We stayed at this Villa in November 2012 with some colleagues from work. I delt directly with joe the owner (English) who met us upon arrival and was only too happy to assist however possible. We stayed with a 12 month old baby and the villa had fantastic facilities for the baby. Cot with removable change table, highchair and pool toys.
The living area in the villa has wooden floors. For those who have walked on glossy tiles with wet feet straight from the pool you will understand how much better wood floors are! (no slipping).
Great pool which was the perfect temperature the whole time.
Great breakfast, the team were happy to accommodate for extra items if we left the extra money for the items to be purchased.
Very very clean and the staff were wonderful and not too 'in your face'. The bedrooms had aussie powerpoints and good air conditioning.
Great location, close to a bottle shop that sells wine and also 5 min walk to bintang supermarket (like bali's version of an IGa)
Joe also supplied a local mobile phone which was brilliant for ordering delivery food to the villa.
Would definitely recommend this Villa and will stay again.

Just had a enjoyable stay at the lane for 10 days. Met by Joe on arrival to show us around villa & how to use amenties and introduce us to staff. Villa is exactly as photos, a 5 minute walk to Bintang supermarket. Breakfast is provided and was delicious. Overall bed was very comfortable, air conditioner did not miss a beat. I have stayed at many other villas in Bali but I think I have found a gem in the Lane. I dealt directly with Joe in my booking and found he got back to me straight away not like other villas that deal with you in Bali time. I have booked to come back again in July and would recommend this villa to anyone.

Just came home from a 9 night stay at this villa and already planning our next stay. The villa was clean, new and modern. Jo was there to assist with any requests and offered alot of local knowledge. Madde, Adi and Suzie were wonderful, daily breakfast was delish !!! Transfer to and from the airport was included in our stay and we established a wonderful relationship with Putu with him assisting us with all our travel requirements during our stay. Location of the villa was excellent, it was a private retreat that was centrally located. Thank you Joe for sharing your paradise with us, with now have a new family holiday destination !!!

What a fanastic villa. This place was amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Joe (owner) and the staff Made, Adi and Komang and were made extremely welcomed. All of our needs were looked after. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and is very large for its location. The pool was awesome and massive. It was extremely private and there was no external noise from motor bikes or construction near by. The location was superb, being only a couple of hundred meters to the shops, bars and restaurants. It was an easy walk to the beach to experience sensational sunsets. We travelled with 2 young girls a 5 year old and a 10 month old. They were absolutely spoilt be the staff.
Would I recommend? Have done so many times over. Would I go back? Absolutely, already planning a trip for 2013.

We stayed at "The Lane" villa in Oct, 2012 and from the moment we arrived to our departure we found the whole experience to be fantastic and beyond our expectations. Joe and his staff - Made, Komang and adi were very professional and looked after our every need. Joe the owner was very helpful with organising transport and day trips. He organised an ocean rafting trip for us which was wonderful and we highly recommend it. The villa itself is beautifully laid out and appointed with a central pool and our teenage son was in heaven. My wife and I are 'foodies' and Joe's insight into the restaurant scene in and around Seminyak guided us to many a pleasant dining experience. Made's breakfasts were done to perfection, served in a tropical setting and were a fantastic way to start the day. Joe was a wonderful host who was always on hand to help. Overall the villa is an oasis in five star location, a superb design in a beautiful garden setting and 5 star all the way. We cannot recommend it more highly.

What a beautiful place to stay on holidays in Bali. Joe, the owner was so very kind and helpful. He assisted us with all our requests and nothing was too much trouble. He even arranged transport to and from the airport and a fabulous day trip to Ubud. The staff- Made Komang and adi were fantastic. They were so warm and friendly and Made cooked us the best breakfasts every morning.The Lane is a luxurious, well equipped villa located very close to the main shopping and eating areas in the heart of Seminyak. It is very private and secluded and you feel very safe. Can't wait to return there for another wonderful holiday!

While the Lane Villa is in busy Seminyak, it is an absolute oasis! And so close to great shopping and the beach...not that you need to ever leave the Villa! Joe is an amazing host and has really thought about his Western Clients' needs...complimentary local mobile phone was a great asset...and the immigration fast track service Joe arranged for us at the airport was the best thing ever. Joe checked in with us everyday and had great recommendations on where to go, what to do..and arranged anything we needed. The Lane Villa provides superb 5 Star accommodation, but really the best thing is that the layout of the Villa and the service provided is really specially tailored to suit our more relaxed australian/western lifestyle...the kitchen is not out of bounds to the guests like in more traditional Bali Villas... It is a delightful home away from home with all the perks of a fully serviced/staffed Villa. We cant recommend it highly enough!

We stayed at The Lane with a group of six adults and our experience of this residence was one that made a lasting impression. The Lane features all the benefits of a villa with a hotel feel as staff were present daily to provide breakfast , fresh juices , room keeping and facilitated any other requests we had. Their presence was unobstrusive and allowances were made for each couples own wake up times ! The property has three very private rooms with ensuites and is tastefully furnished with an modern Indonesian feel and lush gardens .
The bathrooms in particular are amazing and waking up and walking straight into the pool from your own room whilst the staff prepare plunger coffee was our favourite morning ritual. Joe , the property manager English and is available by phone or in person for any information or tips and made the payment procedure a breeze. We will be returing to The Lane for its beauty , great staff and value for money . -

The Lane presented just as well as shown on the photos and provided luxury up to date accommodation in lovely gardens; this gave a tranquil setting in contrast to the busy streets of Seminyak. The manager and staff were most helpful with arrangements and looked after us very well. The location is great for shops and restaurants and all amenities.

My wife, kids and myself stayed in the Lane Villa in Seminyak Bali and had a fabulous holiday, the villa was located within 2 minutes from the main shopping area in the heart of Seminyak but at the same time offered seclusion and privacy. The Lane villa was 5 star in every aspect, extremely clean and had style and character with a Balinese design, the pool was crystal clear and set at an appealing temperature.
Joe, the owner was extremely helpful, assisting us with our every need, recommendations and requests.
All the staff at the Lane Villa were amazing, the breakfast prepared every morning for all was sensational.
Thank you to all the staff and Joe for making my family's holiday one to remember.
We will be back.

Our stay at The Lane Villa was outstanding, the villa was centrally located and yet secluded . It was very clean and had a very modern balinese design
Joe, the owner was very nice and helpful assisting with recommendations and requests.
The staff at the Villa and our driver were amazing. They organized a beautiful private dinner to celebrate 4 of our friends birthday.
Thank you once again for making our stay so perfect.
Will be coming back to the Villa on our next trip

Its was everything we thought it would be and more. The service was second to none with everything we wanted and very polite and caring staff when ever we needed them. A swim in the morning before breakfast of our choice at a time that suited us. Jo helped us organise a 40th birthday party where we wined and dined by the pool on a beautiful balmy night by candle light.Thankyou jo for a very memorable stay and yes we will definatly be back.

This place was a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Jonathon was a very gracious and helpful host and the staff were wonderful. Can i just start by thanking Jo and all of the staff for a very pleasant stay in the Lane Villa. What few reservations we did have Jo was onto them straight away sorted like a true Gent i would go as far to say that Jo and his staff all put themselves out above and beyond the call of duty. The villa was always in pristine condition Jo organised a chef in house for us to have a meal at home one night needless to say the food was faultless. I should make mention that there is building work going on next door a little noisy at times but after walking around seminyak where arnt they building and this never in any way became a major issue as far as our party of 6 were concerned. All in all Jo you have a great set up there at the lane, we would come to stay with you again no worries. I would just like to take this opportunity Jo to thank both you and your staff for what was a great holiday and wish you all the best for the future.
