Additional Location Information
The village of Batu Belig where the villa is located used to be a sleepy village at the end of a no through road, however since the new bridge to Berawa was built and the Canggu Club opened it has become home to some incredible restaurants that have gained cult following with local Expats who stay on Bali year round. This is due to the tasty food and incredible low prices.

Gold coastEasily one of the best holidays ever! Pure Luxury!
Left on 04/29/2013 for a stay in April 2013
From the moment we arrived until the day that we left we enjoyed every moment.
The staff Wayan, Coco and Yoman are there to cater for everything whether it be a lovely breakfast each morning (thank you Wayan) we loved the banana pancakes! , then off to enjoy the sites only to return to a beautifully clean villa ( thank you Coco). We stayed with friends and their teenagers Yoman went out of his way to accommodate for the youngest boy (thank you Yoman).
The Villa is only metres away from the beach and a short cab ride into Seminyak we found a great little bar at the end of the street on the beach
perfect to sit in one of the bean bags with a bintang and watch the sunset.
Naughty Nuri's the rib place was a big hit being within walking distance, fantastic food.
We also had our goddaughter with us and it was her 18th birthday the spread that Wayan put on was unbelievable and we must mention the cake, was absolutely to die for!
Showing that the staff will go out of their way to accomodate for any request.
They are lovely people and we look forward to seeing them all again next year.
I had read reviews prior to going and I must say yes the rooster was loud the first night but after that myself and my travel companions got used to it and it was no bother.
The Villa is designed in a way so your not in each others pockets, if you want your own space there is plenty of it but if you want to enjoy everyone's company there is enough seating as well.

MelbourneFantastic family villa
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in January 2013
My family and I stayed at villa Kula for 10 days in mid jan for a wedding. This villa is just fantastic, it was much better than staying at a hotel because it felt like a luxurious home. The staff were wonderful, particularly newman who took care of the maintenance and wyan the chef was just wonderful who cooked us some of the best Indonesian food we'd ever had, it was great to be able to cook ourselves a meal if we didn't want to go out. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a $3.00 taxi ride to seminyak rd shopping precinct. Its also a 5 minute walk from naughty nuris and 10 minute walk to a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant Rustica.Â
We are large family with 9 adults and 2 children, the staff kept the villa clean and tidy and were just great with the children. The rooms were spacious, well designed with massive california king beds and large contemporary Balinese styled bathrooms. The pool was great size, with a perfect shallow end for the kiddies.Â
When booking we were a little concerned about the reviews about the road noise. It didn't bother us at all, you couldn't hear while inside at all, and while outside it's the noise you would get from any suburban road. The only noise that bothered us was the rooster from the house behind us. My parents were staying on the bottom floor bedroom closest to the house and my mothers a very light sleeper so by the third night she wanted to choke the bird. The rest of us didn't even hear it while inside our rooms. Villa kula is the perfect villa for a family, it's rooms a very private and the spacious living areas allows lots of time to relax. There is really no faults to note, my only reccommendation would be to put more thicker comfortable mattress in the tv converted bedroom, apart from that villa kula is beyond fantastic, great value luxury villa and when we're in Bali again we won't bother staying anywhere else. Thank you for making our Bali stay so wonderful! -

Perth, WAWonderful villa, poor location
Left on 01/11/2013 for a stay in November 2012
The best thing about this villa is the staff they are wonderful, and nothing was too much trouble. The furnishings and cleanliness were a1, but the location was certainly an issue. We were somewhat disappointed that breakfast, of some sort, wasn't included as it is by no means a low budget property. The bale in the garden was a very popular spot for the mean to watch sport on the tv.
One of the reasons for our choice was the fact that the living area has air con and bifolds to close it off. Unfortunately, the roof of the living room is so tall the air con has no affect whatsoever.
The villa is located on the corner of a narrow, busy road with an open ditch alongside so care had to be taken when walking. We felt it too dangerous to allow the children to walk However, there is a taxi station close by and the staff can have a taxi there for you in no time - but this is a bit of a nuisance when you just want to go up the road for a massage or to change money. One of the staff offers himself and his vehicle for day trips at an excellent rate. His driving was fine.
Next door is a private residence, which we felt sure was a chicken farm, due to the noise. The roosters crowed all day long. This actually bothered us more than the traffic noise.
We wouldn't stay here again due to the road and the lack of effectiveness of the air con. Also, due to the poor location and lack of breakfast we consider it to be a little overpriced. -

perthGood villa but very noisy
Left on 07/15/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We stayed for 5 days at Villa Kula in July 2012. Clean, spacious and comfortable with good staff and a great cook (Wayan) however disappointingly noisy. The villa is on the corner of a busy road and when sitting at the pool and most of the living areas there is a constant flow of traffic noise . Even in the upstairs bedrooms (which we slept in) this was a concern through the night and in the early hours of the am.
Well located, close to the beach (about a 5 minute walk along the beach to the W Hotel) and near the popular Naughty Nuris restaurant, we would definitely stay in this general area again but not in this villa due to the noise.
The Villa does not have sign outside so the easiest directions would be to instruct taxis to take you to akasha Villa complex as their entrance is directly opposite the entrance to Villa Kula. We booked through IndoVillas and this should have been made clear as we drove around in circles trying to find it (we were coming from Candidasa and did not use the Villa transfers).

SydneyWonderful time spent with friends and family at Villa Kula
Left on 05/02/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We had a great time for the week we spent at the Villa in april 2012. The staff were wonderful and provided us with all the attention, and delicious meals we could have hoped for.
The pool was lovely and always clear and clean. All the rooms were five star quality and the beds were the most comfortable things I've come across.
The location of the Villa is perfect for Bali. Far enough away from the chaos of Kuta and the bustle of Seminyak, but close enough to walk or ride when you want that. A stones throw away from the beach too, not much more to ask for. -
