Situated in a pretty medieval village in the Var region of the French south coastal area, this modern villa offers spectacular views over the valley and neighbouring village. There is a private 10 x 5 metre pool and a boules court. The half acre of land and tall hedges allow for privacy. The village centre is a short walk away. The villa is south orientated and the 4 sets of French windows downstairs allow light to stream into the open plan arrangement. Seillans is one of a series of pretty ancient "villages perché" or perched villages set on the hillsides in the Var region of Provence. The village is small but beautiful. As well as food shops there are several restaurants and artists workshops selling all manner of craft. There is lots of opportunity for walking in the area. There are many golf courses with a notable large one (Terre Blanche) only 20 minutes drive away. There is a large lake, Lac de Saint Cassien, a 20 minute drive away where one can fish, swim or hire pedaloes. The Côte d'Azur with it's many beaches and resorts is a 45 minute drive away. In the winter there is a ski resort at Gréolières les Neiges, about a 1.5 hour drive away. A car is normally required to reach the villa. There is ample parking in the drive with electronic gates.
