New ZealandGreat family holiday
Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Superb service from the time we arrived to when we left. The villa was spacious, clean and the pool was the cherry on top. Komang was an absolute darling and nothing was to much for her. The location of the villa was perfect - down a quiet alley but close to restaurants and the beach. We all had wonderful time, thanks:)

Beautiful villa & private gardens. Wayan the housekeeper, I love you, you made my holiday with 2 teens a restful time. Only lost the 5 star because of mosquitos. Take insect repellant. Definitely stay here again. Ps> I fixed the internet problem.

We enjoyed a very peaceful and enjoyable week in this spaciuos villa (there were 5 of us). Dewi from Bali arrangments was excellent as was Wayan who looked after the villa and us while we were there. The villa is down a quite gang (alleyway) off Batu Belig, that with the fact that the villa had a large garden meant that it was an extra special place to come back to from the hestle and bustle of Bali. We used a cra to get around is it is a littkle way form the action but taxis are so cheap in Bali that this would not be a problem for those without a vehicle. We would highly recommend the villa

Family of 4 stayed in this villa recently for 14 nights. It is simply fantastic. Everything you need for a comfortable holiday is there and we loved the location. Wayan our housekeeper was great and made our stay all the more comfortable. You can walk to the beach and there are a couple of really good eateries within walking distance if you dont want to venture too far. All other things to do are short distances in very cheap Cabs. Great value and a touch of the old Bali.

Absolutely gorgeous villa! Exceeded my exceptions big time!
Situated in a quiet residential street that is within close walking to the beach and a good selection of restaurants. Its a quick cheap taxi ride to Oberoi St (lots of good restaurants) and Seminyak Rd for amazing shopping though when you are hanging out at the villa you don't want to leave.
Everything is perfect, the house has a rustic feel and is very homely. Bedrooms spacious with huge ensuites. Open plan living, with the pool right off the living areas and beautiful view to an immaculately maintained garden. You really feel like you are in your own private paradise.
The girl who lives next to the house Wayan is lovely and is there for you whenever you need her. If you are out in the day she will be into the house, tidy everything up and have the lights all on for a comforting feeling when you arrive back.
We also hired out the Villa driver for the week, Putu, and we was awesome. The boys wanted to be up surfing really early every morning and drive around finding the best waves which was no problem. We girls wanted to go sight seeing in the afternoon which again was really cool. Putu was great to chat with and we learnt a lot about Bali and the culture. He also picked us up from the airport and drove us to Kuta to organise surf boards before even getting to the villa!
In terms of organising the villa Dewi was always prompt with emailing back answering any questions you had and nothing was a problem. Very friendly as well and you can tell it was important for her that everything was perfect.
The only thing I can have say was a negative was that the Wifi was unpredictable but we did mention this to Dewi so hopefully it will be sorted.
I would go back again to Villa Di Uma in a second and will be in contact with Dewi and Bali arrangments first thing! Thanks so much :) amazing! -

Melbourne, AustraliaWe <3 Villa Di Uma!

This is just the perfect place for a family with kids.. or even for a group of friends! The pool and gardens are just beautiful, and the gorgeous housekeeper Wayan was just amazing (we miss you!!). From enquiry right through to check out, the whole experience was great. Everything was made so easy. Batu Belig is only a short (and cheap!) 5 min cab ride from Seminyak.. but still has some great restaurants around the corner (Naughty Nuri's ..went there 6 times..and Sobat is also fantastic for authentic food..there's also Cozy Cafe right on the beach..and Potato Head Beach Club - the place to be - is a short 15 min walk up the beach). Although we loved Seminyak, Batu Belig felt more like the real Bali. Bening Massage became our home away from home too with great treatments! Villa Di Uma - we will be back! Miss you already!

Villa Di Uma was a beautiful villa to stay in. Typical balinese style, very roomy, each bedroom with its own large ensuite. Our maid Wyan was lovely, nothing was ever too much trouble. She prepared us a fresh fruit platter every morning and was just such a lovely lady. The villa was clean and location was easy to get taxi's from. 4-5 restaurants on the same street, 3-4 massage palors also on the same street. About 5-7min taxi ride to main street in Seminyaki (Ultimos is highly recommended).
Will definately be returning!! -

Melbourne, AustraliaLovely time had by all...

My friends and I all enjoyed our stay at Villa Di Uma very much. The house was nice and big with plenty of space for the 5 of us. We would quite happily waste a whole day away at the Villa swimming in the pool and lounging about on the deck chairs or day bed.
The house is only a few minutes walk from the beach and there are several restaurants and shops very close by. The location was nice and quiet though and away from the hustle and bustle of many of the surrounding areas. If we wanted to go to one of the busier areas with more restaurants/shops it was only a short and cheap taxi ride away or a few minutes walk.
I would happily stay at the villa again.

Left on 07/06/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We were 5 guys staying there for 5 days. The staff was very friendly and arranged the transfer from the airport and back. Also they helped a lot with simple questions where to go, to eat, and to have a party. The villa looks brilliant and very cozy where was a pleasure to spend time during hot afternoons. To go to the city took 15mins, but it is not a big problem because a lot of taxi and scooters are available everywhere with the reasonable prices.

SloveniaReally nice!
Left on 05/21/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The villa looks great, there's a nice big open living space - where you probably spend most of the time - overlooking a really big garden with a nice pool and gazebo. The bedrooms are airconditioned, the beds are big. The bathrooms (one for every room + a smaller one downstairs) also very spacious. The kitchen is basic but has everything you need. There's even a TV with a big selection of Dvds. Everything looks quite tastefully equipped with some traditional balinese furniture etc.
The location nice and quiet, great if you don't mind a 5 minute walk to the beach and taking a cab to Kuta or Legian. There are quite a few restaurants around the villa, some very tasty and reasonably priced.
Overall, the villa is great, so is the service (the girl that cleans the villa, changes towels and helps you with everything you need, even prepares breakfast if you wish), so I can recommend Villa Di Uma to all types of guests.
