Open the carved wooden garden gate to reveal a walled oasis dominated by a wonderful freeform swimming pool. The surrounding 2.5m walls are concealed by mature gardens of lush green palms and ferns bursting with Heliconia and Bougainvillea. Frangipani and coconut palms hang over the pool giving a cool shade. The open-sided living areas spill out onto the poolside decking and grassed areas to giving a pleasant feeling of space. Fans turn lazily overhead. Four simple bedrooms (and 1 kid/maid room), all ensuite, sit around the pool in two separate buildings between which lies a shady balé (gazebo). Villa MahaRaj is down a sleepy cul-de-sac surrounded by 3 or 4 other villas. The cul-de-sac leads to a quiet small side road. The whole Seminyak area is sprinkled with villas, resorts, and a wide mix of restaurants and shops from the seriously chic to local lean-to stalls. You will find everything from cushion makers to car renters, spas to stores selling all sorts of crafts, designer labels to hawkers plying the nearby beaches – all within walking distance.

As a family we have stayed in many Villa's in Bali- it is our preferred accomodation. The MahaRaj is as exactly as it looks on the net however exceeds expectations once your there. Due largely in part to the staff of this Villa. We had the most incredible time and lived liked royalty!The pool was incredible and the sense of space and gorgeous grounds was a luxury for a private Villa.You could not getter a better location in Seminyak! We miss The MahaRaj and now just wish it could be our permanent residence!
