from rte 89 which is the main artery of Sedona. We give Sedona Suites 5+ stars and highly recommend staying there on your next trip to that beautiful part of the country.
The Perfect Getaway ...Hiking, Sun, Relaxing...Private
We had three wonderful nights in te Pyramid Suite. Great hiking close and within short drives of the south side of Sedona. Ken was extra helpful in orienting us to the area, without ever being intrusive. It was very quiet, clean and oh, so comfortable. We would return.
Amazing little suite
First off, I just want to commend Ken and Heather for being so accomodating to a last minute schedule change. They were very understanding andlet us change the dates without any trouble! The suite was very comfy and clean with all kinds of great extras like coffee, oatmeal, etc... The location was perfect to see almost anything around Sedona and was a quick walk to Red Rock crossing and Cathedral Rock.
It was the perfect place for a short stay in Sedona and a great view out front. It had everything we needed and Ken was very knowledgeable about the area.
Thanks again to Ken and Heather for your hospitality!

Beautiful, warm, and inviting place to stay.
We've stayed at many places during our travels, but few have truly given us the feeling of being right at home. Right from the start, the owners were very warm and welcoming--eager to make sure we were happy and comfortable with our accommodations, and very helpful in providing guidance/advice/insights to local sighting treasures and places to eat we would have otherwise definitely missed. The home is in a wonderful location with scenic beauty all around, and just a short distance (really, just a 10-15 minute walk) to one of Sedona's most photographed sites--Cathedral Rock. The beautiful architecture of the home and surrounding landscaping, and the tasteful interior decor and thoughtful amenities, make this the perfect place to "come home to" after a long day of hiking and sightseeing activities. During the warm late afternoons, or sometimes first thing in the morning, we made sure to take advantage of the veranda off our room to enjoy a hot cup of tea/coffee, listen to the birds, and take in the spectacular view. Wow--it was great! Rain or shine, we loved every day we spent here. Only complaint, if you're a very light sleeper you might be disturbed by loud guests staying in the adjacent room--as the walls between rooms appear not to be that well insulated. We would definitely stay here again...clean, convenient, comfortable, friendly. Read more
Response from Ken and Heather - 03/05/2012
It was such a pleasure to have you as our guests. We are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us and we are very sorry that the guests in the adjoining room were so loud. We did our best when building the rooms to isolate them from each other with six-inch walls that are sound-boarded on both sides and insulated in between. Unfortunately, at times, we get guests who are not aware of the carrying power of their voices or who close drawers and doors very loudly and the sound reverberates through the walls. In an effort to help combat this even further, I have since installed felt bumpers on all cabinet drawers and doors to help reduce the noise even further. We look forward to having you come back to stay with us again in the future.

A peaceful oasis away from home.
Our suite at Ken & Heather's home, combined with the beauty of Sedona, was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Ken was wonderful about supplying us with recommendations regarding restaurants, hiking trails, tours and even massages. He even loaned us a cooler to pack a picnic for our day trip to the Grand Canyon. When the temperature is right (a little cool in January) the deck of the Pyramid Suite provides an amazing view to enjoy a glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again and hope to be back.
Wonderful honeymoon stay!
We spent our honeymoon in beautiful Sedona. We were lucky to have reservations at Ken's because it was the perfect place for two to stay. Ken and Heather were very receptive and helpful to all our questions and needs. The room was comfortable and clean in every aspect and we were very satisfied. Not to mention the price is one of the best in Sedona! We recommend any one staying there, because we will for sure again.
It was wonderful, peaceful, beautiful and well done altogether
Ken and Heather greeted us warmly and showed us to our suite, before giving us maps and insights to the area. The second floor suite was well furnished, with comfortable king sized bed, mini-kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, snacks and dishes. The bathroom was spotless and beautiful, with plenty of hot water in the shower. There was also TV etc but we never used it. At night, it was perfectly quiet and from the porch we had a stunning view, and a short walk to one of the area's popular sights. I will stay here when I return to Sedona.
Star gazing and hearing coyotes sing
Ken, Heather, & Buddy (super friendly family dog) were wonderful and gracious hosts!
Ken made sure they were around when we checked-in and then they graciously spent 30 minutes or more, making us feel at home by sharing all of their maps, travel brochures, advice on where to eat, and must see sights (e.g. Indian ruins). They even saved us time and $ by lending us their two Red Rock trailhead passes. We instantly felt like locals.
In addition, we also enjoyed reading their books (left for us to read by our bedside) and intriguing conversations with them afterwards.
If you like to get up early, love sunrises, and go for neighborhood walks, then I would recommend their cozy Cathedral Suite. We hope to return every year for a 3 day weekend; anything longer, I would recommend renting a condo.
Response from Ken and Heather - 11/11/2011
It is always nice for us to have such wonderful people share our home with us. We look forward to having you stay with us again next year!
People always ask me which suite they should reserve. It is hard to say because about half our guests prefer the Cathedral suite and about half prefer the Pyramid suite. It seems that for those who plan to spend most of their time out and about experiencing Sedona, and not all that much time in the room, then our Cathedral suite, with its amazing view of Cathedral Rock, is a wonderful choice. For those who plan to spend more time in the room, or really enjoy lounging around in the mornings or evenings, then I recommend the larger Pyramid suite with two big recliners and a private balcony view of Pyramid Rock. Also, while both of our suites have kitchenettes, which include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, flatware, dishes, plus organic fair-trade coffee as well as tea and snacks included for free, if you want to do any real cooking on a stove or oven on your vacation, then a full-sized condo might be a better choice.
We stayed in the Pyramid Suite, and couldn't have been happier! Ken was always available for questions, directions, and recommendations. The details and touches they do for their guests such as snacks, passes for the parks, and special soaps, truly made us feel right at home!
A hotel just can't compare to the outstanding hospitality and comfort that we had at Sedona Suites!
Wonderful!! Every thoughtful detail covered!
What a lovely place with such gracious and friendly hosts! Every detail was attended to. The room was so comfortable, clean, and thoughtful. The balcony was a perfect place for a glass of wine in the evening. And we loved being able to walk just down the road to Cathedral rock early in the morning or late in the evening. Stay here - you will enjoy it!!

Very clean, very comfortable and quiet. Heather and Ken were gracious and helpful hosts. The 10 minute ride to the Sedona restaurants and shops has many beautiful scenic overlooks. When we vacation in Sedona again, we will stay at Sedona Suites.
Awesome Suite in Sedona
Awesome most beautiful place in USa to visit.
We have stayed all over the USa and Ken and Heathers place in Sedona was definitely an experience we will remember for a long time. Ken was so helpful giving us ideas from where to eat to what to see from Red Rocks to the Grand Canyon. They provided wonderful coffee, granola bars, teas, cokes and even loaned us a cooler to take to Canyon with us and gave us great easy to follow directions. Their suite was so beautiful as was all of their property. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. God created a magnificent world but He really liked the colors of Sedona. Ken did an awesome job building his home. We will definitely stay again when we return. 5 stars from Jim and Mary from Florida.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Stay
The Cathedral Suite is a beautiful, so comfortable, spacious suite in a fabulous private home and lovely setting. The grounds and view are beautiful, location is perfect...close to Sedona but away from traffic and noise. We greatly appreciated the attention to detail of the structure and accomodations by Ken and Heather, as well as their time saving and wonderful recommendations on where to go and what to do. We cannot speak highly enough of our wonderful experience at Sedona Suite and with the Bellars and hope to return for a longer stay next time!
Ken and Heather were warm and hospitable and the studio was welcoming and comfortable. Upon arrival, Ken walked us through the various conveniences, provided us with a map of the area, and supplied us with recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and shopping. You could not ask for better hosts!
The apartment was very comfortable and attention was paid to even the smallest of details. The location was superb - it is away from the touristy sections of uptown but close enough to be convenient. It is literally a short walk to the trail to view Cathedral Rock (which you can see easily from the balcony). I have recommended this place to my in-laws for their next Sedona vacation.
Oh, and I highly recommend checking out Jerome - it is a short drive and well worth it! :-)
First visit to Sedona
Ken and Heather are wonderful hosts. Ken had great tips and money saving suggestions that we really appreciated. We had a wonderful trip and experience in Sedona staying at Sedona Suites. Highly recommend!
Round Rock, TX
We stayed in the Pyramid Suite. Our room was wonderfully comfortable, a much nicer experience than a cold hotel room. The location couldn't have been any better. Sedona Suites is nature at its best. Something beautiful to walk to or look at around every corner. We felt very blessed that Ken and Heather shared their lovely home with us. This was one of our best vacation experiences ever! We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and this was certainly the perfect place.
Best kept secret in Sedona
Beautiful place, wonderful people, outstanding accomodations
I rarely say that I totally loved where I stayed, but this place I absolutely did. The accommodations were reasonably priced and at the same time appointed like a suite at the Four Seasons. Ken and Heather are not only 2 of the nicest people you would ever want to meet, they went out of their way to make sure our stay in Sedona was an unforgettable one. The room included passes to all of the local state parks saving us hundreds in fees. Our room had a lovely kitchenette allowing us to make our breakfasts and lunches right in our room. The view right from our balcony was dramatic...Bottom line, they exceeded my expectations in every way and we will be back! Thanks again!
Comfort with Red Rock Splendor
Ken and Heather were wonderful hosts as well as community guides. Ken has built a wonderful home/business. Our living space was clean, comfortable and efficient. In addition to a beuatful view of Cathedral Rock from the veranda, we were close enough to Sedona proper for easily setting out to meals or further afield to the scenic attractions. Ken gave us a great tip during our first minutes after arrival: a beutiful park is in walking distance from his home. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations and have already recommended Sedona Suite to friends.
Great place and location
We enjoyed our stay. The apartemnt is centrally located to all activities and has everything you would need. Very quiet and private. The host gave us great recommendations for hiking and restaurants.
Natural beauty and quiet
Feb 21- 19, 2011
I just returned home from a week-long stay at Sedona Suite. I am hesitant to list all the wonderful things about this place for fear of not being able to get another reservation when I return. But I will say that I was most impressed with Ken and Heather's commitment to the natural environment in everything they do. They have successfully demonstrated that luxury and comfort can go hand-in-hand with environmentally-friendly practices. Ken and Heather's hospitality and attention to every detail made this such an enjoyable place to stay. And Buddy (the sweetest dog ever) almost made me forget how much I missed my own pets. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Sedona.

Great place, location and owner. We had a very enjoyable weekend.

A scenic peaceful week in Sedona.
March 12 - March 19 We could not have been happier! We loved the scenic drive in from town, the beautiful view from our balcony, the peace and quiet which would not have been possible in a hotel. Everything we needed was there, including park passes for the area. Ken and Heather were friendly, helpful, and always available if we had a question about directions or restaurants. They definitely give the personal touch. I am a clean "freak", and our suite was absolutely spotless. Even the grounds are neat! We enjoyed the beauty of Sedona, the weather, the hikes, and the friendly people. It was especially nice to be so close to Red Rock Crossing - just a short walk down the road. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, scenic place to stay for their Sedona vacation. Thank you so much, Ken and Heather! Our week in your home was wonderful!
Great Sedona Views
Great location in the beautiful Sedona. Ken and Heather were amazing providing great restraunt tips, hiking trail ideas, and even the passes to visit the amazing surroundings. Their property is large with lots of space to relax and close enough to the city to stay busy.

Home Suite Home
We were very pleased with our accomodations at Sedona Suites. Not only was it located in a quiet section of Sedona, it was beautiful as well. To wake up to the birds singing was a plus. Very close to all shops and restaurants as well as Red Rock Crossing State Park. Passes to other state parks were provided so we did not have additional ezpenses. With the fridge, microwave, toaster and use of a cooler, we were able to picnic a lot and enjoy all the scenic beauty. Breakfast and coffee were enjoyed on the outside deck as the the sun came up. We would certainly recommend the Sedona Suites to anyone visiting the Sedona area. Ken and Heather are very knowledgeable of the area and are willing to share references for restaurants and places to visit. Very clean, comfortable and inviting suite.

Totally sweet Sedona retreat.
We have now had the very great pleasure of staying at Ken and Heather's place on a couple of occasions. Located a relatively short walking distance from the beautiful creekside trail that winds its way through Red Rock Crossing towards Cathedral Rock, the whole local area is a hiker's paradise...our favorite Sedona activity. The physical accommodations are most comfortable...just the right amount of rustic with a small and welcome nod to luxury (including really comfortable beds, satellite TV, and personally controlled heating/AC). Guests should probably know that there isn't a big kitchen set up here, but there are some nice amenities like a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a microwave and lots of healthy snacks. (Compliment Ken on his awesome vegetable garden during growing season, and there could well be a really fresh salad in your future.) Like the property's gracious hosts themselves, a stay here yields just the right amount of comfort...cordially attentive without ever being overbearing. All in all, it's a perfectly sweet place for "being" in Sedona rather than just visiting there. We can't wait to go back.

Relaxing and comfortable place away from home...
We had the opportunity to stay at the Cathedral Suite after visiting the Grand Canyon. The suite was spotless, comfortable and homey. It is one of a kind especially it is built using "natural materials" promoting sustainability and the design shows environmentally friendly concepts. The decor was tasteful! We enjoyed hanging out at the porch overlooking the Cathedral Rock and observing a glimpse of sunrise. The place is a walking distance to the base of the Cathedral Rock and it is a short drive to the center of Sedona. Our host (Ken) provided us great tips about the city including restaurants and hiking trails. He is personable and made every detail of our stay enjoyable and memorable. We will surely refer this place to family and friends who will be visiting Sedona in the future.
Fantasic Room/Very accomodating Hosts
My husband had a conference in Phoenix and we decided to spend a weekend in Sedona. Sedona was so much more awesome than we imagined. We had a fantastic time in this beautiful little town. What made our stay even better were our wonderful hosts! Ken gave us all sorts of info on great things to do. He was very helpful and very kind. If we go back to Sedona, we will def. be staying here again and will def. recommend to friends and family going to Sedona!

Incredible Sedona Retreat
This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations and was the perfect spot from which to discover all the incredible sights Sedona and the surrounding area have to offer. The property is beautifully kept and we felt at home immediately. The pictures do not do it justice. I do not recall a more hospitable host or outstanding environment in recent travels and this experience ranks among some of the best I have ever enjoyed, due in no small part to the wonderful attention paid to every detail at this property combined with an outstanding location.
Perfect Sedona retreat - serene and elegant
Heather welcomed us like visiting family. The suite had everything we needed. It was outside the bustle of town but only minutes to drive in. We walked to the most beautiful part of the creek and the park, and hiked endlessly. The small kitchen allowed us to eat in when we wanted. The grounds were peaceful to enjoy. We are veterans of Sedona but this is the only place we'll stay in the future.
