One of my favorite experiences anywhere in SE asia, Villa annecy has it all, from impeccable design, to the imported fittings, through to a superb courtyard pool. The villa's location (5 mins walk down an old lane) helps emphasize it as a luxury retreat, yet close enough to walk to any number of excellent restaurants. Truly outstanding...

We stayed with another family and we all have kids. While we were preparing for breakfast at 7am, kids are already in the water, since the pool is right next to the living room. In the afternoon, we called in massages and was arranged in the pagoda next to the pool. Great restaurants and shops near-buy. Good service and all the facilities (kitchen, washing machines), which is convenient for a family. A real fantastic experience.

Loved, loved, loved my stay at Villa annecy. It exceeded all my expectations. The best thing was the overall quality – no detail was overlooked
Huge open living dining kitchen area overlooking the pool and garden. Tick
European style kitchen with all mod cons and staff that cook if you want. Not only that but they also clean, wash up and make the beds every day Tick.
Free Wi-Fi and a good selection of cable channels on every TV, as well as a DVD and iPod dock. Tick
air conditioned bedrooms with king size beds and fully equipped en-suites. Oh and two have day beds in them too. Tick
It’s in a perfect position in Seminyak, 5 minutes’ walk from the main street with plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. Tick
a house and an annex so you can have some separate family time if you want. Tick
Not too precious about sticking to the 8-10 guests guideline, we had 12 with no problems
and the icing on the cake? The airport transfer was included and the driver found us with no problems
The pool and Jacuzzi were much bigger that I thought they’d be – a good 11 metres long with a FaB springboard if you love to dive or just jump. Smaller pool for kids. Tick tick tick.
I think you get the idea.

Villa annecy is great for families and conveniently located to both shops and the beach (5 minute walk in either direction). Very spacious rooms with large swimming pool & diving board provided endless hours of fun for 3 families including 6 kids (age 5-10). Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Villa annecy in april 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous place. Our two kids, aged 10 and 7 at that time, spent most of their time jumping in and out of the great pool while we enjoyed lounging around it so much that we rarely left the villa. When we did leave it was invariably for dinner in one of the many great restaurants that are within easy reach of the property.
A great touch that we really enjoyed was the illumination of the villa every evening with candles around the pool and lavender scent drifting around the house.

Everything was perfect from the airport pick-up; the 5-star hotel quality beddings; a lovely big swimming pool; the friendly staff in the villa cooking us breakfast, taking care of our laundry, booking restaurants and local massage in the balinese hut in the garden.
Great location, with 3mins walk to the main shopping street in Seminyak, 7mins to the children friendly flat, wide, beach with beach front restaurants of all kinds. We had great fun buggy boarding and the kids (and adults for that matter) loved the Waterbom aquatic fun-park. -

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa annecy. I have been to Bali many times, but this was by far the best accommodation I have stayed in.
From the first communication with Made, the villa manager, to being picked up and dropped off at the airport, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The staff was helpful and the villa is clean and kept in top condition. We were also able to easily rent a car and organise excursions from the comfort of our poolside chairs.
The villa is very roomy and stylishly decorated, and the garden with the gazebo is perfect for relaxing. The pool is also very nice and the ability to eat or have drinks while sitting in the pool next to the kitchen is a nice feature. The springboard is another fun feature, and something most villa pools dont seem to have.
The location is very convenient near the super market and a short walk from the main road. It is not walking distance to the beach, but few villas in Bali really are.
Looking for negatives, there was some noise from nearby construction work while we were there, and the massage we had in the villa was fairly average.
All in all I can highly recommend Villa annecy. For a single couple, the villa is a bit on the expensive side, but for a family or group that can utilise all four bedrooms it would be excellent value.

Although this reviewer feels that the beach is not withinin walking distance, as you will see from other other reviews most guests at our villa do in fact walk to the beach, it really is only 5 - 10 minutes max (for the slower walkers) through a little shortcut, but it is always possible to get a cab, if you really don't enjoy walkng!
The construction work was taking place during 2011/2012.
We will give feedback to the spa with which the massage was arranged.
If you want to go as a single couple the best time to book is off peak which is the only time the villa can be booked as a one room option and it is actually very reasonable.
The reviewer proposed to his now wife whilst on holiday at Villa Annecy and kindly invited the owner to his wedding - Aaah. -

This is our 2nd stay at Villa annecy. We enjoyed the open space, perfect pool with a spring board and the excellent service there!
The location is superb as its so near to supermarket and shopping and yet it's very quiet in the villa.
The villa has very open plan so it's always sunny and airy. We had 13 people staying together and it's not crowded. We all had our space.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had the best holiday and one week there is never enough!
The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and has a wide network to recommend activities and help with enquiries.
We couldn't have chosen a better villa! -

Spent 2 weeks at Villa annecy - what an amazing holiday! our first time in Bali and first time to stay in a villa - everything was perfect. Our 7 year old son especially loved hanging out in the pool. We will definitely be back.

I stayed in Villa annecy 3 times between 2011 to 2013. It's my favorite holiday place for holiday. The pool is large and the diving board is very good. There are not many mosquitos and I think it's great! Water Bom park is only 20 minutes away and we love to walk down the beach to go body surfing and swimming and stuff.
