TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Minimum Stay and Rental Rates
The minimum stay at Taman Villa is 3 nights. Rental rates are subject to change without notice, however once reservations are confirmed the quoted rates are protected.
Tentative Confirmation
On receipt of a reservation enquiry, we will contact you to confirm availability of the villa, rental rate (including any applicable charges) and deposit required (50% of the total rental).
Reservation Confirmation
Taman Villa is often booked months in advance. To confirm a reservation you must pay the deposit invoice which will be issued via PayPal within 72 hours. When this deposit is credited to our account, your reservation will be confirmed. The balance of rental charges must be paid 21 days before the scheduled arrival date, a second PayPal invoice will be issued. Reservations are treated on "first come, first served" basis.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 60+ days prior to the commencement of the rental will be refunded less a cancellation fee of 25% .Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the rental will not be refunded and final payments will not be refunded once received , unless specifically approved by the owner in exceptional circumstances only.
Rental rates are subject to change without notice, however once reservations are confirmed the quoted rates are protected.
Insurance
We strongly recommend you arrange comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to insure each traveller against illness (including evacuation costs), injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and other contingencies.
Responsibility
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property, or for any personal injuries during your stay at Villa Nita or in the course of your participation in activities in Bali. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
Guests are responsible and will be charged for any damage they cause to the facilities or equipment at Taman Villa, as a result of neglect or carelessness. They may also be responsible for the cost of any inventory/equipment that goes missing during their time at the villa.

The highs...
Booking process smooth and answered all questions quickly.
Check in fine and staff helpful.
Clean and tasteful design.
The lows...
Larger more powerful aircon needs to be installed in main for bedroom, room too big for such a small machine...we didnt sleep in our room until night three and still discomfort.
Need to spray for mozzies...so many even at six in the morning.
Need to block off and provide air con in at least on lounge area so u can escape heat and relax.

Jill , sorry to hear that you were a bit disappointed in your stay at Taman Villa . Earlier this month we finally got through a increase in the allocation of power to the villa from PNI , so we plan to install a larger a/c unit in the main bedroom . It has been very hot in Bali over the Xmas period due to the high humidity and start of the wet season and this has put a strain on all the appliances in our villas .The ceiling fans in all of the living areas is usually an effective way to cool the air , The bedrooms are all air conditioned with fans .Taman Villa is a traditional style open living area villa , which is one of the great appeals of the villa as expressed by our previous guests , we have professional pest control service for the villa , which regularly sprays for the mosquitoes and other pests .

Loved everything about Taman Villa. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. A real retreat, away from the hustle and the bustle of Seminyak shopping. Perfect location to accommodate everyone's needs. Had a real retro ambience and fantastic shaded pool which stayed cool even in the hottest weather! Highly recommend this one! Very enjoyable stay with excellent friendly staff.

This was our first villa experience and our two families absolutely loved it. Taman was exactly as pictured. Our own haven to return to each day. Close to shopping, restaurants,Bintang Supermarket and around a 10 min walk down Double 6 to the beach. Plenty of space, gorgeous tropical garden ,great pool accessed via a gate and serviced daily by lovely housekeeping staff. I adored my stay at Taman Villa!

What a lovely villa. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great if you are happy to walk places and if you want to be right in the middle of it all. It was perfect for us! The only thing we missed was a coffee machine so we just walked up the road every morning to Cafe Seminyak.

We loved Villa Taman - it was a slice of heaven. The decor and style of the villa was amazing. The girls looked after us and made sure our stay was something special. The location is perfect and the pool was divine. I would recommend Villa Taman to all our friends and would certainly stay there again. It is unusual in todays world to find such a perfect place to stay and the photos did not do the villa justice. Thank you anita for your excellent communication and we looking forward to staying at Villa Taman again.

We coordinated an entire family holiday staying at Taman Villa & Villa Nita next door. Taman Villa is beautifully decorated & had all the mod cons you need for a Bali holiday. The only issue was we were attacked by mozzies in the downstairs bedroom due to a gap in the sliding doors, we ended up sleeping with our 18 month old in with us under the mozzy net - which sorted out that problem! This villa would be great for friends even looking to share a large villa.

We really enjoyed our stay here. With two small children who couldn't swim it was fantastic having the pool behind a locked wall. we never had to worry about if the kids were near the pool.
the Villa is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of seminyak but down a quiet lane way far enough removed from the road so you couldn't hear the traffic.
The house staff were lovely people, who were polite, accommodating and willing to help.
We had a great holiday. -

I stayed at Taman Villa over the Christmas and New Year break. Absolutely loved it!! It is a little paradise located close to Bali coolest bars and cafes.
Loved coming home from a busy day and get being able to completely relax in the amazing garden or in a stunning pool.
The staff a so caring and helpful. One morning I sat down for hours and spoke with Marday and Balinese culture and what it like growing up in Bali.
Some how this place feels like authentic Bali but still has the comforts and luxuries of the modern world.
This Villa would be brilliantly suited for a couple's getaway, a families holiday or a bunch of friends!
When I go back to Bali, I am not even going to look around for other accomodation because it couldn't get any better than this!

I recently stayed at Taman Villa (18 to 25 November 2011), with the Villa living up to all expectations shown on the website. This was a "girls holiday" and Taman Villa comfortably accommodated 8 females with plenty of room to spare. I highly recommend this villa for families, couples or groups looking for a fabulous central location with easy access to Seminyak and Legian's best restaurants,shopping, and the beach being a short stroll away. We spent hours relaxing by the pool (before and after our many shopping excursions)and the generous lounge and dining areas ensured that there was always somewhere to chill out and read or enjoy a chat and deconstruct the days activities.
A memorable trip for our tour - all seasoned travellers, but mostly on their first trip to Bali.
Highly recommended - great location, facilities, and attention to detail.

A slightly different review - I haven't had the pleasure of staying at Taman Villa (yet). In recent month's I've been organising a surprise trip for 8 girls - mums and daughters. Always difficult to do this by remote control, but anita's prompt responses, organisation, advice, attention to detail and patience made arranging the trip an easy and doubt-free exercise.
Although the girls are all well travelled, for most it was their first time to Bali. Having all of them thrilled with the accomodation, location and Villa amenities - as well as the support of Iluh and Johny the Driver was a wonderful result...Response from HVRBali - 12/06/2011

I stayed here for a week with my 8 month old baby, the villa was absolutely devine and had everything one would need, the tariff so reasonable and Iluh!!! what a valuable member of anita and Tim's family.
Everything perfect,lovely pool, wonderful gardens, fantastic location, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. I have stayed from top range resorts through to mid range hotels and Taman Villa is a definite star. I had already booked a return visit before we had left.

We stayed at 3 bedrooms villa, which can accomodate up to 8 people. The rooms are comfortable. 2 of the rooms have tv and ensuite bathroom. the kitchen is well equip. the swimming pool s well maintained and cleaned everyday. there's a house helper who comes daily to clean the house. The garden is also nice. the villa is located in the heart of seminyak with easy assess to shopping area, mini markets and restaurants. overall the villa is outstanding and we had enjoyed our stay in Bali..

Taman Villa was a beautiful place to stay. It had everything our family needed and was located close to shops & restaurants and about 15 minutes walk from the beach.
Iluh was very helpful and came daily to clean and bring fresh water.
The decor was modern and suited the tropical lifestyle.
We really enjoyed our stay there. -

Then Taman Villa is ideal. We were two couples and one single and the 3 bedroom villa was great. The set up of the villa was excellent with the quality of the finish excellent. It was the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Bali!
The booking process was easy and all our questions were quickly handled by email with anita. We would highly recommend this villa. -

Taman Villa is in an excellent location, set back from the main road of Seminyak so the hustle and bustle is right at your doorstep, but you are located down a serene, quiet walkway so far enough to have peace and quiet.
The pool, although shared between villas provided peace of mind with a secure lock given we have young children who can not swim.
Iluh (the young lady who came to the villa to clean every day) was fabulous. A very approachable girl who babysat our children 3 nights and the kids adored her. A gentle nature and we instantly warmed to her.
The accomodation was great.
Bali was the best holiday we have had since we had children, the first where we actually felt like we had a true break from the routine of home and activites that everyone could enjoy (such as Waterbomb park and Bali Safari). Perhaps this has to do with the kids being older (5 and 3) but I think the accomodation was a major factor too.

TamanVilla is the perfect getaway nestled down a quiet laneway and yet so close to all the beautifull shops and restaurants of Seminyak.The villa is open plan overlooking a lovely tropical garden and you feel at home the minute you walk in.The shared pool is a haven of tranquility where one can sip a cocktail at sunset or wathch the kids playing.There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which is perfect for 2 or 3 couples or for 2 couples with 4 children.It was so nice to stay in a home decorated in modern balinese style with beautifull colours and all the comforts you would expect to find in a property of such a high standard.

A group of 5 adults (1 couple and 3 single friends) spent a week at the Taman Villa (April 2011), we were the first guests after the recent renovations and really enjoyed our stay. Some short points :
1. Good location down a gang (small lane way) next door to the Haven Hotel in the centre of Seminyak close to shops, restaurants and transport.
2. Only 5 minutes walk to the Bintang Supermarket
3. Upstairs is the master bedroom with king bed plus ensuite and the 3rd bedroom with 2 queen size beds.
4. The 2nd bedroom with queen bed plus ensuite and the main bathroom is located downstairs. We just left a light on during the night for our nocturnal bathroom users using the upstairs bedroom so they didn't fall down the stairs!
5. All bedrooms are air conditioned which is an absolute necessity!
6. Although the villa doesn't have it's own exclusive pool, the share pool is rarely used by anyone else. It has large steps at each end which are perfect for sipping cocktails or for small children to splash around (as pool fences are rare in Bali, this villa could be a good alternative for parents with small children).
7. Beautiful gardens with large grassed area.
We looked at a few other villas in the gang and were very happy we chose to stay at the Taman Villa. We even watched the Royal wedding on the BBC (there are about 6 English speaking television channels)! -

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa, our party was 2 couples and 4 children and the villa suited everyone's needs. We especially enjoyed the entertaining and seating areas which were comfortable and spacious. The staff deserve a special mention as they were delightful and really helpful, Iluh was wonderful with all the children and willingly baby sat for us whenever required. We had a great holiday.

We simply loved this villa, we had always stayed in resorts before and this was just like our own private resort ! We travelled with our extended family which included small children and being able to lock the door to the pool gave us real peace of mind. The villa was really spacious, provided every convenience we needed as well as wonderful staff. The beds were comfortable and the villa was big enough that we were not on top of each other the whole time. We would highly recommend this villa, we will definitely be booking again for next year !

The Villa was amazing!!
We stayed at the villa with 4 friends from Sweden. the Villa was big a spacious so we all had our own space to chill out. the best part about the villa was that is it right in the heart of Seminyak. it was just meters from all the great restaurants and cafe. Each morning we would walk down to the beach ( 10 mins) and then come back for a swim in the pool. Each night we would walk to have dinner at a restaurants and then head out to a bar for some drinks. the place had a great media area where we could chill out and watch movies and the staff were so helpful and good at English. they even helped us get a good deal on hiring some scooters.
I would definitely recommend this villa as a great place to stay in Bali!

Wonderful family holiday at Taman Villa - beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa just off Jl Seminyak in the heart of absolutely everything. The villa is spacious and gorgeous - very modern with beautiful Balinese touches, in a very quiet location but close to most good restaurants, shopping and just a short stroll to the beach.
The attention to detail in all aspects of Taman Villa is amazing. It had everything we needed - separate living areas, television, dvd player, sound system, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, air conditioning, private pool and gardens. The pool and garden are maintained daily by the gardener and are also flawless. Iluh, the housekeeper also comes in daily. It was a great place to relax once everyone had finished their daily Bali activities - swim in the pool, sit around and have a family meal together or head off to one of the many restuarants nearby. For our family, the villa was a much better option than a hotel, and better value for money. We loved it. Will definitely stay there again.

I have travelled to Bali many times and have stayed in many different accomodations from International 5 star hotels to top end Villas. I would like to say my experience at Taman Villa would have to be of my most enjoyable Bali stays. The location is fantastic, close to the best restuarants on the island as well as the hot shopping destination of Seminyak. All within walking distance. Inside the grounds of the villa is the peace and serenity we all travel to Bali for. The early morning swims in the beautiful pool and relaxing by the pool were the highlights of my trip. The decor is amazing and it rivals any 5 star Villa I have stayed in that were 3 times the price. The architect, interior designer is to be commended on such a beautiful Villa. I would thoroughly recommend Taman Villa. A true Bali secret.
