Two story 6 bedroom villa recently constructed ( Febr 2012 ) ideal to host large family and 6 couples with capacity to host max 13 adults and baby cots can be provided. Located in dead end street ( gang ) in Jalan only 600 meters from Batu Belig beach within the well well know Balinese restaurants Naughty Nuri and Sobat and the beach clubs double W & Potato head . All rooms have TV, fridge and terrace with ensuite bathrooms are identical and can be also rented separated.When villa is rented as 4/5/6 bedroom villa other available rooms will be locked to keep you total privacy

Stayed here with 2 young kids, 1st time in a long time back in asia (from Europe). Balanced the holiday with extended stop-overs in Singapore, and also Novotel-Benoa in Bali, so enabled review from different angles.
First up - this villa is superb, the service is impeccable (very, very helpful with the young kids). The room was always remarkably clean. (more so than Conrad & Novotel hotels in S'pore). The villa is in short walking distance of great local restaurants (Sobat was great cuisine - far better than the exclusive Gado Gado on Seminyak beach-front, as well as being great value for money and very attentive staff).
I heard comments from other external contacts, that the villa had 'no garden or sitting room'. In fact, it is quite the contrary: you are surrounded by thoughtfully laid out mature garden and aromatic flowers, and the open bar-resto-terrace is a great place for all times, from early breakfast to a late-night beer. The pool : very clean, warm. In short, you want to stay there all day. The villa itself is within the owners domain, and sits beside the main house's temples and places of worship.
Within short (5mn) taxi rides of central Seminyak. The villa's staff were also constantly at hand for transport (from chauferring to nearby restos to offering short rides on the back of a motor-bike..)
In summary, we wished we'ld stayed longer (and reduced the following nights at Novotel-Benoa). Most friendly and generous staff. (thank you Iyu and Mary..). The villa's location really helps you to soak in Bali. (the southern Benoa region, and its mega but opulant hotels much less so) -

We were an extended family of 9: 2 couples, 3 adult 'children' an two older teenagers. We loved this place! Our very own private pool, a stocked fridge, 6 well appointed bedrooms, and a welcoming host family who could not do enough for our comfort and enjoyment. The place is about 3 km from the shops in Seminyak, which we really liked. The beach, also a walk away, is nothing to write home about, but neither are any beaches in the area. Pondok Chandra was an outstanding affordable but luxurious place to stay. I would highly recommend it!

It is a beautifull, spacious new house, very quiet located near to the beach.
Very kind staff serving a tasty breakfast and keeping the rooms 100% clean. Everyday clean sheets and towels.

Nestled in amongst the locals, this accommodation is both out of the way and away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to beaches (walking distance, albeit along a treacherous road with open drains and rare patches of footpath). I would recommend this accommodation for groups of adults or families travelling together with older children.
The rooms are very clean, modern and well appointed. They are all the same, so no rushing to get 'the pool side room'. There is a fantastic, 'by the pool' open living space and plenty of fridge space to store your own 'bintang'! The local family are always there with you and very eager to provide you with any assistance you may require during your stay.
