Villa Rene is just a really nice villa. - Airport Transfers - $25 / stay - Other - We can arrange airport transfer for you with a safe English-speaking Driver and modern car. For a 7 seater car price is Rp 200,000 and for a 12 seater car the price is Rp 400,000 payable upon arrival direct to the driver.
- Car & Driver Hire - $0 / day - Other - We can arrange car hire for you with a safe English-speaking Driver and modern car. Rates depend on duration (price is less for hires of 7 days or more) and on size of car, but start from Rp 420,000/day inculding insurance but excluding petrol.
- Kids Pool Fence - $250 / week - Other - We can provide a kids safety fence around the pool. Minimum hire is for one week. Additional days cost $20/day
- Additional Nanny - $60 / stay - Other - Although our staff will help with kids, we can also provide a dedicated English speaking nanny for $60/day for a 12 hour day.
- VIP Arrival Service - $25 / person - Other - Personal Meet & Greet Service at the Airport to avoid queues at the airport. Departure service can also be provided.
- Credit Card Surcharge - 6% of rental - Fee - We are able to accept payment with any Credit Card via PayPal in GBP, but we now charge 6% to cover PayPal's fees and because dealing with PayPal is an awful experience. We are currently setting up with better payment provider and our rates will come down once we finalise everything with them. I apologise for the inconvenience while we dump PayPal.

All our rates include Indonesian taxes, including the 10% tourism tax, and the 10% sales tax, and also include full breakfast, unlimited tea, coffee and water, and the exclusive use of the villa facilities and own private pool as well as the services of the dedicated staff including a cook for the duration of your stay. Price also includes full access to the great kid-friendly leisure and sports facilities at the Canggu Club (www.cangguclub.com)

We (group of 6 friends) stayed in Villa Rene in May and we all highly impressed by the beautifully appointed and friendly staffed Villa Rene.
I've never stayed in Villa accommodation before but I would highly recommend it for any group. The place felt more like a palace than a villa... there was plenty of common space and the bedrooms are big! The mattress in the top floor was a too hard for us but our friends in the other rooms said their beds were fine. Our own private pool was a major drawcard and we enjoyed having drinks and keeping cool.
Villa Rene is in a secluded area north of Seminyak where there is very less traffic and noise, but still close enough to get to Legian or Kuta by taxi. Seminyak was about 15 minute walk along the beach, I think it's quicker to walk than catching a taxi but it is a very nice place for a walk at night. Whilst you're here you can walk to Naughty Nuri's restaurant, they do takeaway too and I had some of the best ribs and burgers there.
The service was superb and was the stand out for our stay. Wayan, Putu and Made's friendliness and service was on par with anything you'd receive at a luxury hotel and they made us very welcomed. The breakfast was great and we had Putu cook us dinner which was lovely.
The rooms were very clean when we arrived and they kept it clean throughout our stay. It was our first time in Bali so Wayan's knowledge of Bali was excellent and he organized some tours of Bali for us. On the service alone, I will come stay at Villa Rene again. -

I booked Villa Rene for myself and 6 friends as a base for my 30th celebrations.
From the moment we arrived at the villa we were impressed. A warm welcome from Wayan and his lovely wife and daughter, followed by a dip in the pool - perfect after a (very) long flight.
The villa was a great size for our group and the service from the team was amazing. We all particularly enjoyed our morning cooked breakfasts and fresh fruit smoothies (the best) and a special thanks to the guys for my birthday cake on arrival home from the spa. Was such a nice surprise - so very thoughtful.
The villa itself is well equipped and tidy and the team are incredibly thorough in maintaining it daily. You'll find it hard going back to real life on your return home!
The villa is a short stroll from Naughty Nuri's which has a great atmosphere. Good value food too. It's also a fairly short walk to Kuta if you take the route along the beach (which has some great little bars along the way). It's not close to Seminyak (walking) however so would definitely recommend a cab there. And make sure you get some comparative prices on cabs nearby as the cabbies will try to rip you off!
I'd definitely go back to Villa Rene. Maybe even later this year... -

We stayed at Villa Rene for 10 days 2 families with 3 young children and had a wonderful time...we did not want to leave after the 10 days. Wayan and Putu make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We made use of the Canggu Club plus hired Wayan for the 10 days to drive us around and a car seat was available. The house is also very accommodating, with high chairs, toys and books for the children. Breakfast was great each morning. We spent a lot of time in the pool with the kids and had Putu cook a lovely meal for us one of the nights during our stay.
We would stay again and would recommend staying here :) -

I stayed in Villa Rene with my extended family (6 adults, 3 kids), and we had overall a great time. Breakfast was great, and the villa was kept very clean by Wayan and his family. We also hire Wayan as driver for the entire period of 10 days (incl. airport pick-up, which simplified things), which was really greatly convenient. The pool in the villa is ok for a quick refresher, but otherwise one of the great benefits of Villa Rene is the access to Canggu club, which we used extensively to play tennis, swim, have lunch amd relax after spending the morning usually at the beach. My only small complaint was related to a pretty strong smell in the ground floor bedroom, coming from the bathroom. I would stronly recommend trying to do something about it, if possible. Otherwise definitely worth the money.

This villa is amazing with the 2 wonderful staff wyan and putu . The bedroom were so big and the villa is beautiful decorated . Breakfast each day was so nice to wake up to . Nothing was every to much for wyan and putu . Wyan drove us all over Bali and knew all the sights to see . Putu works so hard cleaning and looking after the villa every day . We had a great time and would go back there any day . Thanks wyan and putu for making our trip so fantasti. The only negative is they could do with 1 more staff member as wyan and putu work so hard

thanks for your kind comments. You are absolutely right about getting more staff at Villa Rene. Wayan is interviewing candidates now, and we are making arrangements to have a second staff quarters at the villa as well, and hope to have at least one more staff member by the end of the month.

This villa is very beautifully furnished with ensuites off all bedrooms. Wayan & Putu looked after us exceptionally well. We were a large family group and were pleased to have cots, high chairs, children's table & chairs etc., all ready for our arrival. The location is in a new area of tourist development so we weren't bombarded by hawkers when we went to the beach or shops. It is very easy and cheap to get to Kuta by taxi. So if you are looking for luxury, being spoilt by personal service and being away from the crowds then check out Villa Rene.

Very central, 5 min walk to the beach, 15-20 minutes walk to Ku De Ta, quite area, very clean, great staff, child friendly villa, nice swimming pool, free to used Cangu Club which is great for kids activities.
