BrightonBest villa in Bali
Left on 05/06/2013 for a stay in June 2011
I really love this place...looked for days trying to find a place with the right vibe, modern decor etc for a family with 3 kids...everything seemed so overpriced for what you get until we found the cutest villa in Bali..everything about this place is so good. The pool, the cabana, the garden and staff and best of all are the huge beds and just how the place looks (very important to me). Even better than the photos as it has been recently refurbed...the position is great, just around the corner from the supermarket and in the middle between Legian and Seminyak. I dream of the meal from the local Warung, just a few doors down...we fed our family a traditional meal and had a beer/drink each for around $10 for the entire family...I just cant recommend this place enough...so great and peaceful at night with all the mod cons to make your stay really comfortable...tell your friends they wont be disappointed...

Cape SchanckThe Best Holiday Ever!
Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed at this great Villa last year and returned again this year in april. The villa has had a make-over since we stayed last...freshly painted and has new artwork throughout the lounge area. The lounge suite has also been recovered. It looks fantastic! We have three children under 10years and it was a dream staying here with the wonderful staff taking care of all of the washing and cleaning, making the beds etc and also some cooking. The villa is so close to all of the great restaurants that we ate out most nights and were able to walk to most (with the kids). We frequented the supermarket which is very close by and were also able to prepare lunches and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. I loved being able to leave the kids with their dad by the pool while I ducked out to do some shopping (all within walking distance). This villa is so chilled out and relaxing, our children loved the pool and it definately beats fighting for a sunlounge at a large hotel! Total privacy. We will be booking again for next year. Can't wait!!

We stayed here in October (2012) for 10 days. It was myself, my husband and our 9 month old baby girl. We had an amazing time. The place was really cute and so close to everything. Benjamin the manager was so lovely to deal with and went out of his way to accommodate us - letting us have a late checkout in another villa as this one had other people checking in and our flight wasn't till 1am.
The villa is really cute and rustic. All bedrooms have aircon but the rest of the villa is all open plan. The pool and garden area are amazing. We had many a night out by the pool relaxing drinking beers. There is also a few cheap but awesome places to get dinner (including the local restaurant for the locals - 3 doors up at a $1.50 a meal - a total bargain). There is a strip of bars and shops within about 2 mins from villa and supermarket about 5 mins or less walking away.
The maid ulu (who lives round the corner) was so lovely and she cooked us breakfasts a few mornings. For a small fee she even babysat for us. She was so lovely.
All in all it was a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it to my friends. -

My husband and I plus our two children ( 5 and 7 ) stayed at this little slice of heaven in May for 10 days. It was wonderful. from the moment we were met at the airport, to the time we left, the whole stay at this villa was perfect.
Benjamin was very professional in all dealings, even after my many questions about the villa before we booked. One of the main reasons we did choose this Villa was because Benjamin was so helpfully during the inquiry process. I also liked the fact that he was the person who met us at the house but who also took the booking..( just one person ) Plus his knowledge of Bali was just what we needed.
Illouh who looked after us every day in the house was a dream, nothing was a problem, and I cant wait to see her again, when we go back. The house was always tidy, the linen was well kept and clean, The furniture and settings of the house are very light and funky, I even had the same mosquito netting made for my bedroom. The gardens and pool were well kept and very private, so no noisy neighbours ( but you do get use to the chickens down the road).
The location of this Villa is great..right next to the shops and very easy to get to the beach where we had dinner most nights with the kids..Easy...
All i can say is " This is the place you want to stay at, it ticks all the boxes" We will be staying here again and I cant wait
See you soon Benjamin.. :-)

We stayed at this villa in June and loved it !
The kids preferred to stay in the pool rather than go to the beach which suited us as well.
It was very clean and beautifully decorated .
Ilu the house keeper was lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Yarvou the dog was great and as our children missed our dog at home they loved having her company. It was made very clear to us however that if we did not want Yarvou around she would go else were.
The position of the villa was fantastic and we were able to walk 100 meters and be in the heart of Seminyak . It is also only about a 5 minute walk to the supermarket which was very handy for us if the kids wanted some snacks to eat around the pool. -

SydneyTotally awesome - a bit rough around the edges

The villa is styled really well in a Bohemian Chic Beach House style. There is a large open air sitting area with large sofa, TV, and two day beds. This then flows into the dining area, which has two more day beds, and a large dining table. Behind that is the kitchen. All the living areas are open air.
Master bedroom upstairs has a King Bed with private seating alcove area. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, walk in robe. The third bedroom is quite small and has a double bed. All bedrooms are air conditioned. There is only one bathroom in the whole villa, which is downstairs.
There is a large day bed hut in the garden overlooking the pool. The pool is a good size, and very nice. The sun does not actually shine where the sun beds are. We put our towels on the pavers.
The Housekeeper is Ilu, who is lovely and is happy to go grocery shopping for you and cook breakfast each day. You just give her the cash, and she will go to the supermarket and buy whatever you need. She is around each day 8am-3pm. Her English is very limited, but enough to communicate basic requests. The gardener and pool guy come once a week. There is a house dog, who comes and goes as she pleases. She is very cute and very quiet, but Ilu will take her away if you are not a dog lover.
There is a guest mobile phone, which you can use if you need, and you can call Benjamin if you have a problem. Booking and payment was very simple.
The only negative thing I would say is that it is a bit rough around the edges. It really needs a bit of a soft renovation, just fixing up lots of the little things here and there to lift the overall standard. But it is still totally charming, private and relaxing.
There is one other thing, one of the neighbors keeps Roosters. They crow at all hours, very annoying.
We will be back next year! Thanks!
