Passed the vintage appearance and campy cottage, this holiday rental's heart is bold art-deco - in keeping with the playfulness of this stunning island. After sundown, colored lights tracing the interiors, the black-white tiled floor - with the pool lit up, the villa could remind one of Miami. It's got designs to go along with anything on your play list.

With 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an extra toilet, the villa hosts with room to spare. Your second bedroom is actually a 'Joglo' - likely one of the sweetest cabins you'll have seen – at 15 square meters, with private bathroom, and closed off with a double-pane window. As part of the villa's maid service, a morning visit offers breakfast in bed for the cost of groceries alone (by request). Mineral water is an inclusion you'll come to appreciate during your stay and laundry services are there, if needed. Otherwise, rental vehicles, baby sitters, on-call spa services, pre-arrival shopping runs, and airport transportation are available for your convenience. To top it off, we'll provide a mobile phone - yours to use - an essential, when in Bali.

While Mozaic Beach Club - and restaurants like Warung Sobat and Naughty Nuri's – bring the crowds to Batubelig Village, for many local families, this neighborhood is home. Being residential, transportation may need some planning (unless you're renting, of course). While taxi pick up can easily be arranged, most guidebooks mention Batubelig's taxi stand (right up the road from the beach) as an option, which may require a little bartering. Local secrets and secluded beaches are not far, and for dinner, a short taxi ride to nearby Canggu Village opens your options to the Mediterranean Trattoria, Japanese Suksme Sushi Bar, Indotopia, and more.

On first walk through, chefs note the ample counter tops and fully-equipped kitchen - though their diners might not make it far past an elegant bar, big enough for some warm soirees. Not your thing? Apart from the 32'inch TV with cable and a movie library, the private pool is there to entertain and encourage some chilled-out afternoons (FYI: pool fence can be installed for an extra cost of $30/day). Don't forget the 1 double and single day bed – and mosquito nets – in the open area, fitting for 5 or 6 guests. Bringing home some valuables? Your Joglo's closet / dressing room can easily be used for storage – and securely locked up for peace of mind.
