Overlooking the ocean with an unobstructed view is only one of the few villas in Bali that is beachfront and situated in a secluded area, yet minutes to restaurants, shops and activities of the Central Seminyak area. This large property faces the sunset with a spectacular view of the beach. Bungadesa villa is perfect for a family or a group of friends.

Bungadesa Villa is by the beach in 34 Ares of beautiful tropical garden, with stunning views of the ocean from every bedroom. The location is call Seminyak “North” it is the best location in Bali right now. It is a 5 minutes ride away from all the best restaurants and shopping area, a...nd some are a 5 minutes walk from the villa. (A walk on the beach, it is a 15m to famous KU DE TA, 10m to WW and 3 minutes to Karma beach restaurant).

The close proximity of the villas means Bungadesa Villas is ideal for large groups of people, or families, who want to be close to each other while still retaining an element of independence and privacy.

Bungadesa Villa is a private sanctuary comprised of two self-contained villas, one with 5 EN-SUITE BEDROOM, made with three spacious pavilions, Pavilion Toraja, Pavilion Timor, Pavilion Irian. And one with 3 EN-SUITE BEDROOM made with three separate pavilions, Pavilion Bali, Pavilion Lombok, and Pavilion Sumba

The two properties can be rented separately or together, thereby presenting guests with a 3, 6, or Total of 9 BEDROOM renting option. Each villa has a private entrance, garden, and private swimming pool. Rent separately the villas still give a complete privacy and tranquility.

The Villas provides ocean-view en-suite bedrooms that will accommodate maximum 22 guests in luxurious comfort. A private bamboo walking- bridge connects to the secluded beach.

The PAVILION TORAJA 2 En-suite Bedroom (3 Rooms) has strong style influences from Sulawesi province. The first level is wholly open with dramatic high ceilings supported on pillars of a traditional Javanese Jogglo. A flat 42-inch TV is nestled to one side. The expansive 2 dining tables overlooks the lush tropical garden grounds and Indian Ocean, that can seat 22 people. A guest bathroom sits off for convenience. The romantic upstairs master bedroom has a rich dark wood aroma with spectacular Ocean view.

Enjoy beautiful "sunset view," relaxing in the king size Timor bed.

An open terrace, ensuite bathroom, and separate room make this family suite an additional sleeping area. The first floor master bedroom fitted with a king size canopy bed and its own private terrace, is divided from the living room by a beautiful water pond and stepping-stones. A walk- in wardrobe area and an en-suite open-air bathroom are added highlights. A beautiful limestone carving of bathing Balinese women overlooks the luxurious bathtub.

The PAVILION TIMOR 2 En-Suite Bedroom (3 Rooms) first level offers a large en-suite bedroom with its own private terrace overlooking the lush grounds. The terracotta floor adds richness to the room, complimented by the king-sized canopy bed. Shell-inlaid doors lead to the open-air bathroom, with a small garden. The second level consists of a Master en-suite family bedroom with full view of the Ocean, the other room of this suite is made of two single canopy beds that have been specially designed to convert into a single king-sized bed, for added versatility. An en-suite bathroom is designed for pampering.

PAVILION IRIAN 1 En-Suite Bedroom set apart from the other residences, offers a complete retreat to privacy. This round windowed building adorned with a high alang-alang roof houses and its own private en-suite open-air bathroom. The queen-sized bed is covered with brilliantly colored batik linens. A large day bed is ideal for a siesta, or for a child to rest.

PAVILION BALI 1 En-Suite Bedroom features an open-sided living and dining room, and a small open plan kitchen. The spacious air-conditioned bedroom is positioned on ground level, furnished with a romantic Queen size bed and harmonized with whimsically carved artifacts. Decorative double doors inlaid with mother of pearl, mark the entrance to a gorgeous garden bathroom, and walk-in rain shower. On one side there is a sofa bed, can be use as an extra single bed.

PAVILION LOMBOK 1 Bedroom a separate structure is modeled after a traditional Balinese rice barn. A high staircase to the second level offers a private open terrace where you can gaze at the lush tropical garden and the Indian Ocean. Adjoining is a bedroom furnished creatively with bamboo. Two single canopy beds push together to form a single king size bed.

Pavilion SUMBA 1 En-Suite family Bedroom (2 rooms)

Is the new addition to this complex. The first floor is made of 2 large rooms, that have a panoramic view of the tropical garden.   We arrived late and dark at the villa. Beautifully light, gave a superb first impression. There were various people waiting to show us around and give us details of the operations at the villa. Very helpful Ika (Villa Getaway representative) and Myriam (Villa Manager). The villa is splendid, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The whole booking process had also been flawless with Mahdavi of Villa Getaways being extremely helpful. Next day we met the fabulous Nana, the chef. Unfortunately we did not get to eat in too often as we were diving many days and going out to dinner regularly. Nevertheless, the times we did, the food was exquisite. We asked Nana to cook local dishes, both seafood and meat, She has a wonderful repertoire and was always delicious. We would settle on the menu the day before. Rest of the staff also very helpful, unobtrusive (mostly) and flexible. The driver assigned to us for the 2 weeks was Tio and also a gem. Security was good, helpful and unobtrusive. Viilla was cleaned and serviced everyday like a 5 star hotel.
  Facilities are very comfortable with very nice bedrooms, each with a TV (we did not use...could not tune in the European Futbol Championships!!), and bathroom. The pool is great and the various sofas, hammocks, etc... fantastic for relaxation. Kitchen seemed fine and fairly well equipped. A great Expresso machine!!
  The villa description is however, somewhat misleading. The ''private'' bridge to the beach is not private at all, as the villa has no direct access to the beach. You have to exit the property and walk by the local beach bar. It is a rickety bamboo bridge, somewhat unstable crossing a fairly filthy lagoon. Beach great for walking. Also, pictures on the web give the impression of a much bigger garden (they were taken before the property was split in 2). Nevertheless, the whole experience was fantastic.

  Thanks Perrel for your nice review and great appreciation of the all villa and the staff. But I am so sorry that you could not watch the European Football. Next time just ask the Manager she will be so happy to show you. We changed on the website “ private” bamboo bridge in “hanging” bamboo bridge. The bridge now has been repair and the lagoon is clean and beautiful again, you can watch the sunset with the beauty of the local fisherman. In this website the pictures are accurate, maybe tell your agent to update the pictures on her website. It is good that you have to exit the property to go to the beach, it makes it really private and secure.
  I am very happy that you had a fantastic experience and everyone enjoys your company too and can’t wait to meet you again in our beautiful Island.

  Wonderful Bali Retreat Villa

  Went on a trip to Bali with friends. First visit for all of us. Found this wonderful villa on the Vrbo website and reserved as it was a beach location. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. Tranquil and beautifully manicured grounds. Sleeping quarters clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff warm, inviting, and friendly. Set away from main roads and all you have to do to be on the beach is exit complex and walk across bridge. Time their was very comfortable and rejuvenating. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

  Thank you so much for making my trip to Bali amazing!!! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and staying at your villas made it so.
  My first week at Bungadesa Villa was perfect! Every morning going for a run and swim on the beautiful beach right there, and taking my coffee and breakfast in the little swing by the infinity pool was just heaven. Most evenings I loved to experience Seminyak and Kuta, shopping and nightlife, and would take a short cab ride back home to the peace and quiet of the beautiful villa on the beach. Thank you for organizing horseback riding, and the dive trip to Lembongan was the most incredible diving - better than Belize or the Bahamas! And the drivers you arranged to take me to Ubud and Uluwatu were awesome. Your staff treated me like family and the food was delicious! But the beauty of the architecture and design of your villas, the old world charm mixed with modern amenities, I will never forget! Your pictures really don't do it all justice!
  Advising me to stay in Bungadesa Villa in Seminyak first, and then to experience the peace and wonder of the black sand beaches of your Villa Kembangdesa, on the beach near Tabanon, was perfect. I ran on the glittering beaches every day and loved swimming in the infinity pool. The views from the cliff amazed me, being surrounded by rice fields, mountains, and the ocean - I can't ever imagine anything more beautiful and stunning! Around every corner, and on every path, was something beautiful to stop and wonder at! Again the architecture and design, beauty and function of these magnificent villas were stunning. And again, your staff was amazing! And it was so easy to explore more of the island with the wonderful drivers your staff arranged! Thank you for making this once in a life trip perfect.

  I was there in July. When I awoke my first morning at Bungadesa Villa, I felt that I was in the presence of elegance and serenity I had always craved in my life. Everything is perfect and refined into details here. It is located in the most desirable area of the city far from the noise just with Mother Nature and the ocean. Only two steps away from the beach and 10mn away by car from the vivid Seminyak. The staffs are so cheerful that they make you feel part of the family. The cook Nana is accomplished and makes you eat more that you would wish with a big smile. All her food is very fresh and her dishes are delicious and tasty. No fat, only fruits, plenty of fruits, veggies, fish or meat according to your request. In addition, the staffs are all but smile like the owner, Corinne. They are just the mirror of happiness and serenity.

  We have been at least 10 times in Bali in the last 10 years, but always stayed in a hotel. This time, with 5 teenagers around, we tried something new. And we loved it. The Villas are very nice, well and thoughtfully decorated, comfortabel, great beds, nice linens,nice towels, everything very tasteful and luxurious.
  The view is great , the waves in the back, the sound.The garden is so nicely done, we just loved being there. The staff was just great, very ,very good cooks. They made a fantastic Rijstafel for us. Our friends used to live in Indonesia and we had all kinds of indonesian food, made upon request, but also my son wanted a special Mexican dish and it was bought and cooked for us.
  The houses were clean, well kept and maintenanced. If there was any kind of problem, it was immediately taken care of. The proximity to Seminyak and all its great restaurants and shops is perfect. Just a short drive and you are in the middle of everything. The only drawback is the walk to the beach( not because it is far, it is more the garbage you have to pass), and the beach could be cleaner as well.The waves are spectacular and we took very long , nice walks in both directions.

  Heidi thanks for your nice review, I am happy that you had a great time at the villa and enjoyed the staff. . I am so sorry if there was garbage on the beach. The beach has been cleaned since then. But you have to understand this is a wild large surf beach and sometimes, as you said, waves are spectacular and bring rubbish over… Wildness is beautiful because it is natural but the backside of it is that nobody is there to clean. As a secluded beach there are no lined up built hotels there, where garbage is picked up everyday.

  We had a reunion holiday with friends. There were 11 adults and 8 young children. Bungadesa was just what we were looking for. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. It was nice to have more than one spot to hang out without having to leave the villa. And with the beautiful breezes and sea views we felt no need to go anywhere else. The food was surprisingly good and the staff very friendly. The beach just a two minute walk away and was an easy trip with kids. It's close enough to Seminyak to get out but we didn't do much of that so I can't say if it's a good location from that perspective. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a group getaway.

  The location is the best..I hear the Ocean when I slept in my Villa.. I walk a 100 ft bamboo bridge over a lagoon and am on the beach. The hotel is on the beach totally private yet has lush gardens like one might expect in the mountains..Its a five minute walk (on the beach) to the best restaurants, spas and clubs. The Owner did not decide to build on every inch of the land..so as a guest it gave a wonderful open feeling.
  The staff I fell in love with. They would buy my food..(better then five star Chefs) & only charge me for the cost and make whatever I requested..I loved their Balinese cooking. The rooms were beautiful and Balinese with all the modern convenience..I'm going back hopefully soon.
