What a wonderful place to spend your holiday. The villa is a tropical paradise in the midst of chaos. Shopping was only a few minutes walk away. The villa was always kept spotless as with out bedrooms and bathrooms. The staff are fantastic, always helpful when we were in need. The pool is the centre of the oasis, surrounded by tropical plants, it was where we spent a lot of our time. I had Room 3 which is the smallest and closest to the road. I could hear road noise from scooters and cars, but after a couple of nights I got used to it and forgot that it was there. We couldn't have picked a better place for our holiday, that I'm sure of.

We were picked up at the airport and taken to the villa. On entering you are shown around by the manager who will look after your every need. The villa is beautifully designed with water features and swimming pool as shown in the pictures We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and unobtrusive making our stay a wonderful experience. We plan to return to Bali would consider Villa Plawa asari as an option.

We went with our 2 daughters 15 and 20 and had possibly our best family holiday ever with all of us just lounging around and in the pool and talking about all sorts of things.
It is great to be able to go out in the morning and come home for some relaxation in a beautiful complex just for us.
The staff were great and made sure it was always immaculate and our needs were catered for.
Having said that, the staff were there but were discrete.
The walk to the main road at Seminyak is about 300 meters and the beach is about a 15 minute walk away.
It is about a $2 or $3 Taksi ride to most places like Kuta Beach or Eat Street in Seminyak or even Potato Head.
We loved our holiday. -

We stayed in Plawa asri over xmas.Fell in love with gardens and pool.Great place to come back to after a busy day and rest on the lovely outdoor lounge. All the beedrooms are lovely but being three couples hard to please everyone with rooms one and two much grander than room three also being from country NSW we found the constant motor bike noise in room three hard to get used to !! We fell in love with the staff at the villa and also our two drivers !! Loved the outdoor showers we shared with the gecko's, large snails and frogs !! Would have no hesitation in returning !!

Left on 12/11/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We have recently had the great pleasure to spend a wonderful week at Plawa asri. Our expectations were exceeded on all accounts - the setting (a beautiful Balinese garden) the accommodation (private and tastefully decorated bedrooms), the wonderful staff (thoughtful, professional and anticipating all our needs)!
Our only regret is that we live so far away that we are unable to be regular visitors. We highly recommend Plawa asri and thank Komang, Siska and all the staff for creating such a happy memory for our family. -

Paris, FranceThe perfect villa... not to be missed!
Left on 11/15/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This was my 7th trip to Bali and the 7th villa that I have rented. All I can say is that Plawa asri has been the best by far. To begin with the villa is exquisite with beautifully appointed rooms. As we were three different couples we really appreciated the privacy that the bedrooms allowed, each one with its own terrace for when we wanted some downtime. Breakfast was sumptuous and always delicious. Siska the cook catered to all our whims, whipping up different exotic fruit drinks and preparing beautiful lunches for us whenever we wanted. All of the staff were discreet, warm and always ready to help us with anything we needed.
One of the most remarkable things about Plawa asri is the luxurious garden. Instead of being a few palms trees behind a swimming pool this amazing garden is an integral part of the villa. You are constantly surrounded by amazing views of this tropical paradise which links every room. At night the garden becomes a wonderland with its amazing lighting scheme. While Seminyak is busy and crowded this villa is an oasis of calm. It felt like we were in the middle of the country side. This place is Bali. Traditional and yet modern. One step into the villa and you know that you are on this special island like no other place in the world.
Elegant, luxurious, refined, warm. Perfection. We loved it.
Highly recommended Plawa asri is a gem.

I recently stayed at Villa Plawa asri and and had the best time, the staff are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful, The Villa itself is well maintained and having the three seperate huts mean you have some distance and privacy. The gardens are an oasis when you walk through the front door after shopping from the (too numerous to mention shops a stone throw away). This villa would be great for couples travelling in a group or large extended families.

Unlike many places in Bali that seem to deteriorate with age, use and neglect this Villa has just got better with each visit over the last three years. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner this trip and I think this is because his passion for the Villa and his staff and the staffs overall happiness that makes this Villa such a joy to stay at. That together with the excellent location, the upgrading to the bathrooms and the spotless condition of the Villa will hopefully see us back there again next year.
Many thanks to our favourite manager Komang, Sisca, Made, Kadek, Wayan and Gede for looking after us so well. -

It was such a pleasure to stay at Villa Plawa asri for our third visit. As usual we were welcomed warmly by Komang and all the staff. The villa looked sparkling and the new bathtub and shower were stylish additions to the property. The villa is located very centrally, close to Jln. Raya Seminyak and all shops, restaurants and amenities. The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for their guests. Truly it is like returning home to old friends. Many thanks Komang, Ciska, Kadek, Made, Wayan and Gede. Hopefully we can stay at the villa again.
Warmest regards,

To echo what other reviewers have written- pictures don't do justice to the large, lush environment that you step into upon arriving at Plawa asri. The attention to detail we saw in our environment was echoed in the service as well. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and most of all, patient with answering the dozens (and dozens and dozens) of questions we had as first timers to Bali. We'd return in a heartbeat!

Komang takes good care of you. Our chef was incredible. You'll want to take her home. It was clean, a close walk to everything and so very beautiful. there is always someone taking care of the property. You feel safe and completely doted on. I would g back in a heart beat. The outdoor showers were over the top. We were 3 girls, each with our bedroom. We wanted luxury and we found it.

Hong KongA little paradise on earth that is affordable
Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Just spent a wonderful week in Villa Plawa asri.
This little paradise is conveniently located in the middle of Seminyak which is the Saint Tropez of Bali. You are a few min walk from the main shops, super market and various great restaurants. So much choice to enjoy either Indonesian or international food. The beach is not far and great for a nice walk. At night you can hop on a taxi and be within a few min in the night life of Bali.
This villa is a real home and each time you come back to the villa, you really feel happy to be back in this peaceful-zen environment that the owners lovingly have created. The garden is a jewel and you find everyday a new spot where you can relax and enjoy it. The pool makes it a true oasis where you can refresh and sip your cocktail.
The staff is very discrete yet very much present. Siska, the cook, is a sunshine and will every morning prepare at your convenience a delicious breakfast. At request she can also prepare lunch/diner whenever you feel like it.
The staff will make your stay a wonderful experience giving you any tips or advise on how to best enjoy Bali. You can have day trips to either Ubud or other places in Bali that the manager - Komang - will happily organize for you.
This is an ideal place to spend a few days especially for Hongkies as only a few hours flight away that makes the trip worthwhile to get a break from the big city. This villa offers great facilities for either couples, families or friends who want to have the service of a very private and real home.

Our group of four stayed at Villa Plawa asri and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The villa itself is beautifully set up and appointed with three lovely rooms set around a lovely garden and pool complete with fish ponds, an outside dining area and a large thatched seating pavilion. I think it’s the small details that really made the place for us, with everything from iPod docks in the rooms and outside to the wonderfully attentive and discreet service from the staff who are more than happy to offer advice, order food to the villa and cook a great breakfast whenever suits you.
The rooms were spacious, bright and very comfortable with outdoor bathrooms so we literally had to force ourselves out of bed in the morning to avoid snoozing the morning away!
One of the nicest things about the villa is the fact that it is tucked away from the main strip, but close enough to wander out every day to have a look at the nearby shops or grab a few things from the Bintang Supermarket, which is only a five minute walk away. The staff will happily arrange for drivers to come and pick you up in the evening and take you out in the evening if you want to venture further out, but we were just happy walking around and eating at all the fantastic restaurants close by.
The villa is a place where you just want to be and it is so easy to spend many happy hours in the pool admiring the mature garden or sitting in under the pavilion and relaxing.
There is plenty of space for groups and families, although I’d be cautious with toddlers as there are stepping stones across the ponds that skirt the pavilion.
Perfect for a romantic break, groups of friends and those looking to have an amazing private villa experience in the middle of Seminyak. Why anyone would want to stay in a hotel resort when villas of this quality are available I don’ know!
A huge thanks to the Plawa asri team for making our stay so special and we will most definitely be back! -

I stayed here for a week with 2 of my girlfriends and we have to say that this place is amazing. It is everything that you see in the photos, and more. It was just beautiful, very private, and so serene. We could not have asked for more for our stay here. All of the staff are wonderful, and so very helpful. The villa is kept in an immaculate condition all the time, and you only have to put a glass on the table to turn around a minute later to find that it has been picked up, cleaned and returned to the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you could need, even down to having decent sized ice cubes tray in the freezer (one less thing I need to bring next time!). Cisca cooked up a perfect breakfast for us each morning - what a great way to start the day, fresh fruit and juice and breakfast prepared just for you! She will also give you tips on where to shop if you're after something in particular.
The bedrooms and bathrooms all varied in size, with the main bedroom having a dressing room behind it. They did vary with the degree of lighting in the rooms though, with the 3rd bedroom being quite dark at night, as there was only 2 ceiling lights and a couple of lamps. In contrast the main room could light up like a Christmas tree with all the lights in this room. That certainly didn't detract from everything else superb in this villa.
The villa is located just a 5 minute walk to Bintang Supermarket, which was really convenient. Loads of shops on the main street, and only a short taxi ride away from the main restaurant strip in Seminyak (Eat St, or Jl Laksmana). Handy tip though, take a torch for coming back to the villa at night if you are walking, as some of the lanes aren't lit up too well. It is only about a 15 minute walk to the beach too - we did a few early morning walks to the beach and along it and it's such a lovely way to start the day, then back to the villa for a well earned breakfast!
The pool is awesome and has a great shallow section for sitting in, and a lovely bale across from the pool was the perfect place to sit and read a book. The lounge has plenty of space for the number of people the villa accommodates (a problem we've had at other villas with not enough lounge space).
I would only say that I don't think this villa would be suitable for families with young children as there is a lot of ponds arounds the pavilions and these can't be fenced off. With fish in the ponds it would be an accident waiting to happen for a young child to fall in while looking at all the fish.
I (we) will definitely stay again at Plawa asri. It's an exceptional place to stay, top service and great value for money. What more could you ask for? -

We love Villa Plawa asri and did not even consider anywhere else on this trip back. The staff are incredibly helpful and accomodating. All comforts are there in the Villa so we hardly went out. The villa is close enough to Bintang supermarket to walk but far enough away from the noise of the busy street. The problem with telling everyone how good it is, is the increase in people going there! Komang, please ensure that the villa is available next time we come back to Bali! :o)

50608a magical immersion into Balinese culture
Left on 03/11/2012 for a stay in February 2012
I just returned home to Ohio (in the USa) after 10 wonderful days in Bali. The Villa Plawa asri was my home during my stay. If you want a 5-star, luxurious but affordable accommodation while in Bali, you must stay at this villa. What a magical immersion into Balinese culture. Everything that you read about the well-appointed rooms, the beautiful gardens and grounds, the friendly and capable staff is absolutely true. But it is so much more.
This is not just a vacation rental. This is someone’s home that has been decorated with great care and love by its owners. The décor reflects the deep respect they have for the island, its people, and its culture. The owners visit frequently throughout the year to make sure the property is properly maintained and that updates are performed as needed. And with each visit a critical eye positions another meticulously chosen object - an orchid, a birdcage candle holder, the Buddha of Compassion statue - thus making this villa a warm, welcoming, comfortable place of rest.
Upon my arrival at the Villa Plawa asri, a local holy man and his assistants were conducting a ceremony to bless the property and to bring good luck for all who enter. There was much bell ringing and chanting and we all joined in the rituals. On the departure day, a large tent had been set up at the villa entrance where the staff and people from the neighborhood would gather that evening for a ceremony of the full moon. Baskets of fruits, flowers, and incense were being gathered in preparation. The owners encourage these customs and participate in all functions when they are in house. I wished that I had been able to stay just one more day in Bali so that I could have experienced it.
It is a long way from home, but there is no place else like it on earth. If you want a real adventure go to Bali and stay at the Villa Plawa asri. -

We stayed with our two adult children and Villa Plawa asri is perfect for this with individual bedroom pavilions each. Komang (manager) and Siska (cook) were discrete and always helpful. Our choice of breakfasts was willingly and professionally catered for and on the even of our arrival Siska cooked us a great Indonesian meal, even catering for a strict vegetarian in our group.
In spite of the wet season, inside the walls of the villa we found a haven even during downpours. And its location was perfect; easy reach of local yoga and very close to Jalan Seminyak (shopping!!)
This is a great place to stay for families, groups of couples and I would recommend to anyone. -

Just had a girls holiday with my sister, our two daughters ,and our two friends.
The villa met our expectations in every way. It has three very large beautifully appointed bedrooms , all in separate buildings to allow maximum privacy , with accompanying outdoor bathrooms.
The living area ,pool and gardens are lovely and very well maintained. The villa has a very Balinese feel, unlike alot of other accommodation now in Bali.
We had massage and beauty treatments in the villa organised by the staff.
The villa is a couple of minutes walk from the main road in Seminyak and yet it felt very peaceful in the villa, a real oasis.
We often asked for cabs to go to various restaurants and they always arrived within a minute or two.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly and efficient.
Special thanks to Komang the manager who was so helpful and ensured a very pleasant stay. -

Left on 09/05/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This was our second trip to Bali, but the first with children. We were two couples with three toddlers ( 1, 2 and 4y) and a 7 year old. We all have been blown away by Villa Plawa asri s 'traditional yet sophisticated style and 5-star comfort. Truth, is that the photos available on the website are a real understatement and don't do justice to the villa's beauty and ambience. The rooms, distant from one another, are fairly large and decorated with exquisite taste. The living room and the pool are an irresistible invitation to relax. The service was simply perfect. Komang (the villa's manager) and his team were very nice and attentive to our every needs while being very discrete. Sisca's cuisine was excellent. We had a 15 people dinner party with some of our French friends, and all were enchanted by her talents.
One minor inconvenience is that the villa is located at about 1.5km from the beach, walking distance, but not exactly close (for toddlers at least. A quick and easy taxi ride fixes it. On the other hand it is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 5 minutes away from convenience stores restaurants and trendy shops.
All in, we had a wonderful stay at the villa and brought back unique memories. We highly recommend it for vacation with friends and or family.

Our group was 3 couples, and this was our second stay at this fantastic property. Just as we'd left it last year...almost - only a couple of minor changes.
Quiet location, on a large block for a 3 bedroom villa.
We all enjoy the seperate bedrooms, so everyone can have some privacy when they want.
Only argument there will be is who gets the smallest bedroom, which is still a great room (which can be a little noisy - street traffic & the singing security guard, but he has a wonderful voice).
We found ourselves being a little picky about the villa this trip, I think because the bar had been set so high last year. But there is no way we'd stay anywhere else on our next trip...we're just so happy about Villa Plawa asri.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and very discrete...you're barely aware of them.
Hope to be back soon. -

This was our 2nd trip to Bali and again we had a fantastic time.
We travelled with 2 couples, one couple had been to Bali before and the other had never been outside australia.
Vila Plawa asri was the perfect base for our group. We all had separate sleeping accomodation and shared the common facilities. Nothing common about then though...plush, luxurious, 5 star all seem more appropriate!
We were only a 5 min walk from the "Paris" end of Seminyak and the Bintang Supermarket. This mean't you could shop till you dropped and carry the essential refreshments "bintang" of course, back to the villa at the end of the day!
All the famous night spots were only a short taxi ride away and you could walk to the Seminyak beach in about 20 minutes.
Siska and the team made the stay enjoyable in a delightful Balinese way and didn't bat an eye lid at our spontaneous Les Girls reveue - they couldn't through the tears streaming down their faces as they laughed at their crazy australian guests.
We had the best holiday and the accomodation and staff made it for us.
Would we be back...absolutely, next year but for 4-6 weeks not just 12 days.
Come - you won't be dissapointed! -

We were lucky to visit this gorgeous villa again in March this year for a 50th birthday celebration for one of our friends. Komang (Manager) was once again so nice to deal with prior to our stay and arranged our VIP through immigration and had our dinner ready and drinks on ice for our arrival. As a special gesture he had arranged for candles, flowers and a cake for our friends birthday. We felt like we had arrived home and ran around inspecting the lovely changes/additions that had been made to "our" villa whilst we were away. I highly recommend this Villa for its location in Seminyak for shopping and restaurants, its high security and its fabulous staff. Although it was hard to leave we know that we will be back again. I would highly recommend staying at the Villa.
I have only compliments and very happy memories of our stay. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Bali. The Staff were extremely communicative, friendly, and welcoming. They catered to our every need, & always did so with a smile, as if nothing was too much to ask. They made our stay so relaxing and comfortable.
The Villa itself is a total paradise. I don't think I could do it justice by writing only a few lines about it! The gardens are magnificent and a total retreat. You could easily stay in the villa all day and just indulge in the beauty of it.
The bedroom and lounge/dinning pavillions were wonderfully comfortable and combined rustic charm with modern facillities. The layout of the villa, and the pavillion style of living meant that everyone had as much space and privacy that they wanted. We loved the fact that as a family you could come home at the end of the day and dunk in the pool or lay in the lounge pavillion together, something that would not be possible if you stayed in a hotel. We pretty much lived between the lounge pavillion and the pool!
The villa is in an excellent location aswell. It is between Double six rd, Oberoi st, and Sunset rd. We hired scooters, but it was only a 5 min walk to the main road and the Bintang supermarket. I would definitley recommend staying in this area.
We found out about the Villa thru the Trip advisor website. Only 2 people of our party of 6 had been to Bali before, so we were not entirely sure about good locations to stay in Bali, and about what to expect when choosing a villa over a hotel. We read the reviews like the one I am writing now, to make our decision on where to stay, and so I hope you believe & trust me when I say that the villa is amazing and much more than I could have ever wished for.
We are definitely booking to stay at the Villa again. I can't wait to get back there, actually I didn't want to leave in the first place!!

Villa Plawa asri is everything you could want for your stay in Bali. Everything was perfect. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The 3 king bed rooms are very clean, beautifully appointed and the beds...So comfy!!! The garden is a tropical paradise and alive with birds and flowers. The central living room (with enough seating for a small army) is a wonderful place to relax with a drink and a dvd at the end of the day. And the swimming pool, just a step away from any of the rooms, is the ultimate in relaxation after a hard days shopping or sight seeing. We loved Villa Plawa asri so much we didnt really even want to venture outside. Our teenage girls dubbed it our Secret Garden...you step out of the hustle and bustle of Seminyak (just a short stroll away) into your own private piece of heaven. Thanks Komang, Sisca, Kordek, Sunoto, Gede & Wayom for making out stay so memorable.

Tried a few villas from Flipkey and this was by far the best. It was the priciest but still very reasonable for the incredible level of service you received. Honest profile on Flipkey about all details. 24 hour service present. Really suited to family holidays lazing around the pool as noted by previous reviewers, but would be just as suitable for a group of friends to have a modest party as the living areas are designed for pleasure. My mother is incredibly difficult to please and she loved it.

We went to villa plawa asri as a family for xmas, we enjoyed the whole aspect of the villa as it was very balinese and that is what we anticipated. The staff and manager were beautiful people and security was perfect. We loved everything about Villa Plawa, and the three separate acomodations were spacious and secluded from each other. The grounds and pool were so enchanting and relaxing. For a family of six I would highly recommend. Komang the manager and Cisca who looks after you in the day are just beautiful people. Go there.

We were welcomed by the manager Komang and the staff late in the evening but instantly made to feel welcomed and on holiday. No request was too much including the feeding and entertaining of a busy toddler. What we really liked about the villa, other than the staff, was its Balinese architecture and the fish swimming around the sitting and eating areas via a series of interconnecting pools. Our son instantly renamed the villa The Bridge House and this is how it remains today. The bridges connecting the separate areas is a lovely way to move through the property and creates a sereneness and spatial feeling to the villa. That is itself a blessing as the villa is 5 minutes walk away from noisy, busy Seminyak - a completely different experience. Luckily you dont hear the noise of Seminyak inside the villa compound. We would love to stay there again in the future - fingers crossed!

My wife and I travel to Bali frequently and decided to take my elderley parents on this trip as a gift. We had to take a lot into consideration with their age and limited mobility. I decided on Villa Plawa asri as we have stayed next door at Villa Kubu many times and is walking distance to many things such as shops and restaurants. Well I have to say we were not disapointed. Unlike Kubu the villa is not part of a group of many so the staff are dedicated only to you and they were fabulous. Sisca and all the staff couldn't do enough for us and were great and caring even when my mother took ill for a day.
As for the accommodation, there are three generous size comfortable air-con bedrooms all with beautiful large bathrooms. I think the gardens and pool area would have to be the best of any villas we have stayed in, including Ubud. All this and only a short walk to the main street in Seminyak. Thank you to all the staff and management for a great stay in your villa and we will definatley be back. -

If you are looking for:
Beautiful well appointed villa.
Private, quiet location, close to semiyak shopping and restuarants.
Gorgeous gardens.
Excellently run with wonderful professional staff who are warm and friendly.
Large property with spacious individual private sleeping areas.
Authentic 'Bali' environment.
Very safe and secure property.
Then this Villa has what your looking for and more.
Our group consisted of a couple with 2 teenagers and 2 single adults and worked perfectly for our sleeping arrangements because the beds and bedrooms are so large. The teenagers enjoyed lazing in the lounge area, the pool, the garden, the daybed and in their rooms and thought the villa was wonderful.
A 5-10min walk from the villa via a safe alley, that is a paved even surface took you to the main street directly across from the Bintang market and countless shops and restuarants. The alley was not well lit however and a small torch was helpful.
Every request and question was expertly handled by the wonderful staff.
We all feel we will not want to stay anywhere else for the next trip to Bali. When we found the villa on the website we were impressed but when we arrived it was beyond our expectations.

We were looked after like one of the family. The setting is beautifully appointed, comfortable and private with access to all modern communication facilities. A 5 minute stroll to the local shopping and restaurant precinct. The access to a vehicle and excellent driver for our group of 6 helped immensely for activities further afield. Local alarm-dog bark early in the mornings had us up and about adding character to the neighbourhood. And everyone is sooo friendly and helpful.

We found Villa Plawa asri to be the perfect relaxing retreat with a refreshing pool at the heart of its tropical grounds. The tastefully decorated air conditioned bedroom suits had fantastic outdoor showers and were very private. The grounds were resplendent with a delightful array of tropical flowering plants. I spent a the better part of a day just photographing the flowers, trees, and water features! We found Villa Plawa asri to be an oasis upon our return from our many adventures at the mountains, beaches, and shopping areas. The location to the main shopping street is perfect, far enough to be quiet, but only a 2 minute walk.
The staff was sincerely friendly, informative and helpful. The food was outstanding.
I give this villa an 11 on a scale of one to 10 and would recommend it to anyone -

I booked Villa Plawa asri for my last visit to Bali. We were 2 couples traveling together and looking for a Villa to offer us plenty of space. When we arrived Komang the Manager was waiting for us at the airport. On arrival to the Villa we were introduced to the staff and offered drinks. The Villa itself was lovely and in a more traditional bali style than most villas in bali. You really feel the culture staying here. You walk through the gates and are in your own quiet world. There is a real natural beauty about this place and you really do just fall right into relaxation mode. There are 3 main bedrooms and all quite separated from each other, which makes for lots of privacy. They all have king size beds, air con, TV and own bathrooms. In the middle of the compound was an amazing round living pavilion for laying around reading or watching TV. Across a bridge and your in the dinning pavilion with kitchen. Both living room and dining rooms are surrounded by beautiful rambling fish ponds. And the living room and dinning room overlook the pool, which is a really good size. The staff here are amazing, very good cooks, will organize anything you want, do your shopping, washing, get you a taxi to the door, and make you feel very secure (you have a 24 hour security guard outside). Location wise the villa is in a great shopping area and about a 10 minute stroll to the beach. If your looking for a Villa in true bali style with lots of charm then Villa Plawa asri is the place.

I've been coming to Bali every year for the past 4-5 years and have stayed in different villas, hotels or guesthouses. I must say that Plawa asri is my favourite, with incredible service and reasonable rates, and I have gone back on numerous occasions since - the most recent time being March 2010.
For its convenient location in the heart of Seminyak, Plawa asri is a quiet haven that provides the best of both worlds. It's only a 2 minute walk to the main stretch in Seminyak where a large supermarket, many shops and restaurants are located. You can choose to walk down to the beach or laze by the private pool within Plawa asri.
I especially love the fact that it has so many beautiful plants and a koi pond weaving in and about the villa. Every room affords privacy and comfort, and comes with a beautiful en suite outdoor bathroom with all the charms of Balinese architecture.
In terms of facilities, I never found anything lacking. I really enjoyed the surround sound system installed throughout the common areas of the villa, enabling everyone to enjoy the music regardless of whether we were swimming or having a meal.
The staff are exemplary in their service, always greeting you with a smile and are not intrusive when they magically make mess and clutter around the villa disappear.
I have recommended Plawa asri to many friends who loved it too, and I will surely be headed back there again the next time I am in Bali! -

Great Balinese villa in quiet location in the heart of Seminyak. Style and service are what people imagine when they come to Bali, been there many times, would buy the place if the owner would sell it. What more can I say?

I have stayed at several places in Bali and I have concluded that this is my favourite villa at all time!
The night view is almost surreal, decorated with plants and balinese decors. A superb place to unwind and recharge, a break away from society and urban lifestyle. To me and my friends, this place is a perfect getaway haven.
I will always make it a point to stay at this villa for a couple of days before moving on to other parts of bali. In completion to an astounding villa experience, The service team headed by the manager, Komang who is ever so helpful and attentive, including the rest of his team.
When I think of Bali, I think of Villa Plawa asri. -

This is the 2nd timeI I have stayed in this truly wonderful villa, centrally located close to restaurants, shops and the beach. However the villa is so enchanting and comfortable and the staff so attentive, kind and discreet, that I could hardly bring myself to leave the villa.
Villa Plawa asri truly delivered the "Bali" of my dreams. At any time of the day it offers a different beauty. The garden is luscious and particularly at night, when all the garden lights are on, becomes magical.
The staff made me feel completely at home and would anticipate anything I wanted.
Worth every penny and I will definitely return.

I spent 10 magical days at Villa Plawa Asri with two of my girlfriends. We arrived at our Villa late at night to find the full contingent of staff there to greet us. It was very touching and considering it was 11.30pm it was not expected. The Villa at night, in particular, is a beautiful sight and we didnt know whether to cry or jump up and down hysterically! There are 3 good size bedrooms, one with a dressing room and each with 4 poster beds, outside bathrooms, air con, fans, dvd and satelite tv. The beds are extremely comfy with feather pillows and good grade sheets. The rooms are all connected by a series of stone pathways which connect with the enormous lounge area and are all set around the beautiful pool and gorgeous lotus and fish ponds. The gardens are rich in colour and very lush. There are ipod docking stations and safes in all the rooms. There is a small bale in the garden overlooking the pool for afternoon sleeps. The Villa is set on a massive 1,000 sqm block in a quiet lane only 4 minutes walk to JL Seminyak and the Bintang Supermarket. The staff could not have been anymore helpful, polite, generous and inobtrusive. The kitchen is fitted out with everything you could possibly want including a new Nespresso Coffee machine (you supply the pods though as they cannot be bought in Bali). The security was great and we always felt safe. There is internet connection and all local calls are free. It is situated 5 minutes taxi or 10-15 walk to some of Seminyak's finest dining and shopping is literally minutes away.I think the reason this Villa worked so well for us was that it was a stand alone Villa and not part of a huge complex, it was Balinese in style and decor and not trying to be super chic or modern, The Villa was very private and quiet and it seemed like we were up in the mountains when we were one street away from the restaurants and shopping. You could walk to the beach straight down Dyhana Pura and this took 15 minutes.
