We stayed at Villa Suar 2 for 6 nights in april 2013. Our group of 11 consisted of 4 grandparents, 4 adults and three children aged 1,3 and 5. From the moment we arrived around 9pm we were all made to feel like we were the only guests the wonderful staff had ever had to look after. Our requests for a dinner on arrival, drinks for the fridge, pool fence, and a child seat in one of the vehicles all were fulfilled after aranging with Wiliam the owner and Nyoman the manager, prior to leaving home. Nothing was overlooked, no request too much to ask. The villas amenities were exceptional, very comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable sitting areas and theatre room and the outdoor area and pool perfect for our group. Having chef Wyan cook for us every night was perfect for us with three small children. The lovely staff made our holiday even more special. The location of the villa is great, quiet laneway, an easy walk to the main restaurant street,shops, Seminyak Square, coffee shops, ATM and money changer.We would highly recommend Villa Suar 2 ( or Villa Suar 1 as its right next door) for groups, families.

Our stay at Villa Suar 2 was a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough about how great the Villa and the staff were to myself and my family. We had grand parents, parents with a 12 month old and parents with a 18 month old and 6 month old. The layout was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The kids had their own room which was a bonus and was great for the day time sleeps. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well as it was a very hot and humid time to stay. The temporary fence was put up for us and was great not having to worry about the kids all of the time. The staff were amazing and always happy to help. They definitely went above and beyond for us and they were wonderful with the kids. The villa was always clean and the food was great. It was nice knowing we didn't have to eat out all the time especially with the kids. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seminyak.

Villa Suar 2 provided us with the most amazing 7 days in Bali. We were grand parents, parents and children aged 2 and 4. The layout provided each of us with our own space. the kids play room was great. Even though the pool fence was temporary we had no issues with it.
Wina, Komang and Sajaya looked after all our needs. The kids loved Komang and Wina. Wyan cooked the most amazing food - both for us and the children. Nothing was too much trouble. The airconditioning was great given the oppressive heat and humidity.
We could walk down to Seminyak Square in 5 min even pushing the pram. -

We stayed in May and it was our first trip to Bali travelling with friends who are Bali regulars. We travelled with our kids - so between us we had five aged between 2 and 8 years of age. The villa was as lovely in reality as it was on its website and the staff were really helpful and friendly, really making us feel at home. Came away feeling pampered and like we should have stayed longer, would defitely return.

I feel happy when staying at Villa Suar 2, we stayed there 8 people from 27 august to 1 September, Villa were so nice and very comfortable, the staff were so friendly with excellent service, I wish to thank specially to Nyoman Villa Manager always concerned about our situation every day and always make sure all is in good condition, as well as Vienna butler who best understand what we want. This is place is faultless. Hidden away, yet right in the heart of Seminyak, this luxury accommodation is not to be missed. First class villa with exceptional staff, awesome food and service. Anything can be catered for here in your own private retreat. Highly recommended as a family holiday with childminding included, or a romantic getaway. If you are in two minds... My advice is to just do it, you won't regret it.

Travelling with four children isnt an easy thing but staying at the Villa Suar 2 we found it effortless. The owner of Villa Suar 2 was very helpful and informative about his property which was a great help at the time of booking as their was going to be two families staying. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and all our needs were met. The location, well what can I say ... I have stayed five times in Bali and in different areas each time and have always had to rely on taxi/bemo etc and was amazed how convienent it was to all the restarants, shops, atm, convienent stores, etc in Seminyak. We are already planning to go back and stay again and just got back yesterday. I would totally recommend this villa to all my friends, family and anyone wanting a five star villa, five star service, five star location. Regards G

There are several reviews around Ta for this villa, but there doesn't seem to be a specific Villa Suar 2 page, so I'll get it started!
After many long hours searching for 4 bedroom villas in Seminyak, I found the Villa Suar website and my heart started beating a little faster, the feeling you get when you've found the "right one". William, the owner, was very prompt in answering my emails, and we had the villa booked and the deposit down quickly. Once the final payment was made, I began to deal with the villa management company, who were also very professional and easy to deal with.
We were a party of 7 adults (30 - 45 years old) and we were all blown away at how beautiful, well thought out and tasteful the villa was. I know it's a Ta cliche, but the internet photos really don't do it justice! A big factor for us was booking a villa with multiple chill out spaces, and Villa Suar was perfect. There's a large, comfortable TV room, the living room, the bar area and the pool area. The bedrooms are very well set up with large Lcd's, beautiful double bathrooms and very comfortable bedding.
The staff, led by Sanjaya and Wina were professional, friendly and discreet. I don't think we were difficult guests for them, but I can imagine if we were, they would still smile and go out of their way! It was the first time any of us had stayed in a villa, and we were a little worried about having full time staff catering to us, but we all found the experience to be lovely and not over the top.
Other reviewers have commented about the food, and it really was a highlight for us. We had the Babi Guling on our first night... wow! We also booked a poolside BBQ which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good too with ample choices. The day to day menu is extensive and great if you want to have a lazy day by the pool.
Villa Suar is tucked behind Jalan Oberoi, walking distance to Seminyak Square, the shops and the beach. Perfect for our group who love to shop and eat!
Villa Suar 2 was the right choice for us, and I'm so glad I stumbled onto their website. I honestly can not find fault in anything and we had a fantastic week and hope to return. -

The staff at Villa Suar 2 are just amasing; Professional, friendly and always helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and always well maintained. The surroundings and living areas are also exceptional, truly a credit to the owner and the staff who maintain these areas. Our experience was nothing but remarkable and we highly recommend this Villa for a group holiday.

Our holiday simply couldn't have been any better. We are two families with 4 small children (8 months, 2, 3 and 4) and who recently stayed at Villa Suar 2. The staff were brilliant and the house was completely luxurious. The kids had heaps of fun playing in the pool (pool fence was up which was great for us) and hanging out with the wonderful staff at the villa. They organised babysitters for us, who were excellent, and all of our outings which made things so much easier.
We were fortunate enough to have a special dinner at the villa of suckling pig with music and dancing which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Sanjaya and Wina were excellent - they were both very professional and eager to fulfil our every need. They were excellent with the kids and an absolute pleasure to be around. Sanjaya even made a special birthday cake for my husband which was a great surprise as he only knew it was his birthday by looking at his DOB on his passport. Amazing.
The location is excellent, close to cafes, supermarket, bakery and great restaurants. It is the perfect holiday for families...very relaxing.
We hope to return to Villa Suar 2 in the near future. -

We've been to Bali many times and stayed in many different villas but Villa Suar II is the best we've ever experienced so far for the following reasons:
1. Great location, no need to get in a car and get stuck in traffic as you're located within a few minutes walk from everything
2. Beautiful newly built villa with all the amenities one could ask for
3. The size of the villa, garden and pool was perfect for our group which was made up of 2 families consisting of 5 adults and 5 children
4. The staff were great
We had a great relaxing holiday and before departing Bali we booked to stay at the villa again for next year, thank you Villa Suar II

We stayed at Villa Suar for four nights at the end of October 2011 with our extended family including 6 adults and 3 children under the aged of 3.
We had a fabulous holiday!
The location was perfect,set back from the main street so it was nice and quiet but still only a two minute walk to the main Street in Seminyak for great shops and restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the beach.
The bedrooms were clean, spacious and had everything you could need. The bathrooms were huge and there was an outdoor tropical shower that was fun. All bedrooms were fully air-conditioned which was essential as we had some warm evenings.
We spent lots of time in the outdoor pool which we had fenced for our stay with the kids but noticed it could be removed if required. With three young kids we had no safety concerns at all during our stay.
The staff are fabulous - so kind and helpful but never in your way. We had some great meals cooked by the Chef and if you need them to organise anything for you they are there to help
We would happily recommend Villa Suar to anyone looking for luxurious villa in Seminyak.

We stayed at Villa Suar with our extended family including 7 adults and 3 young children and loved our stay.
The location is perfect, it is set back from the main street of Seminyak so quiet and peaceful but only a 2 min walk to Grocer & Grind, Bali Bakery and the great Seminyak shopping. And only 5 minutes to Bodyworks and Seminyak Beach. And if you need a taxi the staff are always happy to call one for you.
The bedrooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need, plus the two smaller bedrooms have an adjoining door and one of the main bedrooms has an adjoining study that can be set up with a trundle and cot making it a great villa for families with small children that don't want their kids in the same room but don't want them completely separated like so many villas in bali are.
The pool can be fenced if you require it (although we didn't and had no problems with the kids) and the pond at the entry can be closed off with the bi fold doors making it safe for toddlers.
The staff are fabulous - so kind and helpful but never in your way. And are great with the kids our kids loved Ms Wina!
We would happily recommend Villa Suar to anyone looking for luxurious villa in Seminyak.

We had a fantastic time in Villa suar, it has all you need and has plenty of beds..enough for three families.
The living room flows to the pool and day beds, which make it totally relaxing with all the lights,resturants and action of semiyak a short 2min walk with the beach a easy 5min walk.
Loved our stay and highly recomend to all groups and families. -

We could not fault the location or facilities of Villa Suar II. From the slippers and bathrobes to the umbrellas - there was nothing the owner did not think of. The staff were exceptional and made our stay even more pleasant. We had a brilliant holiday.

As an experienced traveller/travel agent, we found the service from the staff to be exceptional as well as one of the best accommodations myself and my husband has ever stayed in (this includes private game reserves in South africa). Miss Wina was amazing with our two children and couldn't have done more for us. We can't wait to return for a longer stay later on in the year.

A beautiful modern villa perfectly suited to our extended family travelling with children - there was enough room for some privacy and quiet time alone, as well as convening as a group.
The staff were always available and keen to assist with all our needs, queries and requests and certainly went beyond their required duties helping us managing our young infants!
Nicely located close to shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the hustle, bustle and noise that can be so tiring in Bali. The beach and Bali's famed La Luciola restaurant were also a short stroll away.
The pool and garden area were sublime and well suited to whiling away the days quietly with a book.
My only caveat for families with young children is the lack of a pool fence and a pond in the entrance meant we had to be extremely vigilant with our toddler and the doors often had to be kept closed which made the main room pretty hot during the day. I believe the adjacent villa has a pool fence, so would be worthy of enquiry.Response from William - 07/12/2011

A pool fence can be be included in the rental for a nominal fee, it's a shame these guests were unaware of this. From now on all guests with young children which have not requested a pool fence will be informed of this option when they check in.

The villa was amazing, we stayed with another family 8 people in total inc 4 children (4-14)
There was enough internal living space not to feel crowded and the sleeping area's were well proportioned.The living areas have bi folding doors that we had opened all day to let the breeze flow. To my surprise there was no mosquito problems thanks to the frog family living in the beautiful water garden entrance. The staff turned down our beds every afternoon and killed any bugs in our rooms, they also had plug in bug repellent to give us protection in the night.
The pool was crystal and included a large covered day bed for lazing around.
We could walk to Grocery Grind & Bali Bakery and other eateries from the villa. Taxis are parked at the front of Bali Bakery so getting around was easy.
The staff warm and welcoming, Weena was absolutely amazing, she was so lovely to my children. My kids really enjoyed their time at the villa because of her. I would like to thank the staff, Sun Jay, Omar & Weena for looking after us during our time at Villa Saur 2.
